Why did the Xeno save her from falling? because it needed her to bring back to the hive to make more xenos, and there was a facehugger nearby to impregnate her, it shows how smart the xenos really are.
@@IamNinjaOfNinja Xenomorphs have 3 main "Directives". 1: Acquire a living host to create more xenomorphs. 2: Protect the hive from threats. 3: use the bodies of slain threats as a food source. Think of it like the Predators code of honour but without the Honour part. If a target is unarmed and not a threat then they will be taken to the hive or if a target is a threat but can be facehugged they will take the opportunity and aid the facehugger. If the target is a threat and there isn't an opportunity to impregnate them then they will be killed to protect and feed the hive. Bjorn was a threat and there was no facehugger nearby so he was killed. Tyler was impaled and thus useless as a host for the same reason as Kay but was still a threat so he was promptly killed. When Rain fell she had no weapon and their was a facehugger nearby so the alien went with its main instinct of continuing the species. Andy was seen as a threat but not taken as a host since he is, in the xenomorphs eyes at least, no different than a turret gun or some other autonomous weaponry making him a threat but not a viable host.
I loved this movie and how it brought the horror element back to the franchise. I hope it'll have a two-pronged effect and lead to the last chapter of the Prometheus/Covenant storyline, and maybe with the success of the new Predator movie and another on the way, I wouldn't say no to a new AVP if place in the right hands.
You were correct. The offspring creature was a real person in a full biology prosthetic. His name is Robert Bobroczkyi and he is a former Romanian basketball player at over 7ft tall.
The lines i heard from other previous Alien movies in Alien Romulus : Alien 1979 - I can't lie about your chances, but you have my sympathies. By Ash. Aliens 1986 - Get away from her, you b*tch. By Ripley Alien Resurrection 1997 - Die, motherf***ker! By Johner.
Love your reactions. I feel you two are the realest and most hilarious with your unique commentary. I wish you both&your families - great health and fruitful careers in what they love. But before I - the only survivor of this comment, signs off, I gotta know one thing playboi: where is the “Alien: Romulus” Popcorn bucket playa play? (Ed Lover voice) Come on son. Peace.
I liked your video after your introduction because you seemed cool and then i subscribed after watching the reaction because it was a great time. Looking foreward to more!
Just to point out, Alien Romulus isn't among the highest grossing movies of the year. Even if we limit it to just USA movies, it's at #11 just under Twisters. Which isn't bad considering the movie was originally intended to be a streaming movie. However it's seen as a massive success because not only is it originally intended to be a streaming movie as previously stated, but it was made for literally only half the budget of Twisters 2 and Planet of the Apes 4 (or whichever sequel we're at now) despite making about the same amount as those films at the box office. Plus most of Alien Romulus's box office came from international box office and if the international audience loves you, that means you're going to do well after the box office run. Actually just came back from seeing this movie at a 2nd run theater. This was the 2nd time to get into the Halloween spirit and still a very good experience despite already seeing it.
I hope yall watch terrifier 3 when you get a chance, i know you guys didnt enjoy the 2nd one that much but i think the third one was a lot better. It just got released in theaters last friday and i really enjoyed it. it explains a lot more about art and his backstory, and id love to see yalls reaction to it. It isnt streaming outside of theaters yet, but i hope yall get a chance to check it out when it does. keep up the good content!
You don’t have to watch Covenant because this film looks to have outright ignored Covenant. The thing on the wall I think is the first time the movies ever showed how the Alien goes from a small chestburster to a full grown adult Alien. Another thing worth noting about this movie, I was curious who played the Ian Holm droid Rook. Thought they did the standard deep fakes of using another actor like usual, but found out they only hired a actor to do Ian’s voice while the Rook droid was actually a prosthetic/animatronic they made using past Ian Holm head scans from previous movies. They used CGI and deep fakes to make the prosthetic’s face move, but Rook was played by an actually Ian Holm prosthetic. That said. Thought this movie was amazing. I think it being made by unknowns actually worked very well for the movie. Both Cailee and the Andy actor did a very great job that I want to see them in a movie again. I think part of the reason Andy works as a character because he kind of reminds me of the character doofus Rick from Rick and Morty where he's a outdated model but he's actually acts sympathetic. Also Cailee mentions at the beginning of the movie that she found the "see food" joke that Andy tells her funny back when she was twelve and the character got to be at least currently in her 20s now, so Andy is likely over a decade old which is why he's pretty outdated and she sees him as a brother because she knew him for most of her life.
I prefer giger and black horse comice ofr the real lore of the xenomorph than ridley scotts narrative version ,there was also a game to gigers version of the alpha engineers who produced the other engineers and made their own poulated society .then they created the humans and wanted to destroy them . ps you never noticed the easter eggs in the film ,you did a couple so i give you that .

but why the Xeno doesn't give a shit about Bhorn or Kay's brother and just kill them off?
@@IamNinjaOfNinjacause they were attacking them
@@IamNinjaOfNinja as the above comment points out ^ they had a gun and a cattle prod, so the xeno saw them as a threat

naw AvP ran its course
@@cdogg46Fede said he wants to do one with the guy who did Prey
@@mrdavman13 you right, I heard
Please no more AVP's. Those franchises don't need to be merged. It was a bad idea from the jump with even worse execution on screen.
I love that the movie has so much Alien: Isolation things in it
@skywalkerjohn8965 So many people missed that. If you know you know.

YES ISABELA AND CAILEE!
3D printed facehuggers. Coolest part of the movie, that is only hinted at.
Whatchu mean Andy has no sense of humor , bro telling jokes the whole movie😭😭
