So, the men who meet these criteria are less than 0.00015% of all men in the US-that's roughly one in 6,667. even If a man meets these extremely high standards, it's unlikely he'd ever seriously date an average woman. He might sleep with one, but a serious relationship? Not likely. Average women with these standards are setting themselves up for disappointment. Edit: There are also a lot more factors like personality and compatibility.
Your math is slightly off its actually 1 in 666,667. Which means there are about 600 men in the entire US who meet that criteria and that is ridiculous and definitely incorrect. So I do have a lot of issues with your math based on that. The math doesn't work out that way as those factors often correlate with each other (taller and in shape men tend to have higher pay for instance).

Real talk, I'm married, but I've always wondered: has anyone ever successfully picked a woman up at the gym? I was always so paranoid about making women who were just trying to workout uncomfortable or looking like a creep. I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than asking a woman out, her saying no, and then having to see her again at the gym. In 2018 I had a cute nurse taking care of me for an entire week as I recovered from a massive surgery at a VA hospital. We joked around every single day and had amazing chemistry. On my last day there, I was extremely disappointed because she wasn't working. I was disgusted with myself for not asking her out and I knew it would haunt me forever, but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable if she didn't feel the same way or if she was just being nice. Nobody wants to be that delusional guy who thinks that the waitress is into him and completely misreads the situation. Anyways, on my last day in the hospital, a different nurse asked if there was anything I needed before I left and I said "Yea, my previous nurse's phone number would be great!" and we both chuckled. Three days later I got a text saying "Hey, this is Nikki". Apparently she did feel the same way and was bummed that I didn't ask her out. She was eating lunch with my other nurse who told her what I had said. Long story short, she broke some rules and looked up my info to get my number. We got married in 2021. I genuinely can't imagine my life without her, and it scares me to think that none of this might have existed had my other nurse not mentioned what I had said...all because I was too afraid to speak up.
There's a few people at my gym who have met there and are dating. I've gone on a few dates with people from the gym as well, but in all those cases we see each other at the gym and see each other outside of it first before asking each other out

As an autistic guy I feel that, women see my singleness and hate me for it generally speaking. I personally never cared about a man's height - I'm only 5 feet 4 inches so I have no right demanding a super-tall man. Now that being said, I have some tall female friends between 5 feet 11 and 6 feet 2 inches, so I definitely understand their desire for a taller man. I wanted to set up my 5 feet 2 inches friend with a 5 foot 7 inch male coworker and she flat-out refused...and that is likely why she is alone.

I did not know there was a blind dating event there that night . 20-30 women showed up for the event and not a single man came in for the event that night. Things have definitely changed. I worked in a large medical campus, a woman who was 4’10’’(not exaggerating) and 4’10’’ wide too (exaggerating a little) who worked the lowest tier job and still lived at home tried for a year to get my number. Because i was tall athletic and had a good job. She could not comprehend for a year why I wasn’t interested. She even had her friends approach me to ask. I expressed to them and her several times that she’s not what I’d be interested in. Each time my responses would become meaner. My last day there her friend asked me again and I told her… what would I benefit from this she would be an anchor on my life. Her friend started laughing. About a month later an old coworker said she was still asking for my number from people around the building.
No joke, I work in a hospital system and we had a 5'7 250+lb food service worker, probably barely made it out of High School, they just walk around and take patient's orders, it's easier than fast food work. Well this gal was fawning over a young doctor for weeks, always talking about him to the nurses like she had a chance. They should have shut her down but they didn't. She kept asking about him over and over and tried to get his number, and when she was rejected she got mad about it and became mean. She really thought she was going to be chosen by this doctor who could probably also have been a fashion model. This type of thing exemplifies how much this Country's culture has degraded, especially the family and upbringing, and the delusion of a majority of females in our society. I personally don't believe this will be repaired in my lifetime.
Had that kind of experience at a park one time. I was politely answering her questions and deflecting. She was persistent and chatty as well as kind so I felt bad being crass. If there is no attraction it just doesn't matter and sometimes physical conditions are really a turn off. It's pretty crazy the difference in looks women have from being fit to obese. One can be instantly attractive and other instant turn off. I'm no specimen myself but at least i'm pretty muscular.

The problem with singles events is that even if there are 90 women and only 10 men, the women will only be interested in the top 1 or 2 men, and will treat the other 8-9 men disrespectfully.
But to be more fair, among these 90 women there are a high percentage of them who invest in looks AND even in erudition. They spend time and money to be good and interesting. But guys don't even bother with their looks and knowledge. That's why women would pick 1 or 2 INTERESTING and GOOD LOOKING guys.

These are the latest stats I saw for this year: 63% of males in the 18-29 range are single. Somewhere between 30-40% of them are not looking. 33% of the women in that age range are single. That kinda says it all. The older dudes are dating younger women, or, those younger women are all dating the top 30% of males.
Another thing I'll go ahead and add that the 18-29 age is dealing with, we can't afford dating. I'm two weeks to 24, and because I made the mistake of going to college my entire paycheck goes to said college. If it wasn't for family, I'd be homeless just because I decided to learn engineering. Dating from that as a foundation is a no starter.
The main issues with single events is women go there thinking they get to pick the one they want, and men go there hoping to get picked. You know it, I know it, they know it, everyone knows it.
This is a far more salient comment than most people realize. You know whole six-six-six thing sucks and all, but there's plenty of truth there: Fine, you're not six feet tall, but are you muscular? Fine, you don't make six figures, but are you building your career? Do you make high five figures? You don't have a six pack, but are you strong? Fit at all? Educated? Socially competent? Men aren't making themselves worth so much that they feel they _can_ pick. They're hoping they _get picked,_ and that some 10/10 bombshell "sees the real him." I am 66 and dropped out of dating a long time ago. My marriage and later divorce convinced me that, for me, relationships are not worth it period. Since then, I have enjoyed the ability to do as I please with my money. The only reason for relationships that I can see is to build a family, and at 66, that reason does not exist. I do enjoy fairly good finances, and there is literally nobody that can veto my decisions on how to spend my income.

Well most of the guys who go are losers who can't get women right? They're not in her consideration to begin with but what she is wondering is why no guys that she might like are going. Think about it logically, if she is pretty and sociable, and goes to this event, why would it be weird to think a guy that is handsome and sociable would also go to the event? They could be a good place to meet people, but those people still need to be in each others league. In my field of work I work for a lot of rich people. 80-90% of these high earning people are married to a foreign traditional wife they met during a vacation. Every last one of them is at home cooking meals and cleaning the house. A few of the men around my age I’ve talked to when they offer a beer after a job always say, “I couldn’t date modern American women. All they want is more money and less questions. They never clean or cook and insist on hiring cleaning maid services and expensive chefs.” If you want a high earning husband you better be able to meet his needs or you’ll just be thrown aside for the foreign traditional wife!

Not gonna lie. I tried one of these before and it was an absolute nightmare. I thought being interrogated by airport security landing in Australia was bad, but an event like this, crazy. I was grilled about everything, even asked why do I fold towels a certain way (I showed a lass a picture of my surfboard, and there was a towel in the back drying on a radiator) After that event or whatever you wanna call it (felt like a mothballing) I decided to just see if anything happened naturally AND what do you know?! I was working with a charity (I do guided walks, hiking etc) and I was asked out by a lass (I worked along side her for a few weeks) We've been together 4 years now. I met her organising a small activity walk with her class at the primary school she taught at. We hit it off straight away, while keeping it professional at the same time. It was awkward at first, but absolutely nothing like one of these events I experienced.

Real talk, I'm married, but I've always wondered: has anyone ever successfully picked a woman up at the gym? I was always so paranoid about making women who were just trying to workout uncomfortable or looking like a creep. In 2018 I had a cute nurse taking care of me for an entire week as I recovered from a massive surgery at a VA hospital. We joked around every single day and had amazing chemistry. I was disgusted with myself for not asking her out and I knew it would haunt me forever, but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable if she didn't feel the same way or if she was just being nice. Nobody wants to be that delusional guy who thinks that the waitress is into him and completely misreads the situation. Anyways, on my last day in the hospital, a different nurse asked if there was anything I needed before I left and I said "Yea, my previous nurse's phone number would be great!" and we both chuckled. Three days later I got a text saying "Hey, this is Nikki". Apparently she did feel the same way and was bummed that I didn't ask her out. She was eating lunch with my other nurse who told her what I had said. Long story short, she broke some rules and looked up my info to get my number. We got married in 2021.
I genuinely can't imagine my life without her, and it scares me to think that none of this might have existed had my other nurse not mentioned what I had said...all because I was too afraid to speak up.

Because i was tall athletic and had a good job. She could not comprehend for a year why I wasn’t interested. She even had her friends approach me to ask. I expressed to them and her several times that she’s not what I’d be interested in. Each time my responses would become meaner. My last day there her friend asked me again and I told her… what would I benefit from this she would be an anchor on my life. Her friend started laughing. About a month later an old coworker said she was still asking for my number from people around the building.
No joke, I work in a hospital system and we had a 5'7 250+lb food service worker, probably barely made it out of High School, they just walk around and take patient's orders, it's easier than fast food work. Well this gal was fawning over a young doctor for weeks, always talking about him to the nurses like she had a chance. They should have shut her down but they didn't. She kept asking about him over and over and tried to get his number, and when she was rejected she got mad about it and became mean. She really thought she was going to be chosen by this doctor who could probably also have been a fashion model. This type of thing exemplifies how much this Country's culture has degraded, especially the family and upbringing, and the delusion of a majority of females in our society. I personally don't believe this will be repaired in my lifetime.

Had that kind of experience at a park one time. I was politely answering her questions and deflecting. She was persistent and chatty as well as kind so I felt bad being crass. If there is no attraction it just doesn't matter and sometimes physical conditions are really a turn off. It's pretty crazy the difference in looks women have from being fit to obese. These are the latest stats I saw for this year: 63% of males in the 18-29 range are single. Somewhere between 30-40% of them are not looking. 33% of the women in that age range are single. That kinda says it all. The older dudes are dating younger women, or, those younger women are all dating the top 30% of males.
Another thing I'll go ahead and add that the 18-29 age is dealing with, we can't afford dating.
I'm two weeks to 24, and because I made the mistake of going to college my entire paycheck goes to said college.

Since then, I have enjoyed the ability to do as I please with my money. The only reason for relationships that I can see is to build a family, and at 66, that reason does not exist. I do enjoy fairly good finances, and there is literally nobody that can veto my decisions on how to spend my income.

Not gonna lie. I tried one of these before and it was an absolute nightmare. I thought being interrogated by airport security landing in Australia was bad, but an event like this, crazy. I'm pretty sure a dude with an attractive stand out personality could receive natural attention at these as long as he looks decent. Women do date minimum wage workers, but the guy does have a stand out in one way or another
Not really the fault of social media, but rather dating apps. Even average looking women get hundreds of likes on these apps and it massively inflates their egos to the point where a woman who is a 5 will only try to get a guy that's an 8+.

But also the height thing really bothers me. Every couple of months my friends or family will try to set me up with a date and 9 times out of 10 it goes like this. "we think you'd be a good fit, because you're tall and she's tall (she's not tall, she's usually like 5'8/9").
