How is the bedliner paint holding up? Will it last or does it start to chip?@@JMRRebuilders
It has really done well. The only reason any of it that chipped is the chrome bumper because it was hit. Other than that, it's great. The only issue is I park under trees the majority of time, and because it is textured, it holds onto organic material that then leads to mold and other things. So have to scrub it or not, park under tree and keep in shaded area

I love that you sprayed the wheels as well. I've thought about doing that, but I was concerned that tire mounting machines would scuff it. How has your experience been with this?
Recommend having balanced before spraying. The orher issue is when you have them balanced in the future if they put front rim side weights can cause issues

looks great! I use raptor on my jeeps bumpers, and fenders. Did you notice a big difference using the adjustable gun versus the shutz gun?

Should anyone prime the truck first? I noticed you didnt. I am debating on doing tuis liner spray on my 2006 f350 dually, and i got that same 2010 front end on mine, lol. Love it. Any need for primer first?
I don't see why you would need to add that additional step. If you prep it right will do just fine. That's awesome love the 08-10 front end. Thanks for comment and supprt

Hey there. Thinking about doing this to my truck. I have no idea really of what I’m doing, what kind of sandpaper should I use and how do I mix the colors

Does it fade over time ? If it does fade could it be repainted without sanding entire thing again? Looks like it might protect vehicle from rust
the darker it is the more it is likely to fade. I am sure it has faded some. They say you can clear it and it wont fade. I believe just clean it and respray it but not certain. If done right it can help the vehicle but to be honest not sure it can protect it since the nice body is now coated. Also if not done right rust forms under the layer. Hey brother how you been long time no see. Hope your doing well. It has done amazing I FLIPPING LOVE IT. I maybe doing the 6.0 at some point it's amazing. The darker colors fade for sure. Also if you park under trees it can get stuff to grow on it. However I have only washed it twice ever. We used both the raptor for the black. We used custom coat for the tintable cause it was cheaper. They are made by same company. Good luck we love it. Glad your back man.

I would only be doing the bed of my truck, which is under a tonneau cover, but I want to make sure I use a quality product. I thought a couple years over the entire body of your rig is probably a pretty good test of durability. Glad to hear she's holding up and I'll be watching to see if you do a video on doing the 6.0 (I think you have a video on that one, I need to go watch it if you do!)
We do have a 6.0 video of us getting it. The family is good hope yours is also. We have a video somewhere on us doing just a truck bed and it is almost 5 year old as well as the green truck bed we did. The raptor is the best for the truck bed in my opinion

@adventureswiththegaut1718 are you doing 2 colors or just one color. We used 9 of the tintable and 3 of the black. The excursion wheel base is about the same. But you have a bed and it has the back. So will be close for sure. Good luck.

I'm about to do my 06 Burb in this exact same color combo. It looks awesome! I have to go all the way to bare metal though (water based primer from factory), any suggestions on how to remove all that as quickly as possible?

Ive been waiting for 3 weeks to do mine because of weather, it keeps raining. I heard that Raptor is not supposed to get wet for a couple days after you spray it. This video makes it seem like it does not ruin it. Hmm

It's a ford excursion. Largest suv ever made. Can tow 12k lbs and some models could hold 9 people. Thanks for comment and support

I have a f350 crew cab long bed I am going to be doing soon. you said you did 1 light coat on the whole ex with 4 bottles, How many did you end up using total? 8? or more? I will need a little less since I dont have that big roof to paint.

how much color tint do you need? amazon doesn't really say
3oz per mix. When you buy the tintable it is already filled to meet the tight mixture of hardener and tint. Good luck and let us know if ya need help.

So you guys did only 1 coat when noting the spray was light? Did you do 2 just not show it. I am doing a ram 1500 crew cab in a 2 tone. So I can get away with 4 quarts for top and 4 for the bottom.
We actually did a total of 3 coats. 1 coat is intial coat. Then apply a second and the third coat is a mist coat with higher psi and a further distance off of the truck to mist over coat. Good luck brother. Thanks for comment and support.

Esch kit does not equal a coat that's not how it works. We purchased 3 gal of tintable and only used 9 parts of the 12. We also ordered gal of the black and used only 3 parts of that gallon
We only used black on bumpers and wheels
The amount of people that sand paint and breathe it in w/out protection is just crazy to me. And I was raised on a farm where we were dangerous most of the time.

It looks gray but it's still bad to the bone.
It's grey on the body but black on bumpers and wheels. We love it for sure. Super easy and makes a great product. We did 3 coats total maybe we didn't include it all. Not sure what a zr2 bison is but would be sick no matter what.
Spend some money and get some real extension cords and the grinders won’t smoke. Those extension cords are fine for Christmas twinkle lights not for power tools
That might be the case but worked fine with the 7" grinder with no issues. We believe the issue was the fact we were using a 6" head on a 4.5 tool. Thanks for comment and support.

That is def a perspective. Honestly there are parts Im not happy with but that is our fault not the product. However it has now been a year and half and I still freaking love it. Would do it to anything that you want that more aggressive look and not worried about the pretty paint job

Ya think maybe we sprayed over the emblems on purpose. Talk about attention to detail it is an 08-10 super duty front end and has powerstroke badges. It's not a powerstroke so why not paint over them. Also it didn't run anywhere paint turned out great. We ain't professionals at anything brother just some friends trying to help others and have a good time. Seems like ya may need some happiness in your day home.
