    Very interesting. Very cultural. I never heard of Madungo before. I like the realness in the video; the people talking in the background. “And you have to slap it too” 😂 😂😂. A lot of work. Very informative and educational. Great video💯👍🏽✅. Watched from start to finish. Watched your Ads too. Thanks for sharing Sam💕

    Loved it and the commentary. I bought back some arrowroot starch from Vincy so it was cool to see that there was a RUclips recipe. Mine came out nice. Thanks for the upload ❤.

    Loved this video. I've been rationing my supply of Vincy arrowroot flour - one pack left - as I only make on special occasions, like New Year's. Usually complement that with some cocoa tea and buljol. Muddawuk I'm already hungry!

      Thank you! I wish I can have some Vincy arrowroot myself. I be dreaming of those madungo bakes. I love it when coconut is added too. That is a nice way to serve it with cocoa tea and saltfish.

    Is it the starch you take and add water to it to get the madungo?

    Can I use the starch from the store to make this? What is the process? Do I simply add water to the starch, form it into a ball and continue from there?

    • @samsgiftedhands3998
      @samsgiftedhands3998  2 года назад

      No it won't work. I've tried it and it was a complete failure. It's better to get the starch from home.

      So they can get the gummy outer layer to mix with the dough. That's the unique part of it.

    Is madungo farine if not what is madungo

    • @samsgiftedhands3998
      @samsgiftedhands3998  2 года назад

      No farine is different. The starch from the arrowroot is whqt we call mudungo starch. It’s the stage before the arrowroot is pulverized. After it is pulverized it is pure starches, light,with bits of pieces like chalk with white powder (the mass feeling firm to the finger. We then called it mudungo and make mudungo bakes from it.
