I knew a guy named Chad all through school and highschool, long before people were using the name as a meme. Guy really was someone you wanted to punch in the face, then the gut, then crotch, then kick a few times.
I met Tyler Labine, Dale, in Calgary when they were filming this. I was going to trade school down there at the time. He was as nice as you'd hope for.
Did y'all recognize the actress playing the prissy bimbo blonde and the actor playing Chad? They were both in Final Destination 3. She died in one of the tanning beds, he was Mary Elizabeth Winstead's boyfriend who died on the roller-coaster.
You’ve GOT TO get the dvd. It has an alternate movie that shows it from the ‘college kids’ perspective that Tucker and Dale really are the monsters. So good.
thats what I wish they had done for the movie :> Do everything from the kids point of view till she wakes up and goes, "Oh god you hate pancakes." then show the real events :>
Dude I discovered this movie by *accident* when I was in HS. I had satellite TV. Saw it coming up on the guide and thought "might as well check it out" l cannot stop watching it. It is so freaking hilarious and such a fun way of subverting expectation gloriously.
Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine had such great chemistry on screen that I would be up for more Tucker & Dale movies movies, but comedy acting teams like Abbott & Costello and Martin & Lewis just aren't a thing anymore.
Okay, genuinely curious if the reason the "Beer" is just "Beer" in the beginning is because they are driving and no Brand wanted to be associated with an illegal act, but once they're fishing, Pabst is like, yeah, that's cool with us.
I was literally talking about this movie at Coffee time with my friends and family today. It's so awesome to see people discovering this little doosie.
As someone who actually went and saw this movie in the cinema when it was released and bought the movie after. I LOVE that people are finding out about this movie! I told all my friends and family about the movie. Its a movie everyone should see! So criminally underrated and overlooked back in the day. :) Top tier movie! Fun fact! The two "reporters" in the beginning is the director of the movie and his wife doing a cameo before it was mainstream. ;)
I'm not gonna lie, Chad is in my top ten horror movie vilains. He's incredibly entertaining to watch and so easy to hate. .. and the actor commits to the part. "We have to burn this place to the groUnD." "WHAT?!"
You probably won't see this but I'm going through a really hard time in my life and sometimes I feel so alone I wonder if there's any point to keep going. But seeing your video pop up made alot of difference. You two have the vibe of old friends, and when I watch, for an hour I don't feel so alone. Thank you ❤
It's really hard sometimes but just try and hang in there. I hope it gets better for you soon. Every day is a struggle for me too lately, but I know I'm not alone and it's giving me the oomf to keep going. Just try to take it one day at a time.
You guys crack me up. Your comment on teenagers just hanging in the woods killed me. I was 17 in 1985. There was no cell phones, no internet, no cable tv. Absolutely we hung out in the woods. What else was there. Our parents could care less where we were as long as we were home when the street lights came on. Sounds awful but to tell the truth best decade ever would go back in a heart beat
I was in college in the early 2000s and summers were spent drinking around bonfires in the woods. And I'd say kids around here still party in the woods. Gotta make your own fun.
Unfortunately by the time I was born most mothers in our area were very paranoid about pedos so I was barely allowed to ride my bike down the street and back, and that was with mom watching
I'm stunned you've never seen this but so glad you hadn't. Love this reaction. On an added note as Bridget always looks great but man she looks phenomenal here
(At 3:15) You want to know what's funny? The actor who plays Dale, Tyler Labine, he was also on the Netflix series _Voltron: Legendary Defender_ as the yellow lion palatin Hunk in 2016.
My favorite horror movie! I clicked immediately. Knowing your taste in movies I'm shocked you hadn't already seen this. And I love how everyone knows that guy was going to end up in the woodchipper but it's still so surprising when it happens.
@@judeless77 it was just off the top of my head. 7 in the friend group, the Sheriff, and if you want to count them even though Dale might not know about them, the reporter and the camera man.
The reason Tucker keeps pouring beer on wounds is because it's safer to clean them with the relatively sterile beer than any water source they may be near. Also, it's funny.
I was so pumped when I saw this pop up in my feed. I got hooked on your channel since your GOT reactions. I was recovering from a broken back and watched all of your reactions and loved them. Your comments and laughter are both awesome and (I mean this in the most non creepy or offensive way) Bridgette is looking great. Very Pretty Girl and hilarious as well. Keep up the good work!
One of my favourite movies and a yearly rewatch for me. Absolutely hilarious, there's so many good lines. And I love the actor who plays Chad, he just fully commits to being over the top.
Two things I will always remember from the first time I watched this movie. I also said “Of course his name is Chad,” and “Dale just needs a big hug.” (Said the second one about 15 times). I love seeing people fall in love with this movie.
I DUCKING love this move!!!!!! Beyond funny and well though out. Such a great gag on the stereotypes of horror movies. These 2 are my spirit animals My favorite part 21:33
I just watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I had never even heard of it before which is crazy because I love horror comedies. Tyler Labine (Dale) was in one of my favorite shows to ever exist Reaper (on the CW back in 2007-2009, it only ran for two seasons unfortunately) and he was absolutely hilarious in that as well.
i personally believe the bit when dale says he used to lick all the toads is an easter egg reference to dales actor being in an episode of the X files where he licks toads to get high.
This may be my #1 film to rewatch; saw it when it was released and no matter how many times I watch it it never fails me. Deceptively brilliant script too.
A horror movie where the slasher villain is a guy named Chad with a blue polo shirt and a popped collar. This will go down as one of the smartest decisions in the history of screenwriting.
I love this movie. It is so good and Tucker and Dale have that type of perfect friendship that rarely is ever equaled like Gus and Shawn in Psych or JD and Turk in Scrubs
Absolutley love this movie I thought it was hilarious ....should have been a lot bigger than it was...there's been talk of a sequel in the works for years but nothings ever came of it unfortunately ....20:36 ..the guy jumps in the chipper and Tuckers like " are you ok ?" 😂😂😂Great reaction 👍
I never heard of this movie till last year. I seen so many so many reactors watching that movie. So I decided to buy it. When watching it I couldn’t stop lmao. Alan Tudyk that plays Tucker. You both should check out the tv show Firefly because he was in the show. Only 13 episodes were made because they canceled the show. Joss Whedon did a movie of Firefly called Serenity to patch up the show
Alan Tudyk has the ability to deliver lines like no other. Absolutely hilarious. Check out Resident Alien for much more of him. It's a show where he plays an alien who gets stuck on Earth. Would recommend.
Yes, that tool.was called a scythe. It's the subject of my favorite joke. "Woman runs into a police station yelling 'HELP ME, HELP ME, I'VE BEEN REAPED.' Cop looks at her and says "you mean raped?" She says "no, he used a scythe."

If you like brutal comedies, Dead Snow and Dead Snow 2 are worth watching in my opinion, and War of the Roses is a good dark comedy that's not horror.

At the end when Allie asked Dale if he was going to help that girl, are you really surprised he said 'Hell No"? The last time he tried to help someone 8 or 9 people died. That would tend to sour you on the idea of playing the good samaritan.
I’ve never click on a video so fast in my life… I love tucker and dale vs evil… dale is so adorable and Tucker is hilarious. Iconic duo
Yes!
Exactly what I was about to say! One of my favorite movies for sure.
Same!!! So excited

I almost did too, but I remembered that I was working, so I had to wait for lunch break 😅💜
Every reactor: Fuckin’ Chad 😂
I knew a guy named Chad all through school and highschool, long before people were using the name as a meme. Guy really was someone you wanted to punch in the face, then the gut, then crotch, then kick a few times.
There's no safety on a revolver. Duh.

everyone wants the dale personality without the dale look.
@BleachDemon69 Hey, Dale is good looking.... more or less.
I love that you and Dale yelled "Score" at the chilidog coupon in unison. This movie is priceless. I love it so much.
Giving Chad that inhaler was such a great choice. every time he uses it is gold
Everyone always seems to be confused by the "He was eating her face off" line. He was giving her mouth to mouth!!

The delivery by Alan Tudyk is perfection
It's rare to find a movie that's so gory yet so cute at the same time.
Pete The Pirate Guy From Dodgeball.............
Ok folks! We gotta get these guys on Firefly and Serenity ASAP!!!
I got almost as mad at that as when a girl identified Sean Astin in 50 First Dates as being the same actor who played Bob in Stranger Things 😮🤬

Is Pete the pirate in dodgeball the only place you know Alan Tudyk from? If so, time to go through his filmography!
This has been on my annual Halloween play list for about 10 years. This film is majorly under appreciated 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😎
The guy who plays Chad is really good at it. He plays a similar character in Ginger Snaps.

I'd recommend "The final girls" 2015 its a horror comedy about a group of people getting stuck in a movie and plays really well with the tropes.
Seconded.
Tucker & Dale are the most UNLUCKY… LUCKIEST people 🤣
