Great review Ryan ! We love our Subie’s, but just last night I was talking with my wife about saving up so that when my 2011 Rav 4WD Limited with a 3.5 V6 wears out, I’d like to replace it with a Lexus. I don’t want a turbo but a hybrid is a must. We live in the mountains outside of Cashmere and get 4-5 feet of snow every winter. My wife’s Outback is actually better in the snow than my Rav. For a Subaru Forester Touring is $39K and a Lexus NX hybrid AWD is $40-42K. So I told my wife that I’ll start saving $600 a month so I can pay cash for a new Lexus. We normally keep our vehicles for 15-20 years, so by the time I buy my next vehicle, my wife will be driving it after I’m dead and gone. Keep your great videos coming. Depending on how much snowfall there is at a time, the hybrid AWD system is pretty limited, speaking from a 2021 RAV4 Hybrid standpoint but the systems are pretty similar/the same. I feel like the rear’s instant torque vs the front wheel’s gasoline engine is mismatched too. Just my 2 cents

Or all modes are just for looks with no difference until the TC was off.
Compared to the Midsize Premium SUV segment, Lexus owners are more often women, are older, and enjoy a lower median annual household income. J.D. So what’s your point?
@@dykim9974 Lexus is a brand for older wives.
@@normt430now I want it even more because no youngsters are drag strip racing it and avoiding maintenance and repairs.
I’ll get it used, do the normal tire replacements, brakes, maybe suspension, and off we go.
@@normt430 I am 37 year old male entrepreneur and love my NX450+. Top vehicle and in general, an overall better SUV than the competition (for the same money).
I wish I could afford this 😢
Oh nice! It has a rear outlet in the trunk.i can bring my microwave oven when i go road trips! :)
No mention of the 6 piston front brakes lol
Drum brakes on the rear, why
I have a 2018 rx450h f sport. Horrible power. I don’t believe their numbers.
what are you talking about exactly? dont believe numbers from who? all reviews from the 500h is sub 6 seconds.
My experience says the car isn’t powered well at all. It is under powered
I think NIO ES6, ES7 are better than RX500H, the price is half
They’ve should put this powertrain to Highlander..
It’s supposedly coming for the upcoming grand Highlander
@@naveenthemachine absolutely
Why such a big monitor? Is it a car or a home theater?
You clearly haven't been inside a Tesla :P
The front looks like the new Honda Civic's. Sidenote: You're not seeing that many damn RX's, stop lying.
This or MDX Type S?
MDX Type S is more fun.
This has more tech, and likely will be more reliable. Type S with no touch screen and always shifting trans is a deal breaker, poor MPG too.
@@alphabeta8403 more tech? This doesn’t even have massage seats or air suspension. Not to mention the cheap digital cluster and the lack of seats adjustability. Plus I was asking the reviewer..
@@drivingsports that’s what I figured. Thanks!
No 3- row midget seats any more for RX.
Nicest interior.
Said no one ever. Gv80 MDX aviator grand Cherokee summit are all way nicer
Futuristic
Prefer V6 of last gen over the buzzy 4 cyclinder.
*Beautiful*
The interior looks great but the front just above the logo looks ugly … old design is good there.
22:28 Haha not so perfect California highway 😂
I am from Ukraine and I probably should submit some video with local highways. Especially with views how they looked ~5 years ago.
I can’t believe ford made this car
I have 22 RX and I would never buy a crossover again. It pretends SUV but missing all the good functional aspects of SUV. Small trunk and bent down trunk door hitting ceiling and your head when openned, which has to be lifted open even when you want to access trunk for small item.. second row seats do not fold all the way down to make flat space. With low ceiling, I find this annoying. I should have noticed bad design from useless tiny third row seat for the L versions. Plus, the gps is tedious to operate. For example, after you select destination, you need to press ok button two more times needlessly to start the direction. You have to lean forward to use the touch screen ddor 22 model.
Compared to the midsize premium SUV segment as a whole, Lexus RX owners are more often female (42% vs. 37%), are older in terms of median age (65 years vs. 58), and earn less in terms of median annual household income ($161,890 vs. $198,923). Just 23% of Lexus RX owners identify as members of Generation X, Y, or Z (vs. 43%).
ISN'T IT AMAZING HOW CAR COMPANIES KEEP CREATING AS THE WORLD CRASHES AND BURNS.
The world isn’t going to burn it’s here for another 3 billion years. Just people may disappear and maybe they deserve to.
This or the Acura MDX?
MDX hands down
Why does it always have to be a sport?
I agree. If you want sport buy a sports car!!
@johnablettbooth5691 or maybe people can just buy what they want. 🤷♂️
Hey, check out carwow RUclips channel for inspiration on how to structure/ build up a car review, talking about engine while showing the exterior of car is pretty off...good luck.
You lost me at approach angle on an rx
Acura MDX better go back to hybrid or Lexus will take the market away. And maybe even on the RDX.
there is no market for Acura, no one buys that junk.. there is a reason why Lexus sells the most SUV. if anything Mazda is the one people should be paying attention to.
Like the color, other than the naming it’s stupid, 500H? Illogical Lexus. I’ve left Lexus a while back!
No V6,No „LEXUS „
💯🤝
looks like e-car
such a good car brand with an exceptionally ugly designs :/
Hard pass on the coffin-like black interior.
So urgly
Wtf with the alarm sound on the background
Boring old person car 🤢
The competition is already much stronger than this. the RX is ugly up front the interior looks like a Toyota tech isn’t great powertrains are laughable, handling performance are not great, and the ride isn’t best in class. And it’ll be overpriced and fwd
A gv80 or MDX or aviator or even a cx9 signature are much better options than this
The performance RX is such a joke. It doesn’t even outperform a Toyota Camry v6
Never buy a lexus
Not this puddle Jumper at $75K!
All seems good …. But why does Lexus has to make the looks so unappealing … that’s a face that only a mother would love!!!!
The interior is gorgeous and looks great… so there is that!!!
It’s like Lexus is on a competition with BMW to see who puts out the ugliest car!!! 😩
I totally agree about the front grill! Maybe half that size so it doesn’t hang down toward the ground so far -looks like their trying too hard to “look tough”
They basically have morphed the spindle into the fighter grill like on a 10-year old Mitsubishi. And the back looks like Nissan. Meh.
