I just purchased the Tissot Gentleman and I’m simply blown away at the quality. It looks amazing in person and I’ve already received a dozen compliments. I’m at work, wearing my Tissot Gentlemen Powermatic 80. See this video and am ready to see what Teddy has to say about it again. The first video he did made me buy it lol. It’s a Datejust/Aqua Terra hybrid in my opinion. Pure class
An excellent alternative to the Aqua Terra. I can’t justify spending on an Omega at the stage of life i’m in, but the Gentleman is an amazing watch by itself and definitely a great alternative to my dream Aqua Terra. 🔥
Walked into a Seiko boutique hoping to get my hands on the SPB167, but ended up with the SPB227J1 - that red and black dial was simply gorgeous, and IMHO blew the blue dial out of the water.
I love the Gentleman. I had the blue dial, but needed a silver dial to add to my watch roll. I went to my AD, thinking the Aqua Terra would knock my socks off, and it just didn’t. I bought the silver dial Gentleman and pocketed the $4000 savings and I’m super happy with both of them. A BB36 blue dial and a BBBB and I’m done for now. Super happy with this Tissot, I think they knocked it out of the park and obviously the whole watch market agrees.
I’ve owned the silver dial Gentleman for a year now, incredible product for the money. Looks great on a leather strap. Of note: Tissot actually COSC certifies this same movement in a different watch they offer, I’m guessing they chose not to for the Gentlemen Powermatic to keep the price where it is.
Really loved the look of the Tissot when it came out, but I personally think the Seiko looks so much nicer. Would love to try them side by side on the wrist.
I saw the seiko on a local store the other day...and wow! if you think it looks beautiful on camera, i tell you, i doesnt even make it justice. What a spectacular watch!
Got the black Sharp Edge. Awesome fit and finish. The dial is superb, really plays with the angle and light. At a certain angle, the dial looks solid black then shows its great texture in another one. Just wow.
As a Swiss guy, I'm unashamed to say how much I love Seiko watches. I love the history behind the company and hope to get a Grand Seiko somewhere in the future. Those smooth spring drive movements haunt my dreams in the best way possible...
Just ordered a spb165j for my first decent everyday watch. The wearability on my 7” wrist is perfect and the white dial on this watch is not only eye catching and pleasure to view but also goes with a variety of styles.
Seiko all day for me out of these two as its a brilliant all rounder with a better fit on wrist for me. Tissot have an annoying habit of extending the central section of the end link which doesn't sit right to my eyes, both watches have great dials though!
They are both gorgeous. I slightly preferred the dial and more minimal looking bezel on the Seiko, but for a dress and non dress situation the Tissot might be more versatile...maybe it's better to have both!! Great comparison!👏
Looks too much like a Datejust. Plus, look at the center link edge finishing between the two. The Tissot is rounded, and clearly in the mold of cheaper watches. The Seiko's looks like it could belong on a $3000+ watch.
Nice comparison, I would go for the Tissot because I like the silicone balance spring and service wise here were I live is easier to service a swiss movement. Keep the good work my friend!
I do have the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium, so asking which one I prefer, is obvious, I think :) However, some remarks about your comments: the 80.811 is the ETA movement C07.811, not the C07.111 (which is in the e.g. Tissot Le Locle). The C07.811 means that the movement has a silicon hairspring AND a standard pallet fork with rubies (in contrast with the C07.111, which has a completely synthetic pallet fork). About regulating the Tissot: it's not necessary to remove the balance wheel to regulate the watch. Nevertheless, I would not recommend a non-watchmaker to make the attempt: the balance wheel needs to be supported while regulating the watch and you need a decent timegrapher to get the two regulating weights in a symetrical position in relation to the center of the balance wheel. PS. I'm not a watchmaker myself; what I say here was told to me by my watchmaker (who runs a Tissot authorized service center).
A fascinating comparison, and honestly much closer than I expected. The Tissot is my preference, but I can definitely see the Seiko being the better choice for some. I think it comes down to four factors; design, movement, fit and value. I think design goes to the Seiko. There are more than a few people that use photos of the Tissot Gentleman to treat their insomnia; for those people the much more interesting dial, case and bracelet of the Seiko is a big plus. I also appreciate that the date window matches the dial on the blue dial (the date matches on both black dial variants); the white date on the Tissot was almost enough to push me towards the black dial at first. That said, the sunburst blue dial on the Tissot looks beautiful in person, and I prefer the hand/marker design. Point to Seiko. Fit is entirely subjective, and therefore a draw. If you have smaller wrists (
@torotot246 Well, if price is similar, then that's a draw, too. Everything else was close enough that I only used the Tissot's price/value as the drawbreaker. If that's no longer the case, just pick the one you prefer.
@torotot246 If it helps, I love my Gentleman (blue dial), but again, you can't go wrong. My advice is to try them both on first, preferably side by side, and one of them will probably end up feeling more right on your wrist. That's what happened when I finally got to try the Gentleman and PRX on together, as I knew I wanted one of those two, but I'd only tried on the Gentleman. Once I tried on both at the same time, the Gentleman felt like it was made for me, so I went with that one.
@@gpearce11 unfortunately, can’t try them side by side. But I went both stores and to be honest, Gentleman felt more premium. Only downside I would say is it’s more expensive out here and the bracelet.
@@maitrehg no. For men with Girl’s wrists like me!! Would love for it to be a bit like 36mm oyster perpetual. I prefer watches on the smaller size personally
@@dcpayne5264 Small watches are very comfy to wear but I think 40mm is ok for most of us so nice choice from Tissot. The Gentleman is a true home run for Tissot.
Could you help me choose my next watch? It’s between the tissot in this video (820€) and the Maurice Lacroix Aikon 39mm blue (1800€)I have the money for the Tissot but doesn’t mind the saving for the other one. What would you pick?
@@natangia.5653 Choose the one you want the most. No matter the price or the brand, listen to your heart. Right now, I'm saving for a Tudor Black Bay 41. It would be easier to buy a cheaper one right away, but I wouldn't be satisfied. The watch you don't really want will always be a bad buy.
Both watches have slowed-down movements (3 Hz instead of 4) for the sake of longer power reserve. I'd sacrifice a few hours of PR for a faster beating caliber. This would not necessarily make the watches more accurate but it would make the seconds hand sweep smother. And the sweeping second is what makes an automatic so much more appealing than a quartz watch.
I guess you could say there are pros and cons to a faster beating movement. A slower one has mechanical parts that "move" less so it will end up needing less repairs throughout the course of its existence. After a while you get used to how the hand sweeps. Unless you've had a grand seiko with a spring drive you'll hardly be able to tell the difference btw 28800 and 21600
Thanks for sharing Teddy, I appreciate your insights. This is a great comparison. I'd go towards the Tissot as I find that it has a "cleaner" dial. The Seiko dial is nice but seems to be busy and wouldn't be as versatile as the Tissot. But, like you said, you wouldn't go wrong with any of these watches.
Having watches of both brands, love them equally, however this Seiko definitely has more charm. on the other hand (pun intended) Tissot has this cool almost Rolex-like boxiness. Complicated choice, but I'd lean towards Seiko. Watches are not so much about specs, for me it is more about emotions. And this Seiko is definitely heartthrob.
I am partial to the Seiko. At the beginning of the video, it caught my eye right away. I love the design on the dial! That being said, the Tissot is just classic, and you can't go wrong with it. I would be happy to pick up either one, but if I had to choose, I suppose it would be the Seiko.
I got the blue Tissot a year ago based on Teddy’s first review and really happy with it. I have found lots of different straps to substitute for the metal when I want to change it up so the 21mm wasn’t as big as issue as I thought. It keeps amazing time. 1 - 2 seconds per day.
I'm as impressed with your overall video production quality and presentation as I am with these nice watches. Lighting, videography, editing, audio, your presentation style, etc is spot on. I work in this field, well done!
Got the Tissot Gentleman a few weeks back. I opted for the bracelet rather than the leather one as it is much expensive aftermarket. Bought some leather strap to have some flexibility.
I ordered same watch too. I like leather, but for the same reason, I opted for the bracelet. Now I can't find leather strap. Can you help me to find a website for that?
Nice one Teddy, I have both and I would mention that the Seiko does have a Spron 510 mainspring, which is also non-magnetic but arguably more durable than silicium
....commendable, while all that matters it's the hair spring, which is Silicium made at the Tissot. And how is the durability known since the silicium entered just few years back. Considering it is a nanotech material made of homogeneous Cristal lattice and virtually zero corrosion, I'd put money on Si.
A three way comparison with the Sharp Edge, Gentleman and the Longines Conquest would have been ideal IMO. I have been following your channel for some time now and i love how passionate you are about the camera work and macro shots. Definitely one of the best watch channels for enthusiasts on RUclips.
These two watches have been on the top of my "Next Watch List". Now, if I had the $1000 to spend, I'd probably lean for the Seiko strictly because of that dial. It's a real attention-grabber. The finishing, as I remember, uses some techniques that gravitated from the Grand Seikos, and the bracelet, each link is composed of five individual pieces. However, I also gravitate towards the Tissot because of the movement and the price, but I have a small wrist so the slightly larger case is a negative. Either watch would be great, the Seiko maybe leaning towards slightly dressier.
@@ep7164 Yup thats the common issue with the sunburst effect. In darker areas it appears black. But in well lit areas like offices and malls, it looks too good.
Teddy, in my relatively young journey into the Watchworld, I find that whatever questions comes to my mind, you have a video on RUclips giving me a comprehensive answer. Thank you so much for the effort. I will try and return the favor in the future by purchasing from your store.
Seikos are great for dials even in budget category. But the Tissot Gentleman blue dial is so versatile. And the tissot being an upmarket brand is surprisingly the cheaper one.... So my pick is going to the Tissot Gentleman, for sure.
Wow Teddy, chosing beteeen these two would keep me awake for a couple of nights. I'm a Seiko guy, and Seiko would be my obviouse gut instinct , but as you very clearly point out from the movement side I would nudge to the Tissot. I will not take the price in concideration. Great review, great looking watches.
great production and information as usual, but the balance of the Powermatic 80 does NOT have to be removed to adjust the rate. It can be done in situ by simply turning the screws in or out depending on desired rate. Mass out = slower rate, mass inward = faster.
I would say the Ball Fireman Enterprise as that can be bought for the same price as the Presage. Furthermore it has 904L steel, tritium tubes and a far better strap. The Ball 1103R (ETA2824-2) is also a solid performer which is easy to maintain.
I just got the Tissot, but went with the quartz version. It was a tough call, but in the end I traded away an antireflective crystal for a thinner profile (8.5 vs. 11.5 mm.) So far, no regrets, and given the price, I'm seriously considering buying a second, dressier version to complement the more casual look (blue dial, brown leather strap) of the one I'm now wearing. My daily watch up to now has been a '50s vintage Oyster Perpetual, but having it serviced costs than I spent on the Tissot. It's a family heirloom, so I'm not sure what to do with it... maybe I'll dump it on my daughter and make it her problem. 🙂
@@Ab01-p6p why not? I got the everytime and the powermatic 80 in blue. Now I got a tag Heuer F1 caliber 6 watch all with steel bracelets and thats my collection so far. Everyone I've shown them to has thought they were extremely amazing in every way and they say they look beautiful. What's wrong with tissot for starting out? Nobody wants seiko lol thats what everyone tries to go for when they know nothing about watches and when they do like you they bash on tissot. Whats wrong with tissot bruh lol I get they aren't omega or grand seiko or even Rolex or Tudor but come on man don't be like that lol
I love my powermatic 80 from tissot in blue and the steel bracelet. It looks absolutely beautiful in real life. Go to a speedway at night time and while your pumping gas take a look at the tissot watch on your wrist and watch that baby shine like the bell of the ball. Thats how amazing that watch looks. It fits perfectly and the crown is substantial. I'm guessing you bought one the same time as me lol. What do you think of it?
I am actually just right now considering buying the Tissot. I saw the quarz version of the watch and loved it. The price is 350 US more or less giving the exchange rate. So I startet looking online and found out about this version of the watch. And I am absolutely willing to pay the extra. The diference in quality are really worth it. I think I might get myself a nice birthday present.
Man, this was tough. Seiko for me by a hair due to the edgy look. It's just a bit more modern and playful, yet still classy if not *quite* as versatile. Bracelet is also nice enough to keep and the friendly 20mm lug width can't be denied. Love the comparison format and hope to see more. Especially the Tissot rose gold Gentleman Powermatic w/silver sector dial. It's also worthy of some careful consideration as it has a 20mm lug width and is real rose gold at a competitive price point.
I have this version of the Gentleman and it is a no brainer, one of my favorite in the collection. Having said that, I also love the Seiko, I would probably get the green or crimson dial version for dressing options.
Teddy your videos are always first class. I particularly enjoyed your presentation on how Millennials reacted to watches. Very interesting responses from them and very revealing. I appreciated the way you were patient with their lack of knowledge and I think you converted a few away from their cell phones. I have a friend who could be your doppelganger and it's uncanny. He's your age group and a very successful aviation parts supplier. You two are pretty impressive and I appreciate you both. Lots of talent and bright future for both of you. Finally a brilliant you tuber who isn't showing how to cook ribs for the millionth time.
I purchased the Seiko and wanted to learn more about it. My comment is in regards to the review. I appreciated how fair it was despite you only selling the Tissot when it came out. Well done…
this Seiko series is why I started getting into watches. It is absolutely stunningly beautiful and is more art than simply watch making. To Me, the sharp edge series makes the most beautiful timepieces period…but to each their own.
I’ve seen both in “person”, considering my small wrist the Seiko fits better, the dial is really nice and original. TheTissot besides been chunky, it’s just another OP homage.
Could you help me choose my next watch? It’s between the tissot in this video (820€) and the Maurice Lacroix Aikon 39mm blue (1800€)I have the money for the Tissot but doesn’t mind the saving for the other one. What would you pick?
Personally I would never buy a watch with a protective coating on the case. Yes it may provide protection but when it does get damaged you cant just simply polish or brush it out.
I have owned the SPB165 which is the white dial variant and although I love the look of the watch, the 6r35 movement is very erratic. Some days it will lose over a minute a day, others it will gain +3 seconds and it is really frustrating. I know I can get it regulated but definitely something people should be aware of before considering a Seiko with this movement.
I have 2 Seastar 1000's. One green one blue. Also a PRS516 automatic chronograph and the day/date powermatic 80. Just ordered a Seastar 2000. Love Tissot. Have a vintage 1958 Omega. Just wear it at home
The SPB167 has a very interesting dial and a more elegant bracelet. I am a longtime fan and owner of Tissot and Seiko, but in this case the overall proportions of the Gentleman seem more balanced to me.
Another thing to know about the tissot movements, It is a eta 2824-2 based movement, a tractor that keeps ticking no matter what, I have an old tissot from the 90s with it, never been serviced that work like it was new
I think this was generally a thorough and balanced review, but I think you could have addressed some of the serviceability and repair issues the silicone hair spring on the Tissot Gentleman potentially brings.
I've contemplated both, but haven't pulled the trigger on either. What kills me on the Sharp Edge Seikos is that you can get the SARX055 for around the same price, but you get a titanium case and an interesting but more subtle dial aesthetic.
I tried both, Seiko hands down far better choice, it is perfect fit. Tissot 1-2mm smaller, 1-2mm lug tu lug smaller and thinner ring would be perfect. Unfortunately the Tissot shinny big basel ruins the watch. The video is very good and touches every point, he is the guy! Well done!!!
Teddy.. I'm impressed that you cover Seiko so well, and so fairly despite not being an AD.. another reason I follow and respect you and your business. Frank in Colorado
I like them both but Seiko is the clear winner IMO. Great video! And I like your taste in watches which is hard to propagate if you are a dealer and have to sell many different ones.
I think the Seiko looks good, but it feels kinda generic and “yet another Seiko”. From a collectors point of view, I’d go with the Tissot by the fact that it’s movement technically got more edge with the silicium spring, 80 hour power reserve, and also the looks of the Gentleman stands out as pretty unique in the line of watches that the Tissot brand offers.
The Tissot for me, I have quite a few Seiko's so, and only one other Tissot from the 1950's so for me, it would be nice to add another Tissot to my collection.
I would probably just go for the Tissot because it is a little more watch for the money movement-wise, I like the dial a little better (although it isn't as decorated) and the brand name is probably more interesting for the money as well. Idk about value retention for each, though. Also, id love to see videos about where you get your clothes from, Teddy. You always look sharp!
@@Dan-kg7vo not quite like that seiko, i can see the swiss relevance thing with you people, that seiko is farting all over that swissy, its just badass over that tissot!!

Like these 2 comparison, hard to choose, if I were to sit at the Starbuck reading a book and spending some alone time, the Seiko would boost the vibe occasionally, but for everyday watch, I might go for Tissot Gentleman.
Great comparison. For me, they are very evenly matched, with the price difference pushing the decision toward the Tissot. Would you please consider doing a video of similar type watch but in $1000 to around $2000? Another video idea, top 3 tool and diver (every day wear) watches. Emphasis on tough and robust movment watches at different price ranges. For example the omega diver 300 - I would expect it to be the best everyday wear watch in that price category? Or is there a more robust diver for the same price?
I've bought two Tissot watches this year and love them. The quality and craftsmanship for the price can't be beat. And here I also like the bigger shiny bezel. Thanks for the comparison. I'm learning a lot here.
I do love the Seiko Presage dial and of these two that would be my choice, but the bracelet is just a little to heavy looking for my wrist. I'm looking to go a little higher in cost because the bracelet on the Junghans Meister Mega Anthracite Dial has a lighter feel, so if I'm at $1000 I can wait a couple more weeks to afford $1400.
I wanted an OP41 but could not justify the cost, I bought a Tissot Gentleman in Green and I love it !! After watching this video I went out and bought a Seiko sharp edge in Blue. Both are spectacular!! Thanks Teddy

Teddy, big respect for a surprising objectivity for a Tissot dealer.
I thought the same thing. For a video featuring a watch Teddy sells and a watch he doesn't sell, Teddy felt very unbiased.
Just on Thursday i purchased the Gentleman.
I‘m truly deeply madly in love with it.
The quality of your videos are fantastic! Well researched and thought out.
Really appreciate this! Thanks for watching.
Just want to second this spot on comment, your content really is 1st class Teddy.
Thanks for all your hard work.
They are both gorgeous. I slightly preferred the dial and more minimal looking bezel on the Seiko, but for a dress and non dress situation the Tissot might be more versatile...maybe it's better to have both!! Great comparison!👏
For me, the Tissot Gentleman : Sleek, Sharp, Swiss... Will buy one soon. Nice compare though
Can’t really go wrong!
Swiss terminology for you mate, but me prefer japanese
Sharp indeed, I am more fan of quite similar yet much more simply looking PR100 Powermatic 80 tho...anyone else?
Looks too much like a Datejust. Plus, look at the center link edge finishing between the two. The Tissot is rounded, and clearly in the mold of cheaper watches. The Seiko's looks like it could belong on a $3000+ watch.
@@targasantoso4131 ... I* prefer ...
Nice comparison, I would go for the Tissot because I like the silicone balance spring and service wise here were I live is easier to service a swiss movement. Keep the good work my friend!
The showdown everyone was waiting for. Great vid as always!
The dial on the Seiko is beautiful. And the vintage styled angular case design is stunning.
I do have the Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium, so asking which one I prefer, is obvious, I think :)
However, some remarks about your comments: the 80.811 is the ETA movement C07.811, not the C07.111 (which is in the e.g.
If you have smaller wrists (
What if you can get the Seiko cheaper? I currently live in Japan and you can get the Seiko 100 bucks less
@torotot246 Well, if price is similar, then that's a draw, too. Everything else was close enough that I only used the Tissot's price/value as the drawbreaker. If that's no longer the case, just pick the one you prefer.
@@gpearce11 thank you for your response. I am losing sleep bc of this lmao
I bought my dad the Gentleman quartz and he loves it. I wish they did a 36mm version as I would buy in a heartbeat
For girls ?
Tissot is making the right moves ...This Gentleman, the new PRX...and I bet they have something else for 2021. Great vídeo,as always,Teddy.
Interested in your opinion on what kind of straps best fit with the blue dial
Just bought my gentleman and am looking into buying a aftermarket strap
I'm as impressed with your overall video production quality and presentation as I am with these nice watches. Lighting, videography, editing, audio, your presentation style, etc is spot on. I work in this field, well done!
Got the Tissot Gentleman a few weeks back. I opted for the bracelet rather than the leather one as it is much expensive aftermarket.
Bought some leather strap to have some flexibility.
... very* expensive ...
I ordered same watch too. I like leather, but for the same reason, I opted for the bracelet. Now I can't find leather strap. Can you help me to find a website for that?
@@cambaz4387what did you end up going with? Still have the watch?
Tissot for me. I bought one for my son who just graduated from Medical School. He loves it!
Teddy, your camerawork made the watches look so beautiful.
I fell in love with the powermatic 80
Hey Teddy, how about a video with the same price point but watches with a GMT complication. Thank you for the videos Teddy
Ditto!
Which do you wear and like more ?
I got the tissot powermatic gentleman blue because of you. Loving it soo much!
I got the same a few days ago. Awesome watch!
Any problem with glare ? I am afraid light reflection could be annoying ...
I will try and return the favor in the future by purchasing from your store.
really can't go wrong with both of these watches, but the Seiko dial is absolutely stunning!
I’ve seen a The same dial in brown, and it is wild gorgeous.
Great review, great looking watches.
... between* ... obvious* gut instinct,* but ... consideration* ...
As an owner of the Seiko, don't even think about the Tissot. But get a green Sharp Edge and thank me later 😉
I’m currently in the same situation here 🙊
I like the Sieko. Looks fantastic but their SPB149 is the watch that I am currently looking for. Such a beauty
great production and information as usual, but the balance of the Powermatic 80 does NOT have to be removed to adjust the rate. It can be done in situ by simply turning the screws in or out depending on desired rate. Mass out = slower rate, mass inward = faster.
I got the Tissot Gentleman and I love it the dark blue dial is beautiful and simple only complain I got is, the watch scratches really easy
I would say the Ball Fireman Enterprise as that can be bought for the same price as the Presage. Furthermore it has 904L steel, tritium tubes and a far better strap. The Ball 1103R (ETA2824-2) is also a solid performer which is easy to maintain.
I just purchased the Tissot Gentleman with a green dial. I’m absolutely in love with this watch.
Excellent video! I'm going with the Tissot.

Yes it is exquisite! I got mine last week and can't be more satisfied.

Great choice.
Did you embrace it into your bosom before gently sliding and clasping it over your lithe wrist?
Green is the way with the Sharp Edge, 100%
I love the finish on the Tissot but love the dial on the Seiko
Teddy your videos are always first class. I particularly enjoyed your presentation on how Millennials reacted to watches. Very interesting responses from them and very revealing. I appreciated the way you were patient with their lack of knowledge and I think you converted a few away from their cell phones. I have a friend who could be your doppelganger and it's uncanny. I purchased the Seiko and wanted to learn more about it. My comment is in regards to the review. I appreciated how fair it was despite you only selling the Tissot when it came out. Well done…
Both really amazing watches for everyday use. My preference goes to the Presage for superior detailed finishing and angular design.
this Seiko series is why I started getting into watches. It is absolutely stunningly beautiful and is more art than simply watch making. To Me, the sharp edge series makes the most beautiful timepieces period…but to each their own.

It should be -Asanawa- *Asanoha* / Hemp Leaf.
It is easy to confuse though.
The thinner bezel on the Seiko looks really nice.
@@natangia.5653 my suggestion is to try them on first, especially if you have a small wrists, integrated bracelets make the watch looks bigger.
Refreshing to see an AD g in be such a logical unbiased review well done young man. Big fan!
Personally I would never buy a watch with a protective coating on the case. Yes it may provide protection but when it does get damaged you cant just simply polish or brush it out.
Hemp leaves are popular in my culture too, especially after 10pm with a bag of munchies.
My man
This is the video I've been looking for.
From pictures alone tissot gives me the illusion that it is smaller maybe cuz seiko has bigger dial and thinner bezel.
Great comparison. For an everyday watch, I'll go with the Seiko for it's looks and reliability.
I like them both but Seiko is the clear winner IMO. Great video! And I like your taste in watches which is hard to propagate if you are a dealer and have to sell many different ones.
The dial texture on the Seiko is beautiful. I love dials that use changes in texture to add interest instead of changes in color
The Tissot is a looker. It would work for me from casual to any business situation I find myself in.
I think the Seiko looks good, but it feels kinda generic and “yet another Seiko”. From a collectors point of view, I’d go with the Tissot by the fact that it’s movement technically got more edge with the silicium spring, 80 hour power reserve, and also the looks of the Gentleman stands out as pretty unique in the line of watches that the Tissot brand offers.
... its* movement (it's = it is)
I would agree that Tissot looks a lottle better.
The Tissot for me, I have quite a few Seiko's so, and only one other Tissot from the 1950's so for me, it would be nice to add another Tissot to my collection.
Nice comparison. Well done and complete. But after owning these and the Longines Conquest, the Conquest is the best at this price point.

I’ve owned the Tissot for a few months now.
I’m very happy with it.
Like these 2 comparison, hard to choose, if I were to sit at the Starbuck reading a book and spending some alone time, the Seiko would boost the vibe occasionally, but for everyday watch, I might go for Tissot Gentleman.
For my money, I'd go with the Tissot and spend the difference on a vintage King Seiko 56 or Lord Matic.
