Why would I want him back?! He broke with me for a reason, I was not right for him - he deserves to pursue what he feels is right in his life. Manipulating other people for your own purposes is toxic. It will be your downfall if you pretend to be another "new" person; becoming a new person takes time and during that time you must learn to embrace singlehood and not be thirsty and downright desperate.
