If you could possibly mention the competition at the similar price point as the car you’re reviewing in your video that would be great. Some people might argue paying 70k plus for an Rx is crazy when you can comfortably get into a rwd architecture vehicle for the price point.
Thank you for a great video. I appreciate your review on this vehicle. We are waiting for the fully loaded plug-in hybrid version to come out and I would love to get your opinion on driving that model I’m hoping that being a plug-in electric with a larger battery will give more power without the droning noise of the four-cylinder every time you take off from a light and with a 35 to 40 mile range that should cover our daily commute. We currently have a 21 ES 300 H and are looking for something taller with a plug-in hybrid, do you know when you’ll be able to review that vehicle? Thanks again for your in-depth review. We appreciate it.
As an 'ex-engineer and magazine editor', I was expecting more. This guy is just reading the spec sheet and offers no more insight than a homegrown RUclipsr with zero experience, much less as an engineer. Although he touched on the seat bolsters, he didn't emphasize enough just how ridiculous they are. They are incredibly intrusive, even for skinny people. Also, the 4-cylinder engine is probably as refined as it can be, but even Lexus can't alter physics; sadly, this is a rumbly, boisterous experience. However, the electric motors in the 500h work WONDERFULLY to smooth it out, and therefore may be the only model I'd consider. Lastly, this 4-cylinder is all new, it's the T24 motor. Some RX's will use the older 4-cylinder, the A25. Probably not a big deal, but we should know that. You can tell the different engines by seeing the different plastic cover in the engine bay.
'hey Lexus, set the temperature'... WHY??? There is a physical dial RIGHT THERE. A more apt example is using voice to activate something buried deep in the menus.
lol.... no.... they made a "quicker" luxury suv. Even their LC500 isn't what I would call a true sports car. Lexus is great at making reliable, quiet and comfortable vehicles. Performance and horsepower are not their forté.
Even their LFA isn’t an exotic car since it’ll get smoked by a 4 door bmw m5 or a model s plaid or model 3 performance or a Kia ev6 GT ioniq5N Taycan Turbo S
@@beri232 no it doesn’t actually. The rx500h does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. My family’s v6 Toyota Camry does 0-60 in the same time of 5.8 seconds So your argument is weak 😂
Some things I like, more I don't. Don't like the front end still, but not as ugly as the preceeding several years. Side & back look good. 4 cyl engine kills it for me.
No they didn’t 😂 The 500h is just embarrassing It can’t even outperform a rav4 prime or even a Camry v6 both of which can already do 0-60 in 5.5-5.8 seconds Yet the RX costs significantly more while still being based on a Camry platform Combine that with dated styling, poor handling, a Toyota grade interior, useless tech nobody asked for, cramped rear seats, lacking features, and the fact that it can get very expensive make the RX an easy nonstarter
Nah, you havent diven one, he did. this is even better than a gv70 or 80 hyndai cars. Those car were designed to be a little faster because it needs tp vet to the service fast when it starts to break
I purchased one of these, and I liked your ‘style’ of reviewing. Good job !
Awesome, thank you!
Cool seeing a bike fits. Car Confections measured the full rear cargo length to be about 77 inches.

Great in depth review
Thank you very much!
Get some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV tyres for much more grip. They transform the handling.

Thank you! I hope to get in a plug-in version sometime soon.

@@beri232 what i said is true
It’s not fast enough. Needs to hit 60 in under 5 seconds to be competitive with other luxury crossovers
The RX isn’t even faster than a v6 Camry or rav4 prime
@@naveenthemachinenah, this way better car than damry and rav 4 but I agree those cars are way better than a gv70
