My daughter was diagnosed with cancer four months ago at the height of the pandemic, when my husband abandoned us, and as I was recovering from a spinal injury. It was the hardest news I ever had to face. Two weeks into her aggressive chemotherapy and radiation her body could no longer tolerate it. Through grace and mercy, God intervened and healed my daughter. She is totally healed from cancer. Thank you Jesus Christ! Amen. A blanket like that would have brought a smile to her face. Thank you Jenny for making a difference by showing and sharing your love of quilting with the hurting around you. God bless you and your amazing family. Thank you on behalf of myself and my daughter juju.
Here in Ontario 🇨🇦, we have an organization called Victoria’s Quilts. The members of this group raise funds, buy fabric, and make quilts for people suffering from Cancer. There is no charge for these quilts. Over the years, I have given them the names of people who could use a quilt. Last year when I underwent a double mastectomy one of our Guild members gave my name and a quilt was donated to me. I used that quilt everyday. The love that came from this quilt was truly amazing.
Beautiful quilt ... my Pastors wife was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago and she now has COVID19.. I would love to make something like this for her. Anyone reading this please keep Annette Jordan in your prayers. Thank you... God bless 💗🎗💗
My sister in law had breast cancer and words and prayers do matter. I will say a prayer that your Pastors wife be healed of these afflictions and that God's healing hands restore her health, that her family feel his love.
Hi Jenny, I'm working on my 1st quilt, but WOW, your quilt is special. Not only is it beautiful, but it touched me.. I am a double mastectomy survivor 24 years apart from 1st. I plan on making a Tee-Shirt quilt next with Sis's Tees. She passed away last year & I got Dibbies on her shirts. She fought Diabetes & her name was Angel. 😇 I may incorporate Angels, Hearts or Bingo related blocks. Thanks for sharing. I drew inspiration from this project.❤
I’m a beginner quilter and have only been sewing for a little over a year but I dove right in so I could make a quilt. I did make some bowl cozy’s for everyone as Christmas gifts but then went right back to quilting. I just finished my very first quilt, it has lots of mistakes but I’ve learned from them and I know my second quilt will be so much better. I appreciate your tutorials more than I could ever put into words! Being able to follow along, pause when I need to and the capability of writing down the directions needed when cutting the fabric. I only wish your older videos were easier to find, like maybe you could split them into playlists so they could be easily found. Thank you ALL so very much for coming together and getting these tutorials online so beginners like myself have a much better chance of being successful. I have bought a ton of everything from your store and pray I live long enough to use it all. I have so many ideas but only so many hours a day! Thanks again to the entire team at MSQC!! ❤️🙏 love and prayers always for all of you and your families.
I’ve met my 5 yr anniversary breast cancer free in July. Thank you Jenny for promoting love for all breast cancer patients/ fighters/ survivors. Please get your mammogram! Bless y’all.💕
I love this quilt, everything Jenny says about it and the story she tells at the end of the video. When my darling partner was diagnosed with cancer, I made him a huge quilt. It was filled with so much love for him and making it was also such a big help to me while he was in hospital and it got me through some very long and dark days as I could sew and sew and sew and not dwell on the bad things. He’s well again now, but we use the quilt every day. Thank you Jenny x
We also need to honor patients with ovarian cancer. I’m a 9 year SURVIVOR! Little is done for us and far fewer survive. Your heart quilt is beautiful, it would be loved in teal.
I had breast cancer in 1995 so I have been cancer free for 35 years now. It is so important to know that people around you support you, love you and pray for you. Thank you for bringing awareness to this. It's so important for women to get mammograms. It was the only way they found mine. God bless you. I love you, your family and your videos. Please keep it up.
I don't get mammograms anymore. Studies show that by the time the cancer is seen on the mammogram, it has already spread. It does not save lives. They stopped recommending them in Canada because of this. IMHO, it is just big business. Just like drinking milk and taking calcium for strong bones. Do you know that drinking cow's milk actually contributes to osteoporosis? It is so acidic it actually pulls calcium out of your bones to return your body to an alkaline state. Research it if you don't believe me. Just remember, medicine is big business. They will sell you anything. Do your own research and make your own decisions. Doctors have really hurt me in the past, and I don't allow it anymore. Do your research, ladies!! The solution is a very healthy diet of plant based foods. You would be surprised at how healthy you can be if you stop just doing whatever the dr. says, and stop eating animal products! I recommend, go to dr.mcdougall.com and find out about a healthy vegan diet. Make your own decisions after doing your own research!! Then if you decide to get a mammogram, at least you are informed. Just my two cents worth!!
@@petmomful2260 sorry you feel that way. But a mammogram was the only way they found mine! I trust my doctor completely...she has never steered me wrong and always informs me of all risks, benefits, alternatives etc. Please don't mislead women. As to the milk issue...I have never seen any research saying milk was bad for you unless you have an allergy to it. Also other research has shown that a plants only diet is not a healthy one either. I agree that people should do research on anything they are concerned about but don't just look at one study or opinion. And to tell people to ignore their doctor's is very irresponsible in my opinion. I pray you never get breast cancer because of your failure to get a mammogram.
This made me tear up and cry. I love the quilt, but especially seeing your big heart shine through. In March, just as Covid was starting, I went into cardiac arrest (we still don't know why). I almost died - the only reason I lived was because my husband was home to perform CPR while waiting for the paramedics. While I was recovering, I had no idea that a group of my friends were arranging a gift basket for me. In that basket was a handmade quilt. I cherish that quilt and use it every day. Handmade equals love.
Such a beautiful message. I love your tutorials especially this one. I am almost 6 years cancer free and support from loved ones makes all the difference.
What a beautiful gift for the lady’s who have cancer. I can honestly say I know they feel as I’m fighting it myself. Good luck to all who are watching this tutorial. God be with us all.
Jenny this video touched my heart. I lost my mother to cancer and so many loved ones. The emotion you had at the end was teary-eyed but from the heart. You have a gem for a heart.
I've said this before and I'll say it again... How can ANYBODY down vote one of Jenny's videos?! Ugghhh.. Jenny, thank you so much for always sharing your beautiful heart and your amazing talent with us.
I think the same way about a lot of the great video’s I watch on RUclips, and I see the thumb down. I guess there are some people who are just never really happy or maybe, they’ve not got their glasses on and mistake the thumb direction? Just a little positive thinking on my part there. :)
I am a women of God and I hope this doesn't put you off, but God has put you so very heavy on my heart right now!!! He is leading me to pray for YOU Jenny...... I can feel why in my soul, but my heart is at peace, you will be ok, and blessed in all that you walk through. You will be alright through whatever may come, you are not walking alone.... I will do what the Lord has lead me to do and pray for you now, today and everyday moving forward... God bless you for all you do for all of us out here. YOU have helped me feel less alone in my sewing/quilting and you bring such a joy to my life, learning from you, with your passion to create and give to others, I now have the same passion to create and give too.. ☺️. God bless you, much love and prayers from Jen I'm Bakersfield CA.

Thank you for the beautiful pattern and technique. And thank you even more for sharing such a personal and lovely moment of connection with the gift of love between two friends. There is indeed great power in encouraging words, and great power in friendship and love. God bless you, Jenny.
Aww Mrs. Jenny! I love you and I love all that you and the MSQC has brought to my life these past five years. I have made quilts for friends with Lupus, Colon Cancer, sadness, babies and just for pure joy of my loving them. I made your basket of flowers quilt for my sweet Momma while she was in rehab after her stroke. She passed away shortly after that, but she loved the quilt. Thank you Jenny! I hope I never have to make this quilt for friend because of cancer, it I know where to look if I need it. I pray God continues your blessings! 😙

Thank you Jenny. What a Precious, Thoughtful quilt. It will mean so very much to anyone receiving one. You are a very special person I love watching your videos. We all love you out here. Thank you for all you do. You bring such joy to me when I watch the videos. God bless you and your family.
awwww how sweet is that. So special. Thank you for using October in your quilt tutorials to promote love and strength and showing us how to use it in a quilt. I really never thought of that or a pillow.. Awesome!
Thank you, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. A very good friend of mine was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Hers is worse than mine was. I have just made her a pillow like this
Love you Jenny! I put my heart and soul into the quilts I make and give away. I call mine HUGS FOR HOPE quilts. I give them to folks who are struggling... whether with cancer, chronic pain, whatever they are needed for. I love the hope that my quilts bring! Great video!
You touch my heart every time I watch & listen to you. You especially touched me here. I believe in that same energy. God bless you & your family. I love you. Grateful to be a Survivor❤️
Jenny such a lovely idea & a beautiful quilt. You're right about words being powerful. My husband is fighting cancer & the support of everyone around us is what gives me strength.......& Sewing of course 😁. Take care 💗
Jenny i ordered the heart template yesterday i have big ideas on what I want to do , your such a sweetheart and caring person Thanks for sharing your Love all over the world we all feel it !
What a lovely idea!! I am going through breast cancer right now. Had 16 weeks of chemo, surgery last week and facing radiation when I am healed up from the surgery, radiation will be for 12 weeks. A beautiful thought and a beautiful gesture. Thanks for sharing!! I enjoy so many of your videos and have learned a ton. 🤗
💗💗💗💗💗💗 pink hearts to support all those survivors, fighters and those who ate passing through some bad time. Thanks Jenny for this wonderful video. I'm looking forward to working this pattern. God bless you 💗💗💗💗💗💗

Jenny - you are so amazing!! Love this video and am ordering the half-heart pattern. And, I totally understand about feeling the emotion. Some of us are more empathetic than others and can feel those things. Thanks for this video!
I love this episode, message, the quilt, the story and all the heart appliqués! So beautiful. 💕 I was very inspired I’m making pillow cases right now with four hearts that I machine appliqué with tiny stitches around all the raw edges with borders and binding! Love your show so much I ordered some items from you across thousand miles, scheduled for arrival this week! 💜
Probably one of my favorite tutorials you’ve ever done! I have several people in my life who are either fighting or are survivors of cancer, especially breast cancer. This is a fantastic gift, even if it’s just for someone who is going through a rough time. Thank you so much for sharing your talent, your ideas and your stories with us! ❤️
I love this quilt. I normally like to hand appliqué but I don’t think I would want to do that many by hand. Wonderful idea and wonderful story. Thanks for sharing!
Love it. Such a sweet quilt. This pattern would be great made small, then add some of your blocks in texture for a sensory quilt. For baby or Alzheimer’s. Perfect lap quilt for the elderly as well. God bless all those fighting Breast Cancer. May they forever keep that power. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
That's beautiful Jenny. My mother I a 3 time cancer survivor. She had breast cancer when she was pregnant with me. Cervical cancer when she was pregnant with my brother and now she's got melanoma skin cancer and shes 65 I think lol. So far it's all under control her doc says and it isnt spreading and they think they have removed all of the cancer cells. Very nice and well done. God bless y'all at MSQC.
Such a beautiful way to show our support for loved ones living with cancer (or any health struggle!). I love all your videos but this one touches my heart in a special way that I really needed today. Thank you 💕💗💕
I had Brest cancer surgery, three years ago and my sweet friend, Debbie, made me the quilt with the ribbons on it and the quilter, used the breast cancer ribbon pattern to quilt it. I took it with me when I went to the hospital and got, so many compliments. Good luck to everyone, having to go through this. Be tough!!!
What an awesome Quilt. I'm a big believer in Prayer. What a perfect way to express and send your strength to loved ones battling this disease. Thanks Jenny, My Prayers and Support. James
Dear Jenny I made my version of this quilt for my granddaughter several years ago. Mine is made with floral fabric, all pinks , on white background. My great granddaughter’s have delighted in the quilt . I think this one is the best way to show support for the survivors
A beautiful quilt with a beautiful sentiment. Your empathy and understanding of how words can help to heal shone through Jenny. This video is simply stunning in all respects ☺️

Be tough!!!
