I have watch this film twice and honestly the second time knowing all the film, I could appreciate even more than the first time the movie. What a great return for the saga!
This movie is so damn good, forget AVP and Prequels, Alien Romulus and the Trilogy stick with that. Finally a GOOD Alien movie once again. Practical and real. Talent at work.
Just seen the film. A great addition to the franchise, brimming with new ideas. I particularly enjoyed the return of Ash (even if he's called Rook) and the way different elements of the previous films are used to make a new synthesis. It allows for a great story. Oh, and I loved Cailee Spaeny!
First time ever seeing an alien movie and I enjoyed it very much. As a sci-fi fan the world building and visual quality was incredible, especially compared to something like the acolyte that had over twice the budget.
Visually it looked great, I'm so glad they weren't CGI Xenomorphs or anything. Everything looked solid, slick, well shot. I wish the gang could've gotten more character development because I genuinely found them interesting especially Navarro. Would've made their deaths more meaningful.
Finally Prac Eff . I love the movie but some parts not appealing or strong for me .. But it remains faithful to its franchise. Hope nxt itll be intense. I understand the timeline thats why its not putting any drastic changes
I am a die-hard Alien Fan! I have the entire Alien franchise on Blu-ray including Alien vs. Predator, Alien vs. Predator Requiem, as well as Predator I, and II... I can't wait to add Romulus to my collection!! ❤❤❤
Love the alien isolation vibes, even the telephone save points made it from the game to the film. I'm looking forward to the movie novelization to come out and add that to my catalogue of alien audio books, they are also awesome.
Tom Skeerit's trembling😱 voice in the first Alien...."It's alive"..Yes from an actors perspective practical effects always wins over CGI..Even over the gulf of 46 years🎉
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie - have seen all the films and recently rewatched 1, 2 and 3 (the extended cuts). I think Romulus is a bit too similar to the first one and somehow feels smaller than 2 and 3 (military/ research base/ prison). But overall I enjoyed it
I think that's what they were going for though. It's a new alien for a new audience, they wanted to give that first time viewing experience to a new generation. There are so many people who have never seen the original. They are gonna be as in love with this as we were with the og, it's a beautiful thing honestly.
It did look great. Definitely less artificial compared to other Alien movies. Now it just needs more in terms of story for the next one. The setting for the story was an interesting idea but maybe the movie needed to feel more dynamic so somehow they would have needed to transition to a 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th location. The space station was a good starter location but maybe they needed to get off that station. The main story needs something to give the movie more locations while featuring Aliens, Maybe a war or smuggling ship.
I just realized that Cailee Spaeny would be much better choice as Ellie instead of Bella Ramsey in the Last of Us. Cailee's reactions and play would fit better in the character. I can't feel Ellie as Bella plays.
The practical effects are so awesome, I wish more studios would go back to this approach. Loved the movie!
Practical fx are alive and well my friend. They never went away and are still going strong. Ask any makeup fx artist. We're always busy!

@@whiterabbit1632 if that is your opinion, it is fine. Not all the things have an unanimous decision.
This movie is so damn good, forget AVP and Prequels, Alien Romulus and the Trilogy stick with that.
Finally a GOOD Alien movie once again.
Practical and real.
Talent at work.
5:23 love this scene
2:07 Facehugger ASMR :)
This movie is on the right path of genre of Alien franchise and Cailee's role is almost the same as Sigourney Weaver's character in 1979s Alien
Just seen the film. A great addition to the franchise, brimming with new ideas. I particularly enjoyed the return of Ash (even if he's called Rook) and the way different elements of the previous films are used to make a new synthesis. It allows for a great story. Oh, and I loved Cailee Spaeny!
This Movie is a absolute Masterpiece!!!
Love the movie keep it up ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Cailee would be perfect for a The Last of Us show or movie!
i rly loved Andy the most when i watched the movie , all i cna say all did a great job as well ! great movie
just watching david talk makes me cry he is such a gentle being i was rooting for these siblings to survive the entire time
First time ever seeing an alien movie and I enjoyed it very much. As a sci-fi fan the world building and visual quality was incredible, especially compared to something like the acolyte that had over twice the budget.
Would love to see Fede´s 16mm shots he made while doing the film
Really interesting ❤not seen the moovie yet but i'm empressed
Visually it looked great, I'm so glad they weren't CGI Xenomorphs or anything. Everything looked solid, slick, well shot. I wish the gang could've gotten more character development because I genuinely found them interesting especially Navarro. Would've made their deaths more meaningful.
this movie was perfect.
Not perfect but definitely good
Saw this in imax, then watched all of the Alien films then saw this again. I feel crazy for saying it but this one is my favorite.
this movie will last generations because of the props.
Finally Prac Eff . I love the movie but some parts not appealing or strong for me .. But it remains faithful to its franchise. Hope nxt itll be intense.
I understand the timeline thats why its not putting any drastic changes
It's not too too scary but it's awesome🎉
BEST ALIEN MOVIE EVER!
Я посмотрел эту часть в кинотеатре,хорошо снят,захватывает с первых минут!Альварез не разочеровал!Свежая кровь!
I am a die-hard Alien Fan! I have the entire Alien franchise on Blu-ray including Alien vs. Predator, Alien vs. Predator Requiem, as well as Predator I, and II... I can't wait to add Romulus to my collection!!
❤❤❤
I didn't like the fact that they changed the design of the xenomorph like literally everything. The previous xenomorph from alien 1 2 3 4 was better!
WHAT A PECKER
Great cast and acting. This will go down as one of the top Alien series
@@maxchau6973 exactly. I will not be surprised if it grows on people and becomes a classic.
Amazing creation.
@@MindVortex7000pretty much. This film will be like predator 2 in the future.
Glad that Alien is back to the basics
This movie was CRAZYYY
I want a radio-controlled facehugger!!
Cailee Spaeny was the right choice for this, she's an amazing actress.
Love the alien isolation vibes, even the telephone save points made it from the game to the film. I'm looking forward to the movie novelization to come out and add that to my catalogue of alien audio books, they are also awesome.
this movie was so freaky awesome
Ong best movie of 2024
Lol
This was the best alien movie to come out
Tom Skeerit's trembling😱 voice in the first Alien...."It's alive"..Yes from an actors perspective practical effects always wins over CGI..Even over the gulf of 46 years🎉
good movie , one of the best of the year imo
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie - have seen all the films and recently rewatched 1, 2 and 3 (the extended cuts). I think Romulus is a bit too similar to the first one and somehow feels smaller than 2 and 3 (military/ research base/ prison). But overall I enjoyed it
I think that's what they were going for though. It's a new alien for a new audience, they wanted to give that first time viewing experience to a new generation. There are so many people who have never seen the original. They are gonna be as in love with this as we were with the og, it's a beautiful thing honestly.
Great documentary. A nice precursor to the movie's release on blu ray. I wonder if this will be included on the blu ray's bonus features.
No mention of the offspring. What a shame. He deserves a feature.
❤😊
I wonder if they'll ever show how they did the facehugger removal scene.
0:26 da fookin moah 😂
i dont think i understood a single word in that sentence
Holy shit the last arc was so disturbing .. i'm glad they went with practical effect, it really show the uncanny feelings of the aliens
I can’t wait to become a director. I want to make a film like the 80’s. Cheesy stop motion and toy models like Star Wars & puppets like Et
@4:06 Nailed it. Hope Hollywood is listening.
I love this movie. It resonates with me.
Movie is truly cinematic respite after long drought of genuine cinema
