I appreciate it when someone shows blocks made with precuts and scrap fabrics rather than yardage. Thank you!
If you sew carefully ON the drawn diagonal line on the 5 inch paired squares, trim off the two smaller triangles 1/4 inch from seam, open and press the large half-square triangle, you will have a 5 inch HST. Take this five inch HST and cut it into four 2 1/2" squares. You will get two 2 1/2" HST's plus one background 2 1/2" square and one 2 1/2" colored square. [The cut away triangles from the first seam can be used for another block or sew together to make an HST and trim to 2 1/2". This gives you more HST's useable for this project (less wasted fabric.)]
That is a great fabric saver. Thanks for the tip!
@@susanmadden2455 I agree! 😊
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful and wonderful directions.
I, too, would like a written pattern. Is there one? This is such a beautiful quilt, and I would love to make one.
I’m not a pink person but I have to say your quilt is absolutely lovely. I think that quilt would brighten up any room. Thank you

Such pretty fabric Laura. You make everything achievable with your way of calmly explaining the steps. Thank you so much. You are a joy to listen to.
I love the way ypu so calmly explain the steps , pointers and tips. No rush. I love that i do not have to do a back and forth while watching the video💗
Cute little quilt. I like both blocks, alone or together. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕. Happy Valentine's Day 💝
I love this block and you have inspired me to get out a couple of jelly rolls. Your instructions are always easy to follow! 🥰
I love that fabric line - such a pretty pink. You could also do this with a Layer Cake (with a few mathematical adjustments) for a bigger size quilt 😊
Love it. Wish you had the measurements here. With instructions. I just sewed 12 Moda Love quilt blocks. Then it has to sewn
This choice of fabric is so perfect for these blocks, I love it!! Also THANK YOU for showing such a fantastic way to cut precise pieces from precuts!! I have never thought of doing it that way but I don't normally use precuts. You are one of my faves on YT because of your well thought out techniques, tricks, and to the point construction! Thanks Laura!! Also since you are a Bernina ambassador can you please discuss some great ways to use our different feet and other tips and tricks you might have in your private stash?? There are so many of us out here with Berninas!! Thanks!!
can we buy a copy pf the pattern,i have folled you before and you always have the instructions but not of this one thanky sandra varela
Very nice pattern thx you for the demo
I love it Laura. Thank you for posting the jagged edge tip. I have 2 mauve floral charm packs to use for an Easter themed table cover,
Good morning/afternoon Laura. Thank you for another great tutorial. ♥️I love the fabric you used. It’s beautiful 💕
You do a great job in explaining everything step by step. You make it look so easy.
Measuring that way is brilliant, Laura! It definitely ensures accuracy, and you don't have to cut off all those little points (what a mess that can be)!
A very sweet quilt. Thanks for showing us how to do it.
I love the colors. So beautiful. I hope I can find the colors like yours.
Adorable little quilt! I have a love/hate relationship with precuts because of those little pinked edges….I REALLY dislike them! ( I would have said HATE but it’s Valentine’s Day and I need to be nice!)😉. Thanks for the tute, you always make my day!
That is such a cute quilt. Love the way the blocks compliment each other. Cheers Laura.
Beautiful fabric, sweet quilt. Thank you for taking your time and sharing with us. 🇺🇸
Beautiful little quilt top. Wonderful for a sweet baby. Blessings to y'all.
I LOVE pink and this is a lovely quilt--great baby quilt pattern! Thanks!
Excellent Laura great way of dealing with charm pinked edges
Adorable little quilt. And thank you for your tip on cutting those pinked edges.
Thank you for answering my question on the peeking shear edge ❤
You are such a great teacher---clear, well-thought out instruction! And I love charm packs, so it's great to see a lovely pattern idea I can use ASAP. Thank you!
So glad I found you
So so pretty! I have the feeling I'll be making a few crib quilts in the near future and this pattern will be perfect for at least one of them. Thank you so much for sharing these techniques with your fans!
So cute! I love how charming it is in pink! ❤️
I recently found some charm packs and layer cakes in my stash. I have veered away from them for two reasons; one reason is cost, the second is the pinked edges. I measured from the sewn line as you recommended and was very pleased with the accuracy. Thanks for the tip!
Lovely little quilt. It would make an adorable baby quilt. Thanks Laura
I like how you explain color Choices & placement -so beautiful.
It’s very beautiful I love it and the colors do pretty.
Love the quilt, I would like to try this one for sure. Nancy
Very pretty fabric. Soft looking.
Can hardly wait to do mine.
Hi! I love this quilt and all the pink, for a new baby girl born 2/16. But I don't see a pattern for it.... is there one.
Is there a written pattern for this darling quilt?
I just finished a quilt using that same fabric - it's so pretty. This is a nice pattern for using those charm packs, and I have a lot of them.
Very cute Laura! It would make such a darling baby quilt. Thanks for the tip to line up 2-1/4" from sewing line to get 2-1/2" piece. I wish all charm packs were 'generously' cut. I'm working with a line right now and unfortunately that's not the case. I hate those pinked edges!
such a beautifull quilt and so well explained! Thanks Laura you are wonderfull!!!
I’m looking at this again and I’m determined to make this quilt. Beautiful colors, I’ve used my very similar colors on another quilt so have to fine some othered. I will.
Is this quilt in any of your books?
I really love this! I’m not sure I could actually tackle it but it is lovely! ❤
This 9:45. Looks like ‘Sisters Choice.’ Beautiful! And the line favors Breast cancer awareness? I believe. Also beautiful.
You are an excellent teacher!!!
Beautiful quilt, Laura! It was fun to watch! Thanks a bunch!
Beautiful little quilt Laura! Thank you💕🧵
This is such an adorable quilt.
Another great quilt!! Thanks Laura!!
Very pretty quilt! Thank you for sharing!🤗
What a cute quilt! Now I know what to make the next time I see a cute charm pack. I never know what to do with them, so I don't buy them. Thank you!
Pretty! I really like your 4 patch technique. I'm working with pinked edges, and they aren't true 5-inch squares. This solves my problem.
I have been sewing for years but I have always avoided pinked-edge fabric. Why did it never dawn on me to measure from the sewn seam and not the edge? What a game changer. Thanks for demonstrating!
That fabric so so sweet. Thanks for the idea for cutting, I do not like the pinked edges. Another great video, thanks
Love this pattern and the fabric!!!
This is a great quilt. Thank you.

I love this quilt. I also like the background fabric you have used. Would you please tell me what fabric you used for the background. TIA
Love this quilt.
Love this quilt. Going to give it a try. 💘
Gorgeous ❤
This is absolutely adorable! You did a wonderful job. Quick clarification: did you mean 34” finish? My niece just made it and hers ended up much smaller. Counting across your quilt with 17 blocks at 2” finish, 34”’seems more accurate?
👍🌹 Очень красиво! Спасибо. 🌸😊
Thanks, Laura.
This is so pretty.
Sweet quilt!
Gorgeous
