Sounds like a plan.
Yeah, I'm still leaning towards the Genesis GV-70. Would be interested to hear which one you would go with, Joe. The Lexus, Acura or Genesis, since you have driven all of them. Appreciate you. B
Thanks for sharing that great input. This competes with the GV80.
Hi Joe, What's Up!
We like the style we don't need functionality stop your moaning its not a race car and Lexus don't put unnecessary holes in their cars because holes mean noise, holes mean weakness in the structure why on earth would you put a hole in somethin if it don't need to be there! Oh and awesome review as always "on throttle"
it looks slow i would still go for the mdx
Maybe drive one
MPG is 17/21?? Same as the MDX Type S?
Pretty much.
Hey what's happening Joel I loved the body style and you've the big grill and the moonroof 👋👍🙂
Hy Philip! Thanks for watching man.
To get 366 horses from a turbo 4 is a lot for this size of suv. A NA V6 can’t do that. I’ll still take the mdx type s over this. You get my favorite they offer which is tiger eye and Acura is known for their amazing handling from their awd system
Well that is exactly a fair statement since this does use electric motors.
I think the four-cylinder Turbo Hybrid only make about 270 something horsepower. The total 366 horsepower and 406 ft pounds of torque is when combined with the two rear electric motors.
Much appreciation for the pedestrian view drive-by and extensive in car drive.
I have a 2011 RX 450H that runs perfectly- I was considering keeping it indefinitely, but after watching this, I'm going to trade it in for one of these bad boys! Thanks for the comprehensive review brother!
How’s the fuel economy of your RX45h, 11 yr ago when new compare to now ?
and you can start putting premium fuel in now.. big zonk for me
@@HumperMKB It averages around 21-22mpg, but on a good day, which is rare, I got it up to 29 mpg but that's super rare. I sometimes average 23-24 mpg.
@@twfinc6855 indeed-but all hybrid lexus required premium even the past generations
2022 is still regular gas-which is what I got lol
@@NSV610 only the turbo models needed premium, the NX for example. In this day and age when trying to get better efficiency and cost savings switching your models to premium is idiotic.
why is INFO LCD lagging so much? Toyota/Lexus seems to have this problem for GENERATIONS
Pre-production model.
if it had the V8 from the is500 now we would be talking
Good luck putting a longitudinal rear wheel drive bias powertrain into a transverse front-wheel drive bias chassis.
Sure it can be done, but because it is done professionally from the factory it require R&D so it is not going to be cheap to make it happen.
Oh heck yeah! I’m down for that!
Not gonna happen, there aren’t enough traditional Lexus buyers out there to justify the R&D cost. It would cost $70k and for that kinda money most buyers would go with a X5M or GLE 53.
@@jml9550 The X5M is easily an 100 car in today’s car market. The RX500h is already going to be 70k.
@@alh06 true. An high performance RX with the 5L V8 would be $80K+. Again, I do think there is enough buyers out there who would pay that price. Most Lexus owners are older and conservative for such high performance SUV.

Nice review!! 👍 Your review was in detail inside and outside … you actually used the paddle shifters 👍
