I bed lined my entire duramax 5 years ago with that same product, with good prep it hold up great, I beat the crap out of my bedliner and it takes it. 💪🏽
Looks killer! Going on two years now with my Duramax and going strong 💪🏻
Bro. Ive watched a lot of your vids. How many bottles did it take to do the Duramax? I have a 98 Z71 with the Ext cab short bed.
Ted Burkholder mine took 12 bottles(3kits) total
How to you make it white
@@lifewithkeith310 the tintable raptor comes as white, you add the tint to what color you want it to be.
How much did it end up costing?
I raptor lined my old truck in my backyard a while back, the prep is tedious but the finished product is cheap and worth the money 100%
Just a Sugestion: I would keep the handles and the mirror housings black for some accents.
But either way it looks absolutely great, I love the color. Great Job!
Yup! I ordered both already 😏
@@BERTRAND85O Nice! Good Luck
Looks great. I used por15 too its great but remember it does not offer uv protection. Its basically like a primer that you HAVE to paint over. The sun will eat through it.
Inspiring...I will be doing my 99 Tahoe like this. Great job brotha.
Wow, you made that look easy. Looks like I’ll be buying this stuff for my truck.
Thats pretty much how I did my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 in OD Green. I would advise getting the tintable and tinting it black. I used both tintable kit and black, when I sprayed my truck, truck bed and bed caps in black it was way runny compared to the tintable. I also felt like I got way more coverage with the tintable. I sprayed at 45psi and used 8l on the entire body of my truck. Its pretty thick and has an nice texture. I used a black 4l raptor liner kit on my truck bed and it feels thin, coverage wasn't as good and the texture is different even though I sprayed it at 45psi as well. Once I get back to work I will be picking up another another kit of tintable to go over my truck bed again as well as an extra 1l to even out one or two spots on the body that are a little darker then the rest of the truck.

Enjoyed your vid. Once upon a time I came across a study about why golf balls are dimpled. Turns out it decreases air drag. I think the same concept is true for this type of finish.hoss!
Looks sick with those tires and grill. Bet your glad you doubled down on the prep work, results were awesome
Old School American Pickups (no matter the make/model) are the sexiest thing on four wheels. The Olive drab finish, absolutely murdered out! congrats. Love it.
Thank you!!
How many bottles did you have to use for the whole truck
Dude, amazing work. I’ve been looking for alternatives to a new vinyl top (they just get trashed immediately) for my 72 Deville, and I think I just found the obvious choice!
Just a heads-up: those cartridges you had on your respirator are only rated for particulates, not for the vapors coming off whatever is in that paint and it’s catalyst. I know it’s another $20 for the organic vapor cans, but it’s well-worth protecting yourself.
How many bottles to do the whole truck? I wanna do the same thing! Looks amazing by the way 😎
Looks awesome. I have been thinking about doing this to my truck. I have dings and paint smudges from other people tapping their car doors into mine, in public.
My dad recently bought an '87? 442 (T-tops etc). Previous owner blacked out the entire car. Tbh, it looks badass.
Looks like you added 6 inches of military grade armor plating. Looks really epic
how many bottles did it take to do the whole truck? was it just the 4 included in the kit or are extra needed?
That turned out sick. I think it looks better then new from the factory, plus way more durable. Great job 👍👍
Thank you bro
I like the poor15😢 as well. On a quiet day, you can hear rust cry. 👍🏼
Yeah man it’s great!
First? Btw love the content. Road to 100k your deserve it
Appreciate that! 👊🏼
I like it alot, it looks really good, I did something kinda similar on my project jeep. Except I did the desert tan. With army logos
I got tons of pinstripes due to brush on the trails ,thinking of bedlining my 2nd gen Tacoma this exact color it looks sick👀🔥
DUUUUUUDDDEEE I love it !!!!! , You MUST call it Beetle Bailey . I’m going to give my rear bumper and diffs , springs a splash of black paint . Again bro it looks KILLER !!!! . Cheers
Thinking of doing the same to my 2001 GMC Jimmy. Thanks for the vid. 👍👍👍
How many likes for the duramax to get a bedliner paint job?
How many times did you have to fill the sprayer?
What size compressor did you use to power the gun? What kind of solvent is needed for cleanup of the gun after use? Thanks for posting this, it really looks great!
Nice video - just to confirm, this the the OD green or the lighter green? Hoping to do my M1009 soon. Thank you!
About to do my 2002 xterra in 0D green with same kit. Then I plan on using just regular krylon camo paint to finish off the woodland camo look.
Love this stuff, I sprayed my dodge Dakota using a bright red tint. It turned out great
Did the red tint come with the kit?
@@MohamedHamed-ei7ns i ordered a kit on amazon that did
Jake McKeen could you send me the link to it?

look at it on my insta @15_6.7cummins scroll down a bit it looks amazing
Quick question buddy I have a long bed I wanna do my bed on the c10 how many cans do I use 4 or 6
So how much did it take? Was it just the one gallon that did it all?
I guessed military green do I get a key tag?😂
I’m looking into bed lining my whole truck. Do I have to sand any of the paint? Very good video though
FYI POR 15 is not UV resistant. You have to cover it with some sort of topcoat... Below off their site.
"
POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating requires a top coat only if exposed to direct sunlight.
For topcoating use POR-15 Top Coat or POR-15 2K Urethane industrial topcoat. For best topcoating results, apply the top coat before POR-15 Rust Preventive coating dries. Topcoat should be applied while POR-15 Rust Preventive coating is still tacky.
To topcoat cured POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, lightly scuff surface with sandpaper or use POR-15 Self Etch Primer to create a bonding surface for topcoating.

How’s it going man, I’m looking into doing this to my truck as well. Question, how many pouches of the green tint did you need to buy? Is it one per gallon?
Hey man I absolutely love your Chev raptor lined! I’m planning on doing this to my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If I purchase 1 kit from amazon, will I have enough for a full body paint job?
I did my 98 ZJ, you'll need 2 kits.
Motor Fiendz yes!!! Thank you! You’re a god! I have a 4.0 straight 6 ZJ.
So I’m doing my 97 ZJ and all this is new to me. What grit do I use when sanding off the paint? Also is there a primer to use before bedliner? Is there a top coat for the bedliner?
Did you use the whole 1 gallon is it enough for the inside of the bed to
I want to do my f150 but also the camper shell, fiberglass; is that doable?
AWESOME looks great I have a 86 c 10 I want to do this to the exact same color so happy I found this video
How's it going up? Any pics of the truck current
Hey man that looks sick!! I’m hoping to do mine this summer. Where did you get your olive green tint color?
Looks amazing but now you need to paint the grille and the pushbar...
What brand of tint did you use? I'm going to line my gmt400 in the same color.
Miliissued vehicles are painted with CARC paint. Chemical agent resistant compound
What size of air compressor did you use (gallon)? thanks.
Did the kit come with the color or where did you get that from?
Truck looks great! With this many subs you should be using compression on your master audio tracks fro your videos, video quality is great but your music is real loud and your speech is really soft, trying to listen to your instruction and then getting blasted with music when it comes in. Not bashing, just wanted to give you a heads up, compression will bring all the audio in the video within a decibel range and help get rid of crazy volume fluctuations.
I appreciate the input man!
How many CFMs is your compressor to spray it?
If you flip over the container where the spout is on top it will drain better without the googling that it gets
Looks minty bro! good work
Looks awesome! Nicely done 😎
Can you go over top of paint?
Looks great!! I want to-do this with my 2004.5 LLY. How was mixing the color?
So the only thing I would worry about is it holding in moisture under the liner after it drys and causing rust. I live in Ohio and have seen a lot of people with it. I have highly been debating doing this to my 2018 jk rubi. branches keep scratching my jeep. its horrible. any advice?
Did you have to buy the tint separate? I want to spray my truck white.
The music in the background when you’re sanding sounds like the instrumental for Slo-mo-tion by Marilyn Manson, not gonna lie, I was hype
I’m thinking of doing this but maybe a different color on my 2006 Subaru forester. It’d look awesome
You should do a 3, 6, 9, and 12 month update to show how the Raptor liner holds up in the Florida weather.
Great idea
"how it holds up in the florida weather" Uh, does anything not hold up in the florida weather?
where did you get the green tint?
That came out sick!!!!!
Looks awesome bro. How hard is it to get off if you want to re- do it in the future? Thanks. 👍
great. will do my 96 7.3
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!
I am going to do same thing with same color with my 02 Silverado when I can find a straight clean bed
how is the paint holding up? i wanna do my Excursion in OD Green and Black...
Bad ass bro! Ganna do this on my 2000 yota tundra 👍🏻 thinking either green or Sand brown
Can u tell me grit you abraded with prior to laying liner thanks
Looks awesome dude
Awesome job buddy I might have to try that to mine but do they a a white for color?? I’m really wanting mine white because that was the original color of the truck and the a fire department baught it brand new and had painted it yellow in color witch I absolutely hate!! Let me no if a guy can get the raptor liner in a white color??? Thanks again buddy and I’m absolutely loving the build for sure!!!
nice job I be doing the same color on my ford ranger
where did you buy the tint paint from??
Is there no over spray and dusting like paint has?
Little bit. But it’s a dream to work with
These are personal preferences: Loose the music or at least cut the volume. If you are going to hand-hold the camera, get a stabilizer. It’s hard to watch the jerkiness. Great info. Thanks for your efforts.
Wanna put a clear coat on that por15. it fades and chokes in the sun.. put the stuff on my 1972 gmc Frame and it chocked where the frame was expose to the sun :/ other wise I love the stuff also super easy to work with indeed 👌🏻
This coming year I'm also doing my 03 chevy 2500 and lift kit both my heavy duty bumpers and all military tan with black lights and grill and custom black headache rack and custom badges under the 2500 that says patriot edition
Where did you get your tint color from?
what size compressor? Also man what psi ?
Generals looking good!
The nozzle just hooks up to an air compressor?
For my whole truck should I buy two kits or am I fine with one?
Should have took the mirrors off, door handles…would have looked much cleaner. But all in all good job
That came out awesome!!
Thanks man! Pretty happy with it
@@BERTRAND85O Where did you get the tint?
Was this your first time doing this? Looks👀 great!
Wait how many cans did you use
Where do you get your materials for a $100 bucks? Most 8 liter kits are like $300? I’d appreciate it as I’m looking to do my super duty.
@BERTRAND850 can u tell me where u got the od green tint? How much to use per bottle? And exact color number if u have it? Im looking to do this exact color. Any help appreciated
I bought the whole kit on eBay.
@@BERTRAND85O truly thanks for the response. So did the od green tint come with the kit cause i cant find a kit with the tint. I can find the kit im just looking for that tint. Great vid btw keep it up
Thank you! Yes it came with
@@BERTRAND85O ok thanks ill see what i can find
Where did you get your color you used at?
DALTON! it looks sick!!!
what air compressor did you use
Where can I buy the tint if I am looking for a specific code (calgary blue for 4Runners)
Okay so since its been a few months now...how do you like it? I live up in Canada and plan on doing this or getting truck line-xed, after I get the dent repaired this winter?
It’s held up great man! Do this and save the money bro
@@BERTRAND85O Perfect! Thanks for the response man, love your videos!
@@BERTRAND85O any tips on waxing or adding protectant i hear 303 is good to keep liner paint job looking good
I looked up the kit, I dont see the option to add which paint color I want
Well done looks great!
How is it a year later? I'm considering doing this to a 91 gmc I just got.
Still perfect!
How much did you use for your truck?
so its only one coat?
What psi did you spray it at? Going to be doing hotrod red on my ram
55 👍🏻
Thanks man looks great 👍
Instead of Por 15 you should honestly look into this stuff from Magnet Paints it's called Chassis Saver. Magnet also has Monsterliner which is almost the same as Raptor with many color options.
Have you ever worked with the magnet monster liner?
