The year is 2088. We have 32K monitors capable of 6000hz. They still use DisplayPort 1.4.
Cool! I live in 3043. MicroLED still hasn’t been released for consumers.
I hear that. Lol.
Correction: 1.4.1 wireless spec.
6000 could be something to look forward to
Hahaha this is so true! Using old technology that has already been updated yet still asking a premium price
Look at all these companies going all out against each other to get our money. You love to see this!
Yeah they are all competing for my money, but all of them are asking for the same amount of money, there is no real price competition, I find the prices really crazy
@@Hoytehablode The prices would be a lot higher without the competition though.

This year is finally the OLED monitor year. So many new monitors, but hard to decide which one should to buy. QD-OLEDs are available shortly and the ones with MLA LG panels just at the end of the year 😬
No, not yet.. 4K monitors will shine next year and with 5000 series you will able to get 120+ Hz from games. And matte screen is big no.
@@MonkeyMannMacho I don't talk about indie games or fake frame generations. Cyberpunk can even hardly see 100 FPS with 4090.. Can't improve more? Lol.. what did stop to improve in time? They could do it only at 32" anyway which is a small size for me.
@@MonkeyMannMacho Depends on the game, most new AAA games at max settings can't hit a solid 120 fps yet without DLSS
@@hades4438 Always the argument you can barely utilize the 240hz in 4K so these monitors are useless at the moment… Absolutely nonsense. I can easily play some single player games in 4K where I don’t need necessarily 240 fps but prefer resolution and then switch to 1440p for shooter games where I prefer a higher framerate. So two things in one monitor
@@hades4438 All the new QD OLED monitors have glossy screens except for the Samsung ones. LG will also offer glossy panel variants
Vincent never disappoint the videos is always on top 👍👌
Comparisons between 2024 32" QD Oleds and WOLED are going to be fun.
Qd is junk. Burn in is quaranteed. Woled is much better against burn in.
The information on this Channel's on point!
Can't wait for a comparison between the current gen WOLED and QD-OLED monitors.
WOLED has the ultimate feature of dual HZ QD-OLED is trash
@@satanspy debatabled its like 50/50
i think its gonna be more of a feature comparison, functions and performances gonna be the same
@@HITMAN80gPerformance is not going to be the same. WOLED can't achieve QD-OLEDs color volume.
@@verttisyrjala2897and QD-OLED can’t reach the brightness levels or burn in resilience of MLA WOLED
Very excited for monitors this year. I had an OLED TV from LG that was absolutely amazing. So in love with it still. Having them make monitors that is tech for monitors rather than just scaling down the TV is awesome.
Nice short video, very good explanation, thanks again 👍
Thanks Vincent! I hope you can do a comparison of the 32 inch WOLED vs the 32 inch QD-OLED when you get your hands on them.
My boy, thanks for the good advice for my tv
Wow. I have been dreaming of a display like this for my PC. I expect these to be very expensive but I'm glad to see all the innovations in large screen TV displays making it now into high-refresh gaming displays. Good times.
Ima upgrade mine to an oled 500hz like 10 years after it launches so the price will be reasonable
yea but video cards still can't even maintain 4k 60fps in most games, so not much point. Unless it's like CS Go or something, you won't see any benefit 😄
Same. This will be my next display purchase
@andyb9664 wth you taking about 4090 can get 8k 60 stable in most games. 4k is 120+fps. But even then a 4k 480hz monitor can do 1080 480hz as well if not more. The screensize does change ppi tho
@andyb9664 also can do 1440 480hz or more
preordered and excited. i currently have 2 of the 27 inch LG OLEDs from last year which are about 600-630 nits so having the bigger and much brighter screen will be hype
This actually looks very nice.
I might be waiting for this one.
Beautiful.
Finally
A year that everyone has been waiting for finally arrived - 32 inch oled let's gooo
OLED should be glossy in my opinion just looks better in terms of contrast etc...
Ive Played now 1 Year with my LG C2 OLED HDR Dream on windows Desktop and Gaming Pc
ACC solid game, only other racer I play than GT7, looks great in high refresh and oled too 🙏🏾🙏🏾
32 inch 4K OLED? Finally they're dropping down in sizes! That sounds perfect for me if I buy two to replace my current setup.
This monitor looks well cool
Ok. This is my dream monitor now.
1:10 yup can see the difference on my iPad Pro .
Glossy finish please 🤝🤝🤝
You have to go elsewhere.
@@Methodical2 why
@@MUMMY9fulBecause LG doesn't do it for this market, at least not at the moment.
@@Methodical2 thx!
I wish this was tech was available in 27" but what an awesome monitor. Thanks for the info, Vincent!
There will be both QD-OLED and WOLED panels at 27" this year. 1440p 360 Hz and 1440p 480 Hz, respectively. If you want 4K you gotta go bigger, though.
Technology is not there yet but according to LG production schedule they will release on in Q4 2025. It's not WOLED so it's rumored to be PHOLED
@@S3lvah I see. I was hoping LG could do 4K in 27” like Sony’s FALD LED M9 monitor. I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer for 4K at 27” in OLED
21"...
I want MLA in 42"!!!!
Same, but LG clearly wants to keep it to the G/M series for now to justify their price, and doesn't think enough buyers of those series want
Buy a TV :D
@@Xeniix The C3 (the only one with a 42" option) still won't have MLA this year. Personally, I don't find the cost of the G4 unreasonable, but on a desk a 55" would be ludicrous.
@@concinnus I find 42 to big already, though I’m happy with the 32 coming wouldn’t even mind if it 27 :D
I can understand 55 being way to overkill for a „monitor“ 🤣 only though you want a big MLA screen, buy a tv 🤣😇
@@Xeniix Windows scaling is trash! 42" 4k is a great dot pitch! They do not offer MLA on 42 and 50 inch models!
thanks for making the 45in oled dirt cheap i love it
Cool, make an ultrawide version
I need this now please my dream monitor until next year🔥🔥
bro this has everything size, hz, res, oled. god tier monitor
1920x1080 on 32" is too stretched if they have a 1440p mode then yes it would literally be the perfect monitor that can do it all
I have my eyes on that 34 ultrawide
I want that Dual mode monitor...future proofing :)
That will be my next upgrade, can't wait.
Cannot wait how long will u keep it until next update ??
@@joaquinarchivaldoguzmanloe1073 As long as it lasts, probably. It will sit on my desk right next to my 20+ year old CRT.
@@joaquinarchivaldoguzmanloe1073 Your question makes no sense, please explain.
@@nathanddrews i mean once u buy this monitor how long will it take for u to upgrade again to a different monitor ??
@@joaquinarchivaldoguzmanloe1073 Assuming it lives up to the hype and I don't return it, I will keep it for as long as it lasts (burn in or dead pixels) or until something far superior comes out (MicroLED 1000Hz?). For context, it will sit on my desk next to my 20-year-old CRT monitor.
My wishes came true
A 4K OLED display capable of extreme resolution with top of the line clarity, color, refresh rate for smoothness... aaaaaaand let's put a matte coating on it that will fade it all away. Genius
So close to perfect. Just offer a glossy display option. Please, LG. I don’t care about refresh rates, I just _really_ hate matte displays.
Exactly...
sure sure its great but with stupid anti-glare low reflection coating 😕
Amazing screen, how is its motion handling? Is there maybe Black Frame Insertion?
there are too many beautiful monitors coming out and it will be difficult to choose lol.....also this is fantastic i can use in 4k for videoediting and normal games and i can use in full hd 480 hz for competitive gaming
My next monitor
That was a sudden end.
Finally the industry is moving! Now there is hope that I will buy a monitor soon.
Hope the 32" also has a 21:9 mode.
Yeah, 16:9 just looks so BIZARRE to me now.
What I did not understand why not 1440p 480hz in this dual mode? There are a WOLED monitor 480hz 1440p, so this panel is possible
Agreed 1080p at 32" is atrocious😅
Isn't it just because 4k is 4x 1080p and so they just converts 4 pixel into one (direct scaling). For 1440p to scale perfectly to a higher resolution, the screen will need to be 5k. That's just my guess though.
@@raikozy35 4k branded displays are 2160p resolution
Really awesome, I plan to get this as it's a great feature I like. Also matte. Still odd monitors not using full bandwidth DP 2.1 kinda shame. Also lack of max Hz BFI too, it's 120Hz only.
Matte is garbage. Imagine paying a premium price for OLED and then settling for a matte panel that degrades the picture quality...
🤣🤣🤣
@@PSYCHOV3N0M I don't want to pay so much and look at reflections all the time which is way worse then a good coating.
@@StaySic4EverDo you have reflections all the time on your OLED TV? I at least are not sitting at office when I am gaming ;)
@@laggmonstret I don't use a TV I use a monitor that is much closer to me than a TV would. So yes reflections are bad.
The game CHRVS is such a dope game!
Curious if the 1080p mode is sharp like an FHD monitor or blurry and streached like in 4k Tvs
check out 1:10, the black difference between LCD and OLED is just epic!
Not just that. The response time difference is noticeable with motion clarity. Contrast ratio too.
Do this on a TV or TV sized panel and I'd be interested.
Time to upgrade the 2080ti
next october-december with the new gpu line-up? the display is not coming before summer anyways..
The funny thing is, people really think a 4090 can do 4k 240hz......the GPUs for the next 5 years will catch up to these monitors
@@Roz2891 true true. I just got the LG G2 55 for $1000 with calman calibration instead of these overpriced monitors!
I'm looking forward to ~40 inch OLED bright gaming monitor in 2024...
Nice
I wonder if Calman Home for LG will support calibrating this monitor.
Hoping they update my UltraFine Pro to support 120Hz and 1000+ nits while still being color accurate for creative work
This channel has become an ad channel for LG
I'd love to buy one. But I have to work on it too, and not going to have 'gaming' monitor and a 'work' monitor. If there is a slight chance of burn in I'll have to move Excel sheets around the screen for 8 hours.
Did I miss the subpixel layout or is it not in the vid? Kinda excited for rgwb for text. Also does anyone use built in speakers who games? I don't know anyone doing this and I have like 10+ gamer friends irl
After I heard matt coating i left it. Thanks for video
If there is a option to switch in wqhd the monitor would be perfect. But it is a great step in the right direction :)
Looking forward to your coverage of the ASUS dual mode monitor as well.
would you recommend this monitor or the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM?
I am very curious about this panels colour, if it can match the samsung panel or even exceed (near backs, highlights, red etc.)
this would be a cool monitor to get. i dont know if i would buy it, so expensive.
maybe i can get one in a few years
hope theres a way to have a 25 inch mode and the rest of the monitor gets blacked out, so 1080p is usable
Finally. My eyesight is too good Ive been looking at a way to sear my retinas while I game. 1300 nits should do it. I want to have to wear sunglasses when I play games set during the daytime.
Any monitors showed or announced with a glossy screen?
oh, so switching between 240Hz and 480Hz switch between 2 sources? was wondering how that would work, that might actually be good thing
I'd really like to see a higher resolution on panels over 34". e.g. for 38" go with something like 3840x1600 like on the Alienware AW3821DW ?
3840x1600p is a dank resolution
Would hope he talks about the finish of the panel; how glossy or matte is it? I love glossy OLEDs
It's the same type of matte finish we've seen on the 27" WOLED panels.
2:35
Would hope you saw the whole video then you wouldn't ask that question. He said " the screen coating is ..............." in the video. Go watch it.
@@jjman533 I was hoping for more than just "the screen coating is....." I specifically asked "how" to see if there was a year to year change he may have noticed or was informed about; thanks for the input though.
Matte coating is a crime. Please avoid buying it.
Refresh rate and resolution are 2 different physical observances. Simple mistake anyone else catch? Hz is frames per second and resolution is DPI dots per inch.
I wish LG would just make a C4/G4 TV with this panel.
When does it come out??!
0:31 add a caption correcting urself saying "resolution" which should be "refresh rate" to 480hz or 480 frames per second
Finally some one covering this monitor 👏🏼👏🏼 I’m torn between this and the Asus QDOLED
I just got the alienware QD-OLED which has the same 4K 240Hz panel as the asus. I would definitely go for the asus because of the glossy screen and QD-OLED tech. Matte is horrendous.
@@HegoDamaskII is that the 32 inch Alienware that’s just launched ??
If so how are you finding it ?
ask lg about pricing for the 32GS95UE oled and possible pre order / release date
The 32GS95UE looks a little stretched, if so that's very cool.
What about the full screen brightness?
imo the c1 lg woled looks amazing i cant imagine how good this one would look, especially on a larger panel
Dough is putting Gorrila Glass on theiir Spectrum Black 32" which will be using the same panel. I'll wait and see how it is received (I don't dare to pre-order - it's not out yet), but it sure seems like the most interesting display with this panel since it among other things have features such as DisplaPort 2.1 and USB-C charging up to 100 W and a KVM switch.
Dough is not going to come out with that anytime soon. Dough STILL hasn't released their 27" Spectrum Black using the same panels that have been on the market for over a year. By the time they release anything the technology is already outdated.
@@jaketapper8910 Good point...
I currently have an LG 32GQ950B (IPS 4k@160Hz) and while its a superb monitor i am very interested in one of these OLEDs. A glossy coating would've been nice though. But yeah, very curious about actual reviews and i might treat myself towards the end of the year.
Why glossy? So you can wave back at the man visible in the screen?
@@Manbearpietglossy is far superior for image quality, in many respects, and modern glossy coatings are quite good at subduing reflections. So long as you don't put your monitor facing a massive window with sunlight beaming in, like an idiot, you'll be fine with a good modern glossy display. A matte display would also be horrible in such a situation anyway.
@@Manbearpiet its a matter of preference, and i dont have a light source behind me, so the reflections dont bother. The TV has also glossy finish and i am never bothered when gaming on it
I'm not 100% sure but I think the new models released by Samsung have glossy options, it was the Odyssey OLED G8 I was looking at as it's also 4K 240Hz.
If I remember correctly all QD-OLEDs have glossy panels.
If someone gets this kind of highend monitor, I'd hope they also get a pair of dedicated speakers or headphones...
Very excited for a new 39 inch ultrawide since I already have the 38 inch ultrawide. My ONLY concerns are the 800 curve and why the resolution is less than my current one which is 3840x1600. I fear these new ones will not be as clear since I mainly use it for work and reading documents with gaming on the side.
Yeah I agree. Been sitting on 38" 3840x1600p 144hz for a while now. I will pick up a 39inch oled from samsung or lg. Wish they made 3840x1600 instead of 3440x1440p but it is what it is :D
If you're mainly working then I don't think OLED is the right panel type for you.
Also what concerns you about the curve? I don't know about the 39", but for 34" 1440p, the ideal viewing distance would be 60-80cm, which means 800r is the ideal curve. You want the edges of the display to be at the same distance from your eyers as the center for immersion and best viewing angle.
@@anonymous8780 I get the curve but when you are looking at lines and specific data sometimes too much of a curve can skew data. I would have honestly preferred a micro led but how often have we gotten companies to make displays close to 38 inches and in ultrawide? At the point if my monitor stops working I will have no choice but to get an oled ultrawide. I take good care of my stuff so I’ll know what to do to minimize burn in or what have you.
Now stick two together to make 57" 32:9 and it's endgame
Why is the advertised dcip3 coverage (98.5%) above the advertised coverage of the LG c3 (97%)? Do these monitors have better colour reproduction than their TVs despite using the same panel tech? Are these monitors 10 bit native?
I'd prefer a hot button for 1440 @ 240 or whatever for more demanding games.
would've loved a 1440p 360hz as second mode instead.
this would be perfect if it also had a usb-c display output with /90w charging
This is the one! It's time to retire my 1080p 75hz monitor
@@7ngeldid you watch any of the video at all?
Why is there not a single new MLA display with a glossy finish?
damn i really do wanan get an OLED monitor now
Why this coating, why…
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FINALLY.... someone made a high RR gaming monitor that can also serve as a decent desktop / text monitor, with an OLED panel for superior everything.
So will this be much brighter than the LG 27GR95QE-B? I'm interested in knowing that.
Yes. If the SDR content can be shown at 250 nits, then it's a lot brighter than with 189 nits (normal use is between 100-200 nits). and in hdr content with the 27 inch was advertised 1000 nits, but could in reality only reach peak brightness 664 nits in 10% windows (monitors unboxed). if this one actually reaches 1300 nits in 1% and lets say 1000 in 10% windows then that is a huge upgrade! to me the question is if it can reach the same colour accuracy as Samsung panels...
Nice to see some Assetto Corsa Competizione footage out of nowhere on this channel haha, its a great game
my question is by pressing the button does it switch the actual refreshrate on your OS or just the screen
Lg could take my money if they did this in glossy panel
This may be the first monitor that's actually better than CRTs.
give consumer a choice for a glossy panel, too!
Now we just need to wait for the real pricing.
Price ??
