Supposedly they go over all the questions and even let the suspect pick questions to keep all answers even, meaning no questions are a shock so the suspect can't say they were shocked and that's why they failed or they didn't do it but they still feel guilty etc.. They also have them deliberately lie to some questions like Q: "is the sky red?" A: "yes" to see what an actual known lie looks like on the test. It's much more intricate and involved than I knew, and interesting. Hope that helps a little?

This is the most brilliant interrogation/interview I've ever seen. The detective smoothly and totally plays this suspect with a convincing story about being on her side, being totally sympathetic with her position, wanting to help her get through this situation and the polygraphy---all cleverly conceived to get her comfortable enough to start talking about the plot and confessing her role in it. One can see it dawn on her, after she's been giving details of the plot for several minutes, that she's now going to be in a lot of legal trouble. But by then she's practically helpless. It's an outstanding job of building the rapport necessary to get the suspect to open up and then slowly shift from her initial position of not knowing anything to revealing that she was heavily involved in the conspiracy to murder her husband.

She sure is acting extremely chill after witnessing her husband being murdered in front of herself & their child. Zero emotion. Zero remorse. Zero ability to blow her nose🤢 Why don’t these people just get divorced?! It’s infuriating that people choose murder over divorce & actually think they’re going to get away with it. There’s definitely people who have gotten away with it but thankfully not this idiot. RIP Tyrone💜
