it's a nice idea but they definitely exceed the weight limit of those shelves... some of those aren't even stable and the weight distribution isn't good either
0:48 What bed frame is that? I wanna do something similar to that. Is it a custom-built frame? I've been having trouble finding a bed frame that is 30" high above the ground and I haven't had any luck finding one similar to that height. Are beds even made that high to sell? I need some advice and recommendations, please! :p
i’m not sure it’s a “frame” but you can make it yourself but i would recommend getting a good support system because if you get one of those cube organizers from walmart they can only hold 25lbs on top (i have one) and they aren’t that stable :) maybe you can make a strong one yourself?
3 IKEA kallax shelf’s (£45 each) and then get some wood (or slats) put em over the shelves and plop youre mattress down I suggest going on tt and searching “IKEA diy bed “ to find out more
Debi Barrington it shows the basics for some of them but i think it’s just getting whichever shelves and then making a basic platform with planks to support the bed to make sure that the mattress won’t fall through if you know what i mean
...very difficulty. I for one would not like to change the sheets on the 5' - 6' tall beds. Not to mention, the beds that are not actual frames are extremely difficult to move w/o taking the entire structure apart. Also, would you like to climb 5+ vertical feet each a and every time you want to go to sleep and then get up (down) in the morning....
I’m thinking of trying to make a bed frame from the IKEA Kallax cube storage boxes but gonna have to work out how many to buy as most I’ve seen onRUclips are for single or double mattresses but not for king size as I’m moving in January so I need to figure it out soon 😳👍🏽🙏🏽🇬🇧
Try the malm, Billy bookcase, or besta tv stand collections. Also, 2-drawer dressers/night stands can be used if you want to keep the height down. However, pieces will need to be joined for stability. Huge down side, these beds do not move easily, especially if they use supports screwed to the wall.
...secure the pieces, that make up the base, to each other w/screws or other mechanical hardware. Then anchor the base to wall studs, especially the ones taller than a 2-drawer dresser
...then the structure needs to be secured to the wall (stud), in multiple places, with anchor straps. Even IKEA puts this in their instructions with simple things like 3-drawer dressers after MULTIPLE tip over accidents involving children climbing on them with the drawers open......
...that is where joining the individual pieces together comes into play, but since this video creator cannibalize a whole lot of different beds into 1 video, they didn't do any of the assembly. Mechanical fasteners are highly recommended to secure the different pieces together. The really tall (loft style) beds scare me, especially if the are not anchored to the wall.
People just need not have too many material things mainly💡✅👏🙄 a lot of these designs are too cluttered or moreso than having a real bed and enough space to stretch
But show us how to do it not just pictures and list the furnitures
M K I don’t think he or she knows how to do it-
They just tookmpictures from people wuo did. I know at least one of these was from handy dad here on youtube. He does show how he did it.
I just like bcz i was the 200th yey
Are you really that helpless?
I know I was searching for how to create a platform for existing twin beds
I like the cuby idea where you can climb underneath
That was very nice.❤️✨🥰
With some of them, how do you even get up to the bed?
The steps are there you have to really look. I like the long one with the seating up top. The steps are there. It is at the end.
Run and jump
Some of the steps double as drawers.
I would have an exercise bar over the bed - it would be more fun to swing out of bed.
it's a nice idea but they definitely exceed the weight limit of those shelves... some of those aren't even stable and the weight distribution isn't good either
Plus even for young children, there are always going to be two or three playing/wrestling/jumping on top of the bed.
Super Ideen aber sind die Regale für so viel Gewicht ausgelegt ohne das es zusagt kracht
Ich würde mich über eine Antwort freuen
Lg
Omg i have always wanted one of those a bed
I would like to know how the space with the chair at 1:33 is made... I want a platform bed with space next to it.
Ughhh I wish someone can make it for me to save some space😫😆
Thats amazing 😊
Omg good idea ❤

I just saw someone ask this on a Pinterest picture and someone answered with diagrams and pictures on how to expand!
super vidéo. merci
how can i get the platforms of 1:30 and 1:35, because I think It's not the same of KALLAX system of cube structures.

I love how I got a Walmart ad
Salve, ma vorrei sapere, i kallax reggono il peso di due adulti?
First 1 to like this even though I've seen some of them b4😉
What are shelf called
IKEA👋 from korea here
I love 0:07 that's what I want for my bed!
same!
M too!
I want it!
Finally some more furniture to use while hiding from those staff members..
I really like 2:45. Rather flimsy looking though and I also wouldn’t want to waste access to what I assume is a fourth dresser.(?)

Why does it look like something that we’re going to have in the future?
Are they safe enough?
this is why I am reading the comments. How sturdy is an IKEA dresser to hold a mattress and a person?
...secure the pieces, that make up the base, to each other w/screws or other mechanical hardware. Then anchor the base to wall studs, especially the ones taller than a 2-drawer dresser
0:09 instructions page?
Some of them are nice but omg imagine as you are making the bed and the self moves/falls and you fall with the bed if not just feel the unsturdyness
Ikea furniture is some of the sturdiest
Actually I wasn’t joking this happened to me.
@@MoonLight-wx1yu oh shit lmao!!!

Add latches so they don't move until you want to move them.
Ikea ti voglio bene e voglio Ikea in Brasile 🗣️🗣️🗣️🌎😘❣️😁
Fantastic
Nice however that's wayy too high for me
Posted 8 days ago I’m just gonna whip that like button 👊 I suck lol cool video my dad is going to help me make one ☝️ so thanks u
How did it go and do you still have it
@@Codullah we havent made it yet XD we have been busy on other projects ugh
@@gracey5933 that's pretty much me and my dad with everything as well
you're basically stealing ideas and no credits to the creators.
I like the 1:30 platform bed.
okay first of all how do u climb up
Some of them have steps and for some of them you buy steps to climb up. Isn't that obvious? lmao
Cool I'll be sure to make 1:27
Ikr
why did I get a ikea ad for this
But won't it fall apart?
Aleeka X would if I built any 😏

Too bad I’d fall out of most of these 😂

💛20 DEATH TRAP ideas IKEA bed.💙
咁高更換床套不太方便
Annoying music and no information or instructions on how to build
i looked up anime bed cubby and um.....just don't look it up. its not what i wanted.
I see no steps on most of these so my 45 yr old, 4’ 11” body would never be able to get into these lol
Omg we are the same height
....rope and pulley system (think dumb waiter). Then have a slide to exit the bed. Or, just engineer steps or small ladder into the build.
@@K03sportI love the slide idea. Also, anyone who can sit in a bar stool can sit on most of those beds & roll back onto the bed 😅

This contradicts your page name.
not really…
you build a custom bed using furniture you put together. How is this not diy?
Me running to my dad to say if we can do this
Зур ку!
Idea for bloxburg
Don't show only picture
I really don't trust these hacks
😱😱😱
Questi modelli li avevo già visti su siti che li producevano già 15 anni fa e ikea ne ha copiato l'idea.
Sicura?
Perché alcuni nel video non sono nemmeno Ikea.
E gli altri sono dei malm o dei Expedit/kallax assemblati...
