What’s happening with the peoples tool?
As a first year chippy apprentice from Sydney I appreciate you posting vids like this, I've watched all your carpentry videos and learnt heaps, Cheers brother
agreed. very informative vids!
Appreciate the support mate!
Drink every time jack yawns
I can’t tell if it’s a nervous twitch on camera or I actually yawn that much 😂
Hey mate, enjoy watching ur vids... Im a chippy n we do a fair amount of drilling for stumps... if you drill your hole much as you can, drop your auger back in the hole, put pressure down and spin backwards, stop, take the pressure off the auger so its touching the bottom but not trying to drill further and do a handfull of spins forwards... 95% of the time you wont need a hole cleaner to clean the bottom out, specially in clay...
Will give it a crack cheers mate!
Great video mate thanks for sharing!
Sick little vid, I plan on doing a little extension myself like this one day. Keen as for the build series!
I like work interior go to australia😅
Farming work experience 5yers
Nice
Good video Jack, always find your stuff interesting and helpful. Is the glue enough to hold those slabs together or is there a mechanical fix that helps it when it's installed?
Where’s my refund Jack?
Where my refund
Working on it mate, taking me sometime but getting there
@@Jack_martinAppreciate it mate. Not sure how long other people have been waiting, but order was 3/8/23 for some suspenders etc. just saw your update video. I appreciate you copping it on the chin and sorting it out personally, will believe it when it’s in my account though, cheers mate.
Музыка бьет по ушам . лучше слушать стук молотка и жужжание пилы
Lets say I know fuck all about tools or anything to do with the trades. What would my chances be at 27 ditching my current career as a nurse to be a Carpentry apprenticeship?
Just had to retire my akribis bags and switch to diamondback. Theyre so fucking heavy. even with suspenders... crippled me.
I am writing to express my keen interest in the ceiling installation position at your company. I possess over ( 15 ) years of extensive experience in this field and am seeking a new opportunity to contribute my skills and expertise to a professional team.
we need a yawn counter
Akribis is number #1
What’s the difference between green and yellow tongue flooring?
Appreciate the content brother
Love the videos mate 👌 great insight into running your own business and as a fellow chippy it's great seeing how you deal with day to day dramas
Keep ‘em coming Jack!!! Definitely interesting to watch!!!
Do u have carpentry job
That location at the end of your clip with the Lucas mill looks amazing. Is that in VIC?
Yeh mate! VIC
Love these vids bruz keep them up
Cheers mate
Thanks for sharing mate, definitely find it interesting. Was just thinking it looked like good deer country on your drive through, what a job to be able to hunt and work at the same time almost!
Has its perks!
Should put some effort into repaying all the people you’ve grubbed from your other business still waiting for my refund
I dunno how much of my stuff you’ve followed along with but I somewhat regularly mention my mistakes with the tool co and how I’m still working though them
Give the man a break. Don’t know the backstory but seems like a decent hardworking man
@@kierannally27appreciate it mate, I’ve made some colossal mistakes, but hard work cues all eventually!
These real and raw videos are where it’s at!!! 👌
Need some more guys so u can sheet them exteriors before standing them
What if the length of the wall isn’t equally divisible by 450 or 600?
Have an odd spacing on the end
@@Jack_martin legend thanks 🙏, I was a bit confused because I’m doing a course at a trade school and was told to split the studs evenly but it seemed counter productive after seeing your videos where you mark out standard spacings, thanks for your help man
Hey mate thanks for sharing that video. Fair bit to take from it for someone wanting to startup. Small consistent wins and trying to contain losses to one day are definitely things for me to remember. On a side note you know you've made it when you finally got yourself a merc 🤣 truck looks pretty tough.
Haha I’m moving up in the world 😂
Didn't realise health and safety was that bad in Australia, in the UK the plot would be scaffolded around the outside of the plot and decked on the inside so you could just walk everywhere. What would happen if you fell off the roof and broke your leg or your back? Especially on a Sunday, the company in the UK would probably end up in prison. Think id be 2nd fixing if I worked there.
Have some pride in your Ute brother, might not mean a lot to you but everyone’s first impression of you is what you rock upto site in
It looks normal
Hey mate, do some carpenters focus on framing more than others? that definitely interests me the most
sheesh whats with 2 songs playing at the same time ?
Pretty sure you pushed out a fart on that first lift.
Hey mate what jeans are those?
When did you start logging
Keep the vids coming
I give a tip ,when the tape recoil back after the measurements put your finger to stop the hook get hit hard , because after 2 months the hook get damage
What is a good carpenter work ute
Unimog
Great content
Depends on the $$ you're trying to dish out. you cant go wrong with a hilux. Any model expect workmate idk people that drive them
Great wall or ranger
Nice work keep up the good work and you will go far
I’ve found that if you get your bit stuck just get your normal drill and put it in slow speed and then reverse. Works really well
Are you in the owner of “people’s tool co” ? That dodgy business that scams people out of there money with zero replies to emails and seems to have just disappeared?
Are you in the owner of “people’s tool co” ?
I’ll also add it would pay to have decent locks and insurance to cover your tools. Too many cases of blokes getting robbed these days. Can’t afford to not have your tools boys
I’d call this “amateur hour” set up
Hahah agreed what a mess
where did all your apprenctices go?
Mostly out on hourly rate for other builders
Would love a more detailed video of the layout station
Hey bro, nice video. Just wondering what exact Milwaukee line laser is that? Cheers
You beat me to it mate. I assume it’s some sort of 12V
Another great video thanks Jack. You might have to start a business coaching venture specifically for carpenters and add that to your repertoire. Great content!
Haha the academy of jack’s stuff ups and how to avoid them haha Appreciate it mate!
