Thanks for the video dude! It's been ages since I've done a roof and I think it was a hand cut one at that so it's helpful to give videos like this a look over ahead of doing a truss roof in a few weeks with a few helpers.
Top video mate thankyou really gives insite simply and effective. Do you have any information on those noggin straps? Never seen that before, what product is it?
Hey man, @ 23:20 jack explains the metal bars and what they’re for. Due to the timber shortage, prefab frames are coming with those metal bars instead of noggins 🤦♂️
If your looking at some video ideas U could do a video on first day as a apprentice how to act, how to look all those small things no one talks about on your first day on site If I was starting my apprenticeship again I would of like to know these things at the start
I’m an apprentice and my boss was 30 when he started his apprenticeship and a lot of people at tafe are about that age so definitely not, if anything employers just expect more from you as you cost more so you will need to be able to pick stuff up quicker
@@Jack_martin if you work in Victoria regional so i am interested to join your team if u like and i have 2 year experience in house framing i worked in mostly Melbourne west suburbs
Didn't realise health and safety was that bad in Australia, in the UK the plot would be scaffolded around the outside of the plot and decked on the inside so you could just walk everywhere. What would happen if you fell off the roof and broke your leg or your back? Especially on a Sunday, the company in the UK would probably end up in prison. Think id be 2nd fixing if I worked there.
13.40 oh man i know exactly how you feel ... our crane driver didnt put materials on first floor as well had to carry all LVL yellow tongues cement boards and timbers by hand ... bloody prick 5min work for him and couldnt be bothered
@@bradensinclair9517Not really. Anywhere you go in the world people will swear but when you’re making an educational video the swearing distracts attention away from the content of what is being said. I got a bit tired of hearing the unnecessary swearing also. Not offended, just annoying really.

You seem like a good bloke mate. Hope you make a lot of money. Do you ever see yourself in building or a developer?
How heavy are the Akribis Leather bags? I want a pair but the weight scares me since I carry heavy and don’t like suspenders

I would loved to have viewed all of this but the vulgar foul mouth profanity was so unnecessary and got old really fast.
