My name is Sam and I am from the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Food is my hobby, Caribbean and Vincentian. This is my culture and this is where I bring it to you. Caribbean Corn Cou-cou/Fry Cou-cou

Recipe
1/2 cup water to blend vegetables
4 large Ochro/ockra- more or less if you
1/4 of an onion
2 gloves Garlic
1/2 cup colorful bell peppers
1/4 lb of pumpkin
1 tablespion Green seasoning
4 cups coconut milk
2 cups cornmeal
1 tablespoon goya power
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon hot pepper, or you can use the solid peepers such as pimento or harberno pepper. The amount depends on you.
2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 tablespoon butter
Cook time 20 minutes
Enjoy with stew fish, stew calallo, stew peas, provision, etc.

Many people overdo it with the fruit and the browning. Yours seems light in both senses: light as opposed to dense and light as opposed to dark. It makes for a refreshing change. 👏

After viewing the video, I am deeply saddened by the situation on Union Island. Our housing solutions are designed to withstand hurricanes, and if constructed using our system, the damage could be significantly minimized.We have successfully completed projects in locations such as St. Lucia, Aruba, The Bahamas, and Fiji. Our construction in Fiji, built 10 years ago, has withstood 5 hurricanes and remains in excellent condition. Encouraged by this durability, our Fiji client has recently placed an order for new projects.

How do you make the sugar become solid quicker after setting them on the wax paper
@hermosotino you can use less water or put the sugar to melt in the pot and add your peanuts along with spices. You do not have to use all the water in the given video that is used. I hope this helps.

@emmelesha Recipe 2 cups of all-purpose flour (extra flour if you add too much liquid). Knead well and make sure the dough is not sticky. 2 slice of pumpkin- use one and a half slice as well. (Grate on fine side of grater) Not a lot to make bakes heavy. Half carrot( grate carrots on the fine side on grater) 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (feel free to use yeast if you prefer) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 tablespoon shortening/lard Water(Do not add a lot of water, pumpkin, and carrots have its own moisture) Rest for 30 minutes after kneading. Hi Sam, your youtube channel has taught me so much.. I did this yesterday, and it was amazing. You can not let it gel up. That's why you boil it about 3 times and get rid of the water and fresh water.
