Yeah, really good sportsmanship from Logano. Logano seemed genuinely happy for him.
Thats one thing about Joey. Yeah hes a tool, but he shows respect toward other drivers, like that crash a couple years ago when Almirola broke his back

@@JeffWeselyan Rewatch it a .25 speed. Logano held his line. only block was the last one wherw he moved up... long before the 34 gave the 2 the push and put Brad sideways into Logano.

Agreed.
I personally think the race got better with less cars. More room to make moves and figure out a strategy instead of relying on dumb luck most of the race. It was still exciting to watch the last few laps which is when everyone goes for it anyway.
Oh well, at least we have NASCAR next weekend

This made this race look 100% better then it actually was. 185 laps of single file racing looked great in this video
Logano coming to congratulate him in Victory Lane was cool, especially since they all wrecked there at the end and Joey was part of it. Glad they all know it was just a racing deal.
3 Things:
1) Congrats to Michael McDowell! I've been a long time fan of his and this is awesome to see him finally get his first win after all of his years of struggling to stay in the sport, including his Start-and-park years (he is the all-time "leader" in last places finishes in the Cup Series)
2) I had no idea Clayton Hughes was McDowell's spotter. Cool stuff there.
3) I love all the little details that the editor put into this video. One that I particularly love is the little extra pop they put in at 5:58 when Brad's tire popped on the catch-fence. I've re-watched that moment about a dozen times now. Well done and Thank You!

At some point, McDowell lost the draft, that was before Bell's second wreck I believe, it was awesome to see him winning.

@@P8nda Tapered Spacer is basically a fancy word for restrictor plate. The problem is they are using it at almost every track now. It has made the racing really bad at mile and a halfs.

Bell wiping out those cars so early really made this into a rather lackluster 500. McDowell winning was what saved it from being a total crapfest
It wasn't Bell that caused the wreck! 18 was shoving Bell so hard his back tires were up off the ground! Kind of hard to control a car with half the wheels not in contact Want someone to blame blame the 18

First of all I'm glad that everyone was ok after that wild crash and I wanted Chase Elliott to win but with seeing Michael McDowell winning the race that was a very wild but awesome race.😀👍

This was the greatest day of my life. My first NASCAR cup series race. It was probably the best thing I’ve ever experienced. Can’t thank my Grandma enough. The Xfinity race was fantastic as well, probably a better than the cup race

So elated McDowell won but NASCAR really needs to evaluate driver safety. Newman last year was terrifying and the crash this year on the last lap was vicious and could have easily hurt a driver. These cars are the fastest they have ever been on plate tracks since the days pre restrictor plate and these wrecks are getting worse.
