Very very clear and good video sir. I hope I will stay in contact with you. I bought exactly the same car but have a lot of problems. Today I changed the headgasket.
eSaabparts website is great for figuring out the names of parts and getting information. They have full schematics that help you choose each part. Even if you find the part cheaper elsewhere, eSaabParts is great for learning about your car.
There's one way.. Old School. Remove it and try blow air through it. It shouldn't be possible from one or the other way. Can't recall now which way it is .. ☺

I’m sorry, bud, but that was some of the nicest video I’ve seen here, but most of the time your hands are in the way, and the lack of narration….this isn’t the video I would use. But most everyone that commented liked it, so maybe it’s easier to tell than I found. But I mean nothing negative- I would really, really like to use your stuff (the clarity!!), I’m just giving my feedback.
@@1aikane I was just thinking, since everything works fine. The car runs fine, maybe it just thinks that it's not warm enough to warm the cabin? Do your engine temp gauge go up to the middle?
Hey. No I kept it. I have just put too much money into it. I wouldn't get that much money for it. So I drive it during winter times and every now and then. Maybe in the future I can let go of it if I know it will live on in great shape.
It´s pretty obvious your not a ,echanic given how "careful" you are. and tbh even before you change the valve you always check the hoses for cracks leaks etc. But a good job done.
Yes when I was watching the video myself I think I was a bit to careful. 🤣😅 The hoses were actually in good shape but you never know.. And yes I'm not a real mechanic. 🙄😔😁 Thanks for watching.
should rename this video "My left hand" No reference to what this part does, what issue arises when it goes bad, how to test it nothing. And it was supposed to be a Tech2 video. What the heck?
This is probaly the best I could dig out for you. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowoff_valve The Fault code points either at the valve itself or at the vacuum hoses. Since the hoses were updated just weeks before this it was the vavle that was bad. It went bad one year later. The only one that last is the original one. One could put one end to the mouth and blow like there's no tomorrow and if it's open it's broken if rememeber correctly.
@@TechCars From E-bay of course ;) Those are sold in Britain and in China. I purchased mine from a Chinese seller. It came with a 500GB hard disc with Windows 7 32 bit and all software needed to work with MDI 👍 The original MDI costs something like 1350 € but the copies are less than 200 €. Mine costed a bit over 200 € with that software hard disc 👍
@@TechCars No, I haven't connected it yet since my TTiD is at the garage to get heat seater replacements and the replacement of the oil pump O-ring. Your left hand looks really good bro
When connecting the silicone hose towards the back wall is that a easy fit and exactly where do that hose go
You should check out the video from TrionicSeven. I think I put a link to it within the video. Have a look. BR SaabCars

tip
use velcro on the end of your pliers to keep them grabbed on your ring.
so you can use your spare hand.
Can someone tell me the name of that silver pipe he is holding? Mine broke :(

Yes they would. 👍😁
is original okey even if its tuned from 185 hk to 245?
Should be. I have the aero and that's 250bhp, but I guess there are others that will hold up even more. Have you found a good alternative?
