So i been doing autobody for 30+ years now And for a older truck The raptor liner saves a lot of work of scratches And ugly stuff I am going with the 4 bottle with hardener with a matching tint Your work was perfect Only tip on applying it after the first coat which was too close to each pass is : 2nd coat further back And wider laps above the next pass = Zero lines in the coats ...Other than that she looks good

I did this to my Chevy Duramax but i bought the cans that you hook to a sprayer. I like it a lot don't have to worry about scratching or anything else.
I like the matte look, you did good with the rattle cans. I've got an old 1999 Chevy 1500 3 door cab pick-up I'm about to get ready as a hunting rig. It is white and would stick out like a sore thumb while coyote or hog hunting. I'm probably going to use the Raptor Liner in some sort of green and the matte finish will be great for night hunting.
I sprayed the bottom half of my Grand Renault Espace with truckbed liner 2 years ago. I got fed up of it being spattered in tar and tarmac from all the freshly-repaired potholes etc.
I shoulda got the raptor brand when i did my dodge but i cheaped out and got the gallon rustolem brand after about a month it turned brown and looked like crap you definitely made the right choice

I’ve used the kit with a compressor. After using acid etch primer, it did a great job. I like it because in the rust belt normal auto paint doesn’t hold up. I also would have taped the door handle
i did the grill and hood of my 94 jeep xj with Rustoleum mat black cause the clear coat was coming off 3 years ago and has lasted plus even has got a little flat in color gonna do the top clear coat starting to come off may do the whole thing later
I think you did a great job! And it looks good! Do you think it would adhere to fiberglass? I have a 20+ year old motorhome with a fiberglass front lower, and the paint is flaking off. I think this would be better and a lot cheaper than repainting.
You should matte clear it, that kind in the can without out the hardener will brush off. That's way it's not textured. Try the 2K version or shoot it with a Shultz gun at about 50 psi. I use the stuff you're using for touch up; Looks good though
Looks pretty nice tbh, esp for a rattle can. What is that applicator thing you had on the can? Is that a Raptor product or is it for spray paint cans? Also, is this Raptor Liner the same as the company we have up here in Canada?
I bought an ugly red ‘72k20 cause I need to tow my boat and possibly get to my aged parents in a summer or winter storm. Hate the color and am tempted to do this after seeing your vid. Update on how well it holds up???
Nice work ! Im going to do my 2001 Chevy but in white to match it current color. How did the colors blend in ? and streaks showing. Should I can-spray it or airspray it ! Thanks
Oh yea. That would look good. I can’t see any lines in it. If you have an air compressor it would probably be better to air spray it. But the cans turned out good. Just takes a little longer.

@@Steeles listen I know that sounded harsh. But think about it. Why do you take the time to do the prep work. Sand it down wipe it down all that crap. Then you make a mistake In the painting and you create an overlaping line. And your solution to fix it is. "I'll go back over it with a continuous motion" this is where my comment comes into play. Do you honestly think that the over lap build up is only going to accept the new spay where it's not built up. No. The reason there is a line is because that's where 2 coats have been sprayed.
