TPU 95A should be fine at a fairly slow speed, more flexible stuff will likely be more problematic? I have flexible 65a, 85a and 85a, filaments & for the very soft stuff the extruder tensioner will need to be relaxed as in my experience the softer filaments will just get chewed up in the gears otherwise. I would also not fancy trying to push very flexible filament into/aling the bowden tube, its likely to be hard work.

The "Generic TPU" profile has a "Max volumetric Speed" of 3.2 mm3/s. This results in a maximum print speed of 40mm/s with a 0.4mm nozzle & 0.2mm layer height (regardless the higher print speeds in the provided/chosen Process Preset, they will be ignored).

I printed 3 small items in TPU came out perfect shiny and just squashable how I wanted the 4th print and every print after are literally like a kitchen sponge , the first 2 layers look good and bottom layer shiny but the rest is exactly like a sponge , there is no strength to it at all it squashes exactly like a sponge , and is not shiny at all and looks like its not sticking right , there is no bubbling and seems clock up nozzle now aswell , can you help with this its TPU 95 aswell

I know that you mentioned you were using an old roll of TPU and that old roll had most likely absorbed a bit of moisture while sitting in storage but, does this mean that a roll of TPU in pristine printing condition would give one a cleaner surface finish than those shown in the models you printed in this video?
Those were some pretty rough finishes.

I accept that the AMS doesn't support TPU. Haven't tried any non AMS filaments yet so was interesting to see how it is done. Not sure you needed to have a spare AMS slot that is set as TPU as I think you can just add a 5th channel.
What however I am wondering is whether it would be feasible to automate the manual TPU feeding. What I was thinking of was something like a single MMU2 type channel that can push the filament in and then move out of the way. Automation would I guess have to be via Bambu Studio I suppose due to the closed nature of the firmware.
I guess it might work out better though to somehow just re-engineer one of the AMS channels - as this would allow mixed TPU/other material prints.

Yea you can use a 5th slot. I just used the empty one I had but I should have explained that better.
On the automation this is something I am working on 😉

@@c0mputer interesting - I wonder if that is a recent change or has always been the case. Will get some and try it. Ps/ Managed to get a mixed AMS/Non AMS print to work too - with a bit of manual intervention at each Non AMS change, and having to put a dummy filament i to the AMS - so i think there is a good prospect of multi material including TPU prints being possible with the BL printers, even for non AMS compatible filaments.

I was expecting to be able to use it with the print option but that only supports the AMS materials... Why isn't color 0 the filament on the aux hub hanger?
Second, can an AMS hub be used without a second AMS to feed alternative filaments like TPU and CF filaments?

With the Y the Material PLA feed or change do not work correct anymore. It feeds the Filament forward until the extruder, then after some seconds back, and forward, and back. Until it stops due to the error message. Sometime it works, somtime not. After disassembling the Y it works again normaly.

Ive used flexibles with one of my ams... i heavily modified it though. Been considering making some youtube videos because i also am starting to reverse engineer the ams and want to make a custom one by using an arduino to intercept the pins from the printer and trick the printer into making it think my ercf with 8 materials is 2 ams. Wondering if anyone has tried it yet
