Hi, Jenny, u r my QUILTING QUEEN, and u make all of your quilts very easy, i love the heart pillow beside the big heart quilt, i think i will make one for my two daughters and my granddaughter one, thank u and keep up the good work, God Bless You.
Yesterday I bought my first rotary cutter! I was so excited! I was just cutting random material I had for fun :) I also bought a cutting mat and a ruler. The ruler has a 4x4 square in the middle for cutting my own squares! It's so much fun! I watch your videos everyday, they make me so happy!
ilove your lessons jenny,i have learnt so much watching your videos, i have made quilts and bags, usen old cutains and bedding,so much fun thank you very much
Thank you so much Jenny! I keep watching your videos over and over, you explain things so well and make it so easy to finish a beautiful quilt. I love this Valentine project. The options that you show at the end on the different projects to use the block + the leftover pieces is GREAT! I have already started to order your templates and tools to help with the projects. I do alot of charity sewing, so these projects allow me to finish quilts quickly so others can enjoy them!
Thank you so much Jenny. I am making a crib quilt for my soon to be granddaughter, and wanted something special on the back. My own heart pattern is much more complicated. Yours is so easy and quick to create. Just what I needed. Thanks again Jenny.😊
I am so thankful I found your tutorials! You inspire me so much and it helps that your instructions are packed full of well thought out information. With todays economy it's not always an option to take a class and when I stumbled across you guys on RUclips it was a great big blessing to me! I can't wait to try my hand at making this heart quilt and use up my scraps when I get the crazy quilt tool I just ordered! You guys are fantastic!
Not feeling well in bed yesterday, I have watched as much videos I could with Jenny Doan!! I just wanted to get out of bed a quilt almost everything I viewed!!! A friend of mine & I are doing a 4 day retreat pertaining to charity quilting. Jenny's videos wants me to make her quilts!! Love her methods and so easy, we can get a lot done. Thank you Jenny!!
Jenny , you've taught me so much I don't think I can ever get tired of this hobby. I'm totally hooked on it thanks to you and I needed that. May Heavenly Father always bless you and your family.❤❤❤
SOOOO cute! I think I have a stash of pink somewhere. I may make this for my 4 yr old niece she will love it. Jenny I think your a little excited about this one :) Thanks for all of the videos. Happy valentines day.
I used your heart pattern on a small wall decor hanging... My 3 year old DD was my helper!! Love it- thanks for sharing!! I hope you have time for similar St Patricks day and/or Easter ideas!!! Teresa
I love this older video, I started watching your tutorials about 8/9 years ago but never saw this one. You are such an inspiration and I am grateful for your enthusiasm and encouragement! I am making my first trip to Hamilton soon. I hope to see you there.
Jenny love this heart tutorial so much!! You make it all so easy!! I've made a heart mug rug and now working on a heart table runner. This has been a good practice experience for me working on this quilt square to which I've long put off. Can't stop making them now and will be making more ideas as gifts. Thank you Jenny for your wonderful teachings!! :))
I am one of those that cannot draw a straight line iwth a ruler so I do appreciate being able to iron the squares in half and frankly, I had not thought of that. Just love this tutorial, thank you so much.
YOU are as sweet as your heart quilt, the table cover and your table runner. Love them all - sweetness inc! I plan to make my GREAT granddaughters these quilted hearts and also dolly blankets to match - ALL because of you! Thank you for MY happy family with granny gifts!
You have the Midas touch with a organized mind, creativity, and excellent communication skills. You truly make the world a better place by sharing your knowledge, which goes beyond what is presented for your business.. Bonnie :)
I think that is one of my favorite video. So many different uses from one idea. Thank you so much for sharing this one. I can not wait to start my new heart projects...
This is a great quilt. I am making one for a friend of mine who loves classical music (I'm using All That Jazz) and is preparing for cancer treatment, so the hearts are perfect too. I changed it up a bit by cutting the layer cake in half and sewing the background charm to the bottom of each half and the 2-1/2 squares to the top the make the heart peaks. It makes it go even faster and helps preserve the fabric design, which I love. Another great tutorial Jenny. Keep them coming!
Oh! I LOVE this pattern! Thank you so much! I have learned so much from your videos. When my friends ask where I have learned my quilting techniques, I tell them that I'm taking "RUclips" classes through Missouri Star Quilters, lol.
This is an awesome tutorial. Just watching this makes me happy. Now, I want to go and quilt away. I am thinking about how it would look with other colors. I think that it would be fun for any time of the year. : ) Thanks!
LOVE all of these!❤️I just finished my FIRST EVER quilt top using your easy hourglass pattern!! It turned out SO cute! I’m learning so much by watching your amazing and fun tutorials! Thanks VERY much for your teaching.🥰😊❤️
hi Jenny. I am making a X & O quilt. I started by making all my 5 inch pieces for the X and decided to add O's. I like it. thank you. A quilter for life.
I figured out how large of a block to make for each Pins and Paws kitty to replace the wonky star blocks in the Wonky Stars Charm Pack quilt. Now I can do the same with this heart block! Yay! Thanks for another great tutorial!
Jenny awsome, if you want a softer looking heart, fold the small white square into a triangle, put the folded edge toward the heart, you will be sewing the outside corner not the diagonal, that makes a flap where the diagonal fold is, turn the flap back maybe 1/8-1/4 inch and sew it down, that puts a curve on the top part of the heart, no cutting of fabric, you could do it on the bottom part of the heart as well, but I like the sharp point. I hope you understand this. Thanks for all you do! Dee.
Watched about 10 times! Making one with all differentscrappy squares..tip for you set..put your sewing machine on a higher table so you do not have to bend down to sew.love love your shows
I LOVE that you are frugal.. I am always wondering why patterns whack off chunks of fabric and pitch them. This pattern is wonderful. Your teaching style is just great for sewers!

I've just made this gorgeous quilt and used the spare hearts to make it into a quillow using the table topper design.

Hearts are so pretty. Thank you! The tape with 3 lines are great when having to sew squares in half. I believe you use that as well?
Love this tutorial!! Used the heart block to make two pillow shams/covers for my moms front porch rockers. Not sure how to upload the pix though.
sooo cute tutorial
Oh...and I used your Quilt as You Go tuitorial, and made placemats with all of those extra squares!!!
I have always wondered how this block was made... Thanks.... Now I want to make something for Valentine's Dsy...
I LOVE that you are frugal.. I am always wondering why patterns whack off chunks of fabric and pitch them. This pattern is wonderful. Your teaching style is just great for sewers!
Yes, we noticed you matched the quilt with your red top, beautiful Jenny!
Haha I can't remember if that was intentional or not!! ;)
