Let me tell you a story. I was at my editing bay one afternoon, three years ago, when I decided to create a Pink Floyd video performing one of my favorite songs, "Time". I wanted to bring together, even if by "video magic", the original members of my favorite band, so I downloaded videos of a performance by David Gilmour in Poland, another one by Roger Waters in Mexico and a third one, from "Pulse" (for images of Nick Mason). In a few hours the video was ready. It was just a tribute to Pink Floyd and an editing exercise. I uploaded it to RUclips, and explained in the DESCRIPTION that this was just a editing exercise. It was August 2017. So, three years later, the video has over 23 million views, something I could never have expected. For some reason, thousands of people were touched by the video in some way. But I was surprised by the amount of offensive comments I got; it was as if I had committed a "crime", as if my aim, from the beginning, was to deceive viewers. Even if I made it clear that the video was put together from different concerts, many viewers were offended. BUT there were also hundreds of positive comments, and millions of views. People who were touched by the music. And a lot of people who really believed that the video showed a "reunion" between Waters, Gilmour, Mason and Wright, even though it is obvious that they are at different concerts. Thank you so much to all of you who, like me, love Pink Floyd's music. This video took on a life of its own and I am always surprised by the amount of views and the reactions (positive and negative) that it entices.

David and Roger have most likely seen this video. You’ve given them both an insight on what a reunion what be like and how much it would mean to the fans of Pink Floyd. My fingers are crossed for an announcement in late 2021. I hope David and Roger hug in front of a global audience and take on the world again!!

This is the last song my father heard when he was dying in hospital. He had loved this song his entire life, it was symbolic to him. We were in his room to say our last goodbyes, he was already kind of unconscious, but we never know... I played this song to him from my phone. It was powerful, intense, and perhaps kind of relieving. It may have been my imagination, but in my memory he appeared a bit more relaxed during the song, and after it. I'll never know. I prefer to think that he listened.

I'm 55. Me and my friend were 16. Listening to this on his room with our first joint. We were soooo happy. Life went on. I moved to ireland, he moved to Argentina. Last year we met again after so many years in our hometown Bruges. We listened again, again with a joint after spool many years. And again we were sooooo happy. Nice memories. Understanding each other without words......

32 years ago while sitting in my car with friends smoking a joint, we were listening to this brilliant song, and the lyrics just hit home and fuelled my desire to not get stuck in our home town, I have since travelled and worked around the world....thank you Pink Floyd.

Its syd n rogers band to me always will be. The pink floyd sound. Sadly syds health seen him omitted. David had come onboard.....gilmour is the most competent musician, he is esteemed by all guitarists....but roger waters is the creative genius of pink floyd, by some. Their halcyon days saw waters write most tunes and the album concepts where his alone, he wrote wall alone, demigod. Dark side, wish you were here , aanimals and the wall are their best and waters is responsible for the overwhelming majority....after final cut......nnick rick n david never got near the waters stuff...delicate sound division bell, some decent tunes but inferior to waters
I agree that Pink Floyd songs will live on forever , long after music radio is gone i believe.
David Gilmour is releasing videos more and more now. As he said in 2021 he will be turning 80, and will not be able to give the shows / concerts. He just doesn't have the energy anymore to do concert after concert, traveling around the world. 2.5 years ago I walked out of a Roger Waters concert, all so political , to a point so left of center , in my opinion. Even though Pink Floyd was or touched on political drama of the times to David it's all about the music where Roger said it's all about the politics. And I believe it is why David won't ever play with Roger again. He is adamant not to. Sad that it has gotten this way, But I so understand Davids decisions.

Wow, I know exactly what you mean. This impacted me the same way 22 years ago, I broke out in tears. Such truth, such emotional pain, and you are right, the way Gilmour's guitar kicks in after those words touches your soul in such way that just illuminates the meaning to the fullest. This song will always have a special place in my heart.

My God. This song hit so differently watching them perform it when they’re old men. I’m so used to listening to this album with their young youthful voices, seeing how time affects a human being, while singing about it, really makes you think.

Just reunited with some old bandmates and instead of playing the awful stuff we did in the day we decided to play songs that we all love and time/breath reprise was the first song we went with. Dark side of the moon is an amazing piece of art.

I did not know that the ticking effect in the beginning was done with the bass, that is an amazing example of rogers timing because he never misses a beat on that
actually the ticking clocks on the studio recording were done with antique clocks recorded 1 by 1 and edited to make one track this track was the first to try out Quadraphonic sound, when you play it with headphones on you must have noticed? the sound is like swirling. brings a tear to my eye this song. Мне 38. Слушаю Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, перенял эстафету от Отца! Очень крутая музыка, сделана на века и такое больше не повторится. Простые дядьки, в футболках и джинсах делают вещи! Не короли конечно, как Киркоров, не скачут перед бабками, в стразах и перьях, но тоже ничего))))))))))))))

Their songs have been the soundtrack to my life, bringing comfort, inspiration, and joy through every moment. Seeing my daughter respond to Pink Floyd's music in such a positive way deepens my love for this band even more.Pink Floyd's music has always been a constant companion for me, and now it's becoming a cherished part of my daughter's life too. It's amazing to witness the power and timelessness of their music, spanning generations and creating beautiful memories. To me, Pink Floyd is more than just a band; they're a part of my life's fabric. I love and appreciate every member of the band and their contribution to music. I pray for their long lives and continued inspiration. My love and admiration for Pink Floyd will always remain, and I am thrilled to share this musical bond with my daughter. Long live Pink Floyd!

@@user-ii4kh8nc4i При всём моём уважении к ,,Иванушкам", скажу, что ни одна наша отечественная группа и на пушечный выстрел не приблизилась по профессионализму и популярности к Пинк Флойду. Собственно говоря, это видно невооружённым глазом.
Много незабываемой музыки вышло из 60 _ 70 годов приятно слушать до сих пор с этой музыкой переселяешься в свою молодость которую к сожалению не вернешь
