I absolutely love that color! You know it's funny because back in the 1950s manufacturers were often using very vibrant and unusual colors on their vehicles and now we seem to be going back to that. I love it! The before and after are so dramatic. That car looks wonderful anyone would be happy to drive that.
And just the opposite is said too. A lot of pastels, flat or primer colors etc. back then and I laugh every time I see a battleship gray car or truck. No hate, some of these colors are good 👍

With this paint job, you have taken 'Wing-Wang' from teeny-bopper to SERIOUS. Please don't put on that wood spoiler or the funky decals! JMHO, your money, your ride!

Wing Wang Chung!! Electric vomit green pearl! Wooo! I will be doing a cold weather Expedition with the Glamour clear around the end of Dec or early Jan. Will make sure that first coat is light as you said. I do mostly rust repair jobs in the winter, but have had this one on my calendar a while. I use the panel heater to prewarm the metal on all my winter jobs and to help primers/clear dry
I need you to come to VA and help me figure out what’s up with my clear coat , I’ve run clear three times and keep getting pin hole type craters ! I’m totally out of ideas as to the cause my air supply has two 1/2” water oil separators then a descendent filter then a motor guard M60 filter element dryer still no dice Help!
Too thick of coats and not enough flash time between causing solvent reaction. Also try heating your clear in warm water. I do 30 minute flash between coats which most consider excessive but I’m spraying high solid and my stuff turns out great while they’re having to cut and buff 🤣
First coat should be a light / tack coat. Second coat is a medium coat and should have some dry spots. Third coat is a full wet coat but no overlaping panels because that’s when you will get a run 💯 of the time.
I sprayed yesterday did very light coat let it flash 15-20 minutes basically dry to the touch then again same thing looked as all was well then a medium wet coat on the third pass and same issue. I’m wondering if my air hose is releasing something? Last time I tried after failure I switched air taps to one that had no filtration got the same result. I’m cleaning with spray away then wax and grease remover this time I even cleaned a last time with isopropyl alcohol and water! I’ve tried three different guns a pro 88,Devilbiss pro lite and my DV 1 clear coat gun using a 1.3 and C 1 air cap. I always use an inline filter before the gun also. I’m really over cutting the clear back for the next try LOL! It’s getting to be the family joke! I took a break from the clear a few weeks ago and sprayed the inside of the bed with single stage no issues.
