I as well told her that I’ve have something’s I need to fix within myself and some growing to do. I told her that I’ve prayed and hope one day she will give me another chance to get it right with our relationship. I miss her. I also told her that I know it’s a high possibility I could lose her forever and that I shouldn’t have played with her heart like that. I let my emotions best me. It’s been over a week and a half since the break up and last time I heard from her. I messed up , I feel shame. I know I can’t beat myself up too much and feel self pity. I’m just doing the little things each day to better myself and grow as a person and yet even a better man. Alex, when my ex made the decision to break it off he said, “I’m confused.” He said, “I didn’t want to have this conversation.” He knew it was going to hurt me deeply. I have maintained no contact from that moment on. I had actually started listening to videos about NC. I knew it was coming because he was pulling away and becoming less available. It has been 6 weeks. I think he may have been seeing someone before the breakup. I love him with all my heart. I’m getting stronger. We didn’t have big arguments, he just started texting less, being less responsive to mine, less available, etc. Whenever we were together, it was wonderful. The relationship lasted for 5 months. If there was an overlap of time with another woman, I understand that their limerence will have an impact but may work to my advantage. Will he miss me while he’s seeing her or not until their lusting phase wears off?
Alex, my wife of 22 years moved from NJ to Florida after our divorce. We’re still in contact and I told her after 2 months of her being down there that I made a huge mistake and I wanted her back. It hurts that none of these signs are existing in the relationship with my ex right now, he does not text or talk to me at all, he is pretty sure that we are very bad for each other(we had a lot of fights because of many external factors and immaturity that does not exist in our lives right now), he is not angry , very calm and composed that his decision to leave me is right. he does want to be my friend and said he would never get in a relationship with me if that is clear then only he would be friends with me. If he’s yours (divinely chosen by the creator for you) he can run to the ends of the earth and he will eventually come back provided you do the inner work and grow and learn to love yourself first.
She is lost and confused and has no idea what she wants. She wants space but yet wants to talk to me here n there, she looks at all my stories and I made a snapchat private story and she joined it. She has videos of us on TikTok, photos of us on facebook as well as instagram stories and tags. She told me she wants to self heal and focus on herself. She is not talking to anyone. I am in counciling to get my shit together and make changes that needed to be done. But she has no idea what she wants for her future and for herself. We were dating for almost 1.6 years and she ended it. She says she loves me and misses me and thinks about me all the time but at this moment the love isnt the same.
My ex and I had a beautiful Sunday at Disneyland after a period of not talking much to each other for about a month. On again off again for over a year. She starts fights on our weekends then we don’t talk for weeks. On the way back from Disney land she started another fight when I made a call I needed to get done. In the car. On my headphone. She started saying: oh, did 10:40 ”she” get all the info she needed? Are you going to get “her” the paperwork? Etc. it was a business call. I got angry and dialed the number back, she tried to stop me making the call, i moved the phone out of her reach, out it on speaker so she could hear the guy on the line and repeated the conversation. It was awkward from there. The next day she broke up with me by phone. Said she hoped I remembered her with good memories. Blocked me. A week later I posted a pic of me out with friends at a Bar. Within five minutes I had two missed calls from her. Now crickets. I don’t know what to do anymore. I love her. But all this insecurity, jealousy, and now broke up with me. I really don’t know if I’ll ever hear from her again. I’m in NC out of self preservation. Any ideas? I’m going crazy with missing her and want things to work but just…don’t…know…what to do anymore:( add in that i know there’s a third party, she has self professed mental issues, and we live two hours apart. I don’t want to lose her but am out of answers.
Hate to say it my friend but my ex wife was this way. Even when you prove you’re right they still punish you. It’s best to leave. Unless you are willing to accept this treatment. If you accept it then you’re not allowed to complain about it.

Leave that person alone point blank. Emotional maturity is the key to any long lasting relationship. If your partner would rather be petty and not communicate or acknowledge you they are telling you they aren’t the one. Wish I learned that sooner but I def learned it

Alex, I’m so confused. I initiated the breakup but regret it shortly after. I’ve tried several times to explain to him over and over again why I initially made the decision to step away, but he’s not acknowledging his part in this and each time he tells me he is still processing everything that happened when I asked for us to work it out. Idk what the future hold, idk if I will ever hear from her again or if I will get another chance. I’ve accepted that she most likely will not give me another chance or even be in a relationship. I am in counciling to get my shit together and make changes that needed to be done. But she has no idea what she wants for her future and for herself. My ex and I had a beautiful Sunday at Disneyland after a period of not talking much to each other for about a month. On again off again for over a year. She starts fights on our weekends then we don’t talk for weeks. On the way back from Disney land she started another fight when I made a call I needed to get done. In the car. On my headphone. She started saying: oh, did 10:40 ”she” get all the info she needed? Are you going to get “her” the paperwork? Etc. it was a business call. I got angry and dialed the number back, she tried to stop me making the call, i moved the phone out of her reach, out it on speaker so she could hear the guy on the line and repeated the conversation. It was awkward from there. The next day she broke up with me by phone. Said she hoped I remembered her with good memories. Blocked me. A week later I posted a pic of me out with friends at a Bar. Within five minutes I had two missed calls from her. Now crickets. I don’t know what to do anymore. I love her. But all this insecurity, jealousy, and now broke up with me. I really don’t know if I’ll ever hear from her again. I’m in NC out of self preservation. Any ideas? Alex, I’m so confused. I initiated the breakup but regret it shortly after. I’ve tried several times to explain to him over and over again why I initially made the decision to step away, but he’s not acknowledging his part in this and each time he tells me he is still processing everything that happened when I asked for us to work it out. It’s been a little over a month. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long for him to tell me if we’re able to move forward. I’m starting to think he’s just messing with my head at this point. He sent me couple love songs since the breakup as well.
