    At the end of the day it comes down to the user, regardless of the type of spraygun. You just proved that you can achieved great results even with a knock-off spraygun!😄👍 Great review at an affordable price. Can only imagine what type of spray guns were used back in the days without modern technology and still made it look damn good. So good the paint still remains on the classic cars. Thanks for another great review.

    Looks like it would be a good hobbyists gun? Then again.. I'd recommend getting a easy to use gun like a Prolight even if you only do it for a hobby, a good gun will be worth every penny. There's an Iwata knock off ( in the states at least ) called Pro-tek that actually sprays well, but as with cheap guns they don't last more than a year or 2.

    Hey gunny , things I learned from buying these fakes is, they usually are meant to only look like that actual gun it’s coping but exact specs are usually different , I bought a fake gti pro and the needle and cap where different than an original , not to mention the machining was not up to par. Further more these copy companies don’t stand behind thier product you basically get what you get rather good or bad. I’ve purchased fake Sata 5k and the spray pattern was tiny in comparison to the original Sata 5k rp, no where near the volume of paint the original could produce. Over all it’s basically free marketing for them, they know it will sell based on the sheer look of an original , the originals credibility in the trade , and reputation. I stopped purchasing the fakes because over all it injures the original manufacturers reputation. I’m still curious as to how copy cat guns still flood the market with out any legal responsibility.

    • @nutzdeez5748
      @nutzdeez5748 3 года назад

      All the pieces of the guns are cast in China and depending on the quantity ordered foundries will sub-contract either all or a portion of the order out to another foundry...thats most likely where the knock-offs would be made. The original order get shipped to wherever the headquarters is located
      I.e. City of industry, California, where they'd go through a quality control process, (parts that dont make it past here are sent back) those that do pass but might have small imperfections from the casting process are corrected before they go back through Q.C. then they get assembled into a final product.
      Its BECAUSE a compamy does the Q.C., the casting correction + the assembly within the USA that they can legally claim its made in America.
      When its just the assembly of it in USA, well then thats what it says, Assembled in the USA

    I always find it hard to swallow paying so much for a quality gun when a cheap gun that costs 1/10th as much will do a good enough job that you really can't tell which gun was used. I mean, don't get me wrong here. I will (and have) paid it. But what happens when some manufacturer produces a gun of equal quality and charges 1/4 the price of a high-end gun? Has that possibly already happened? And yes, I'm also taking into account things like warranty and replacement parts. If anything, parts for high-end guns are also needlessly expensive. When you look at it, these guns aren't really all that intricate. Some good materials and attention to detail during the machining and finishing process is all that sets it apart. Yes, that's worth some extra cost, but not to the extent they're charging.

    To be honest, when you buy a Chinese gun, make sure they don't have plastic or rubber seals behind the air cap, there are a lot of good guns that are cheap and spray better than the devilbliss spray guns, there's Avalon, atom, just to mention, I mean I bet half the parts of a devilbliss spray gun are made in china, coz everything nearly comes from china, a good painter, can make any gun work, I painted for over 28 years and seen a lot of guns, ime sorry if this offends anyone, but there are a lot of guns that are overrated, and some prices are ridiculous, for a good gun that's not right up there like data, ide go a ANI, Avalon, atom, sagola,nordsmen, walcom, just take your pick, hope this helps, and please please gunny, can you not mentioned devilbliss, and spray guns direct in almost all your episodes, regards John

    The parts backup for a copy gun will be non existent.
    You will be throwing that gun away in time, as only a small part that goes missing or needs changing will not be available and now you are stuck with a shining write off.
    Chinese knock offs are just that, stolen knock offs. No parts, no support, go and buy another one. That is what they want you to do. Just go and buy another one.
    In the long run, it will bite you on the backside. Years to come, you will need something like a small part, and you will not be able to get it. Your body shop will not have it. Chinese company by then moved on and stealing and copying something else.
    Do not entertain the idea of a chinese copy. Down the road, it will bite you on the backside.
