@@staceychenevert ~ I got what I wanted for Christmas--I was well enough to go to see my whole family to celebrate the holiday with them. I was unable to go at Thanksgiving, so that's a lot of healing in one month.

Have you ever seen someone be groomed into an affair? Just like an adult might groom a child? Like a spouse poacher? I was straight up blindsided by the persistent pursuing from a married man whom I have learned has a history of cheating, domestic violence, and narcissistic abuse. Plus, traits of a sociopath. didn’t know what it was at the time but he just started messaging me and turned up the love bombing real high, and making promises.
Yes absolutely! There is a strategy to it on their part. They learn how to manipulate and who is an easy target.
Thank you. Like you said, the pain of an affair is so terrible; the worst I have ever felt. I was in a very vulnerable place and ended up compromising my values. What I can’t explain is how he made everything feel SO real that I was about to make major life changes to be with him 😔

How much do you go with biological explanations? Think some people are just innately more or less likely to have affairs?
I know some people may intentionally have an affair but even with that I have discovered root causes etc and it's not right to assume that everyone who has an affair is trying to hurt people. We don't wake up one day and say I think I will have an affair it doesn't work that way.

Why would you help someone stay in the affair instead of saving their marriage. No one should stay in a marriage after an affair there was no trust the person that you love betrayed you and you should move on with your life. This is terrible advice.
I would never help someone stay in an affair. Marriage recovery is always an option for clients. And trust can be rebuilt.
@@staceychenevert You literally said to help you get clarity whether you want to stay in your affair or save your marriage. terrible. You should be telling people that if their partner had an affair they should leave and never look back.
@@staceychenevert Only a fool would ever trust that person again. The other person will see that person as weak and easy to get over on and we'll do it again because they know they can get away with it
You have no idea what clarity looks like and how to help someone end an affair. But I do I know how to help my clients end their affair..and gaining clarity is apart of it. But if you have never been where we are then it's easy to say what I should do
@@staceychenevert I have been there I have been through it I know the damage it does. I've seen it happen to others I've seen the damage it caused. I've seen it destroy families. I've seen it destroy children and I've seen it destroy men and women to the point of ending themselves you have no idea what I've seen. I have plenty of clarity.
