  • In this video, I take a look at a nice feature that allows users to export individual streams of their Multi-Instruments within the 'Export Stems' feature.

I would love to see a video on how to make multi-out instruments retain their original output routing (when not routed directly to the master buss) when importing the instrument itself along with it’s destination aux tracks (group tracks, or whatever the proper nomenclature is in S1) from another song/session. In my experience this has been a huge Achilles heal and one of the reasons I don’t do much work in S1, so if I’m missing something it would be great to learn!

One downside to using the channels technique is that the levels are exported thru your Bus and Main level structures in addition to the volume adjustments of the track itself. In other words, your exported tracks will be at a lower level - unless you use a zeroed-out Null Bus for your exports/bounces. But, that's another tutorial. Cheers.

Fella how do you copy events so that each event is unaffected when editing? When I edit one event the midi editing and even audio, it changes the copied one as well. I want to edit each copy independently. Hellllppppp please.

If you have sends, do those get printed too?

Only if you add the channels (FX or Bus) to the export list. For external instruments/FX, the bounce/export will have to be done in real time.

@@Mikahaan Is there any way to export fx/effects intact in audio instead of separate audio fx files???

@@contraspower6302 What do you mean by "intact"? Glad to help, but not sure what your meaning is here. Please explain.
