WOW that turned out great! Big success!😊 I have only played with the slicer.. still waiting for the printer, so never actually tried printing it. Thanks a lot for reference in intro. I am honored 🙏☺️
Wow the more I watch your vids more ecomplex I realize Bambu Studio is and how much more I need to learn to get the most out of it! I created a piece for work and have thought about selling them but have wondered how I could possibly customize them bc they are curved, think you helped me solve that! (If bambu has cute fonts anyway lol)
With every question I am learning a bit more and more and with an answer in the comments it shows I have a LONG way to go. lol. If you saw what I was doing before this....*shudder*, it worked, but was a mess. You should be able to install most fonts and it should import into Studio.(with some exceptions) Are you uploading vids too? Time lapse / designs?
@ashleys3dprintshop I've thought it about uploading timelapses since I find them mesmerizing but haven't yet. If I do I'd want a diff camera angle for sure!
Another easy to follow tutorial my friend. I have yet another request. Please do one on adaptive layering. I've seen multiple videos on it, but the way it is explained confused me :/ I know it's purpose is to lessen the jagged layer lines, but how to do it, step by step, confuses me. I hope you can help.
I think the partner application just showed up. I have mostly ignored it so far. Since this channel is a niche(3d printing) inside of a niche(bambu studio) I dont know how much reach I would get. lol. 😂 Maybe I'll drop some video essays or news drops to vary things up.
Which version of studio are you using? I tried this again with the latest version and it still works. But if you are trying to do it with parts it may crash studio or have unintended consequences.
Hello. is your text printing the same as your model? Without seeing your specific use case I can offer some recommendations. You should use the modify tool first Then color the text last. If you do the reverse, color, then modify it will not work. So in my example you can click the text on the left, then press the corresponding key on the AMS. (1,2,3,4...)

There are a couple of ways to do it. the long way found here doing everything in slicer ruclips.net/video/DxFQfYj-baM/видео.html And a newer way using maker world's maker lab, you just have to export out the stl. You my friend are awesome! Cut down a lot of manual futzing around in slicer. This opens up a ton of other options now. Thank you. 😄

@oljobo yeah I'll have to download some and try it bc I checked & the default fonts are kinda meh
Based on your intro, I say you are my hero. Thank you for your excellent explanation, the work and effort behind these great vid‘s.
The intro was a fun one. But that real thanks is due in the (pinned)comments. I just made a video. lol. Thank you.
Exactly the video I was looking for! Thank you
Thank you. 🙂Glad the video was helpful.
Another good video! Now how do you have text wrap on the top of the cylinder near the edge?

Thank you for the kind words. I can certainly take a crack at adaptive layering, uses and steps.
@ashleys3dprintshop I knew I could count on you lol. Side note, are you on Facebook?
@@CharlesDearingScroller Not at the moment. I have a barely used instagram though. 😂
Wow! Thank you so much!
Thanks again. I also released a newer video showing other text options.

Great videos. How about adding circular text to the top surface of a round object, like the cylinder/rod?
Haven't forgotten about you. Working on something that I was unsure would work but it is showing promising results.
Text modifier doesn't work like this anymore and I'm struggling to get it to work like this at all

My text doesn't show up as a different color when I change it, even after I slice it
Hello. There is typically 2 steps.
1 change the type to modifier.
2.Then change the color to the corresponding number on your AMS.
How about a way to curve text on a flat surface in an arc? Like the text on a coin or bordering a logo?

But holy hell, that intro was annoying.
