other reasons the hunter is a good starting class is that animal fur and animal fat sell for quite a good sum to traders and stack in high amounts, and animal fat can also be used to craft torches and candles for more money if you get alot of it, and meat is always a blessing to have alot of, boiled meat gives both food and hydration
Best starting class is security imo. Insane defense, ability to wear heavy armor as if it were light. Massive increase in inventory space. Machine gun mastery
Biggest tip I can think of when first starting out in DF is to read the journal entries. Khaine has done a great job of covering some of the essentials. You mentioned the 'head through the ground' exploit but there is another exploit for iron. Crafting 500 Forged Steel costs 5000 iron. If you then scrap that 500 Forged Steel you will get back 7500 iron. No need for mining iron ever again (bloody screamers!)
You can also dig out that line and put farm plots in it to use. The hoed soil only requires that other hoed soil not be right next to it, it doesn't care if there are farm plots next to it and they'll function perfectly fine.
Have to use farm plots, if you throw mushrooms on it you can't harvest them, they end up under the soil, if its not normal ground, but dirt on top of something.
Yes, and they can be made in your inventory from day 1, though it's a full minute per bowl crafting time. Try to get 15 made as soon as you can, as that's their max stack size. You'll never have an issue with hydration as long as there are trees nearby.
Love your vids. You're my new favorite 7 days player. We literally wait on your new stuff... but you're killing me with these switches, lol. If your signal flow was: generator/switch/ junction box/ items You could use one switch to activate every section of say, the electric fences. If you use just one switch, you minimize so many wires and make changing fight positions a much smoother move. Just an idea, but left with much respect and anticipation for whatever is next!
Melee Tip: Spears in Darkness Falls cannot be thrown and right-clicking will use a power attack. Spears fall under bladed weapons like knives and machetes. The first time you find any titanium bolts or arrows, be sure to "open" at least two and craft yourself a titanium spear using the two titanium arrowheads. Super OP melee weapon even at lower levels!
Great guide! I learned all this from watching your D.F. series, but anyone wanting to delve into the dark should watch this vid! I just crafted the Buggy...OMG it is so fast with mods HA HA HA I love D.F. so much!!!
Dye is easy to craft, isn't worth a item spot when you are out looting imo, only safe black dye. 1 water + 1 blue berry = blue dye 1 water + 1 tomato = red dye 1 water + 1 coldenrod flower = yellow dye blue dye + red dye + yellow dye = black dye
Thumbs up as very useful and accurate but Khaine added many more black dye recipes than the 4.1 vers had. In his last vid yesterday even Khaine briefly forgot that so no criticism :P
@@purpuradraco3747 suuuuuper thankful for all the new recipes... never knew what to do with all the brown dye i was finding, now i can just mix it with blue! :D
For dye go to a savage country and take all of the clothes home and strip them of their dye, did this for one store and have enough ink for 5 players to each have 2 class books
Wow, I wish I would've watched this sooner cuz I'm on day 20 watching this. Oh well, learning now. Sold/scrapped every steel ammo and rad piece I've found so I'll have to start opening/keeping those.

Not sure if this is still a thing, but football players used to have aura effect boosting speed of nearby hordemates, always take them out first to slow down your pursuers. Kinda like how nurse has healing aura
Fron the Discord FAQ: What are the zombies buffs? Some zombies provide buffs to other zombies: Nurses/Doctors - Regenerate health to nearby zombies. Footballers - Increase nearby zombie speed. Cheerleaders - Increase nearby zombie jump height/distance. Edgar/Fat guy - Increase nearby zombie damage.
I am always playing catch up in watching you guys, ergo my belated like and comment. I so appreciate the work you put into this Tips and Tricks! trader Caitlin in the wasteland can have class mastery books for sale. with a cigar and both trade skills maxed out (barter and charismatic), one mastery book will cost less than 50k dukes. she also has all kinds of ressources for sale, and big stacks of them too, in case you are at a bottleneck
Man once i finish exams at the end of June i will play Darkness Falls again with Combo pack. Nice tips sir, i can't wait for church rebuild in your next video and grand finale. I really hope that you and Glock9 will continue to do series on Darkness Falls mod until Alpha 21 hits.
If you want even more of a challenge, go 'Dark Sorcery' (i.e. Darkness Falls + Sorcery mods). Nerdlette did a playlist for A19: ruclips.net/p/PL1uelA3gfmH1RnVh5PRlHS_yEVtQk7NP6 It really fits well with the additional monsters/etc. of DF and who *doesn't* want to put the smack down on a screamer with a meteorite?
Great job! Lots of great info here! One thing though, just like the nurse can heal nearby zombies the football player can make nearby zombies run super-fast. Also, Trader Hugh's compound isn't safe from zombies, they climb right over the wall.
All the trader compounds are death traps once the spikes break down. Hugh's is objectively the worst of the bunch. Hugh = climbable walls, Jen and Rekt = too many protrusions and blind spots, Joel = gaps they can crawl through. Bobs is the better of the bunch having a mostly smooth outer wall and chain link fencing you can shoot through, but still a death trap. They would all be improved with 'murder holes' (machicolations), smooth outer walls and fewer blind spots.
@@stevedixon921 Khaine has upgraded Joel's compound, it's weakness is still low walls that zombies can get over if they stack. Jen's is good and it has that walkway around the whole perimeter. Rekt's is vulnerable, like you say too many blind spots, Bob's has blind spots but is better than Rekt's imo. Rekt's is good for farming though. Hugh's remains a death trap even though Khaine did some modifications to it.
just a protip: Yoru 'ideal' farming lane setup isn't the ideal, but close to. You can ALSO hoe a raised section every second block down your "empty" lane. This gives additional planting space in the same area. As plants remove a water source when they use it, it pays to have plenty of water source blocks so your plants are never waiting for it. So even better is to dig out a 1-2 blocks space UNDER your entire farm and placing rain catchers every few blocks, to let the water flow out around it. This produces more than one water source per plant, ensuring every plant never run out of water. (keeping in mind soil can only support 2 blocks horizontally, so ensure you have vertical support at no more than 5 of soil across.
You have gained a NG & S follower for sure. I subed to your channel as soon as I watched your first 7d2d video. highly informative. The DF series was primo. thanks for all the tips. Peace and Hair grease ✌️
Pro tip blade master (& similar perks) is OP af in the early & mid game. Also you level up specific things by using them. You'll see that right away so if you're primarily melee oriented I still recommend using guns on horde nights so that when you really start needing them late game you're not severely underdeveloped & fail spectacularly
not 100% certain for v20... but in v19, the submachine gun gave skill xp to and got benefits from both the handguns and automatic weapons perks, too... other weapons may do the same, but untested... m4 = rifles and auto?
Dude, this is an AWESOME video. This will help so many people start darkness falls... Only wish I had it when I started... lol... Keep up the awesome vids. If I could give it 10 thumbs up, I would.
i'm surprised stun batons weren't mentioned, alone they're an ok weapon, but with a repulsor mod you can knock down and ragdoll even titans and behemoths (unsure about the red one though), making it an absolutely great weapon if you're running from a group of zombies or using a melee base, the sledge turret mod "power blow" *snickers* is also amazing at this, but only when used by the player, on its own it shows no additional ragdoll/kickback (whereas when used by the player if you aim up you can launch zombies a football fields distance rather comically)
Note: You can craft gun parts if you find (or purchase) a Portable Lathe. That becomes an important mid game workstation to crank out gun parts to make lower tier weapons into... You can increase an item's tier by combining 2 of the same item at the standard Workstation ( in the A, B, C slots) without losing any tiers (as happens when using a repair kit). You can INCREASE an item's tier up to level 40 at the standard Workstation. But... BEWARE... if you increase an item's tier above it's current tier... while it has mods on it YOU WILL LOSE THE MODS. At least that's how it worked in the past. Remove ALL your mods if the tier increases! The Laser Workstation (this can be found or purchased from Caitlin for like 100K dukes or something) allows you to increase an item's tier up to level 80 (with a Mastery Perk, otherwise tier 70).
as for crafting time, the perks (armor crafting tool crafting etc those) also give reduced crafting time, 1% per skill in each up to another 25% off, super helpful late game!
Dont build the standard writeable storage chests. The lockable ones have greater storage for the same space, and in this game you need a LOT OF STORAGE SPACE. You can easy craft signs to label them so its not a huge problem. Food is important early game. First day, try to grind out the class quests, most, if not all of them, will reward you with two rations you can just eat, and some murky water if you have had bad luck finding stuff for some reason. That should be enough to get you past the first night, if not, then buy out the vending machine and make clay bowls.
I have an optimization to your farm. The developer of darkness falls did a Collab with a smaller RUclipsr explaining how to make the most optimal farm and how all the higher level tech works. Since plants consume water to grow, if you want max efficiency you either need to build in rows for grow efficiency or create 5*5 water pools under your farms with a vent above the rain catcher. You can also put and irrigation pump and a water source 4 blocks away from your farm and run irrigation pipes under your farm. I have just started tearing but my crops are growing a lot more consistently with both methods. Though irrigation pipes have been giving weird results underground. I was testing putting irrigation pipes two blocks away from each other since the dev said plants check the diagonals but I have noticed sometimes the outer plants don't grow, so putting them every other row is probably better. It's very expensive on iron but it makes the farm look much better and is much more space efficient.
My little boy wakes up asking to watch your videos. He wouldn't watch this one, not enough monsters in the thumbnail. He didn't care that there's a big one, he wanted the last episode of the series again, with the three monsters and no giant numbers in it.
MORE lol we need all the info you can help with, great video I'm think9ing of taking the journey into darkness falls, it looks really fun the way you do it. i think i have hit a wall in vanilla,
There is another exploit while you are digging. If you dig a block and crouch in it, you can see what is happening at the surface as show in the video PLUS you can shoot enemies with bow/crossbow or guns to the zombies at the surface without they fight back.
Thanks Tem, I'll just be parroting but it's great list, well organized and informative. Should almost hide that vehicles sputter on blood moons but that would be understandably troll-ey.
When you have the means, build a dirtbike. Low storage but amazing for just getting places quickly... like supply drops or opening trade routes. The buggy is the beefier version of that and then the Marauder. All have amazing speed and mobility over hills and rough terrain.
You should mention that all of those are mechanic only. Actually the Dirt Bike has not THAT awesome speed, but ofc is great for offroads. I personally like a Rat or a Junker as replacement when not going completely offroad. Also I personally would chosse between Buggy OR Marauder as they both need Master Mechanic.
What about the MD500 helicopter? A true VTOL machine you can actually land on top of POI's (with some proactice). Bloody expensive but you have to spend your cash on something
You can dig a 5 by 5 area two blocks down. Then set wood blocks around the perimeter then fill in the space with farm plots, (At the block level not in the hole itself) Except the middle one. Then place a rain catcher down the center one in the bottom of the hole. You will beable to grow 24 crops in that area. That is how Khaine does his farming. That way you do not have to have the unused row. And only one rain catcher is needed per area.
Be sure to cover the rain hole with a bars or railing block for personal safety. I use this method too, using hoed dirt for early game, and eventually replacing with plots as I can build them. Not sure if plants grow differently with plots or not, but if you like the look of using just plots go for it. Four of these farm holes is often enough (that is 56 hoed dirt plots or up to 96 farm plots). The farm method, as demonstrated in this video, is much quicker to make, but I find the water supply can be a bit unreliable. It comes down to esthetics versus time, they both work well. Once you have the steel hoe you need very little to keep yourself well fed. I played a map with the only bobs boars in the rad zone but found two super corns in random loot and turned 2 super corn into over 24 seeds in about a week. Tip: once you have a vehicle and hunting knife or scrap machete take a tour of the desert biome sticking to the roads, PLENTY of rotten flesh available in gore piles, plus the birds keep attacking (meaning even more rotten flesh). Spend one day harvesting gore and birds and buy some clay soil from a trader and you'll have plenty of plots for growing stuff in just one day of effort.
It starts out at Warrior. At Warrior, zombies takes 25% less damage from non headshots. At Insane difficulty, zombies take 75% less damage from non headshots. Unlike vanilla, the only difficulty where zombies do more damage to you is on Insane. The different difficulty levels mainly cause the harder zombies/enemies to start showing up sooner.
12:04 Could have sworn you tried stacking them in your DF series and they didn't stack up to 30 min but just refreshed the buff to 15. 12:54 Didn't you also try this and it wouldn't allow you to equip it on the weapons you used that used steel casing ammo?
I was wondering, can you use titanium darts in turrets? Also, one thing I've noticed and seems to isn't mentioned anywhere - demonic regen is disabled only for the 90s.
- On default loot settings, even with max difficulty, there is so much loot that you can completely IGNORE food, drinks, meds, tools and mods crafting. You will be swimming in everything to the point where you'll scrap or simply ignore majority of items you find. Loot abundance is one of the major weak points of DF, especially when combined with cheat POIs brought by CompoPack. - Farmer is one of the worst starting classes unless you like digging in the dirt or like shotguns - Your crafting priority should be ammo, more ammo and then more ammo. When you think you have enough, double it. And then double it again. - AP ammo is the king - M4A1 is THE weapon for midgame, followed by coilcarbine and lasercarbine for the endgame - Screamers are issue only in 2 situations - mining and when using big forges. Big forges especially attract screamers like nothing else, don't be surprised to have 3+ screamers show up at your base if you have multiple big forges running. - I recommend playing with lower XP multiplier (50% works the best for me)
Oh god you are so right. On vanilla I play at 300% just to make it harder faster and speed towards endgame. You absolutely can not do that in DF without completely ruining your game and requiring a new game. You simply level up too fast and cannot gather resources fast enough to survive the increasing difficulty.
I dare to disagree with some of your opinions. While I do agree that Farmer is not the strongest starting class, Farmer is mid tier in soloplay, for me Scientist and Survivalist are worse starter classes. And you completely ignore the really good Shotgun Perk of the Farmer. Additionally, if you dont have Rekt as Starter Trader, getting higher Wellness can be a bit tough without Farmer. And you dont get lots of Wellness Boosters in Loot. I can agree that there is no absolute need to craft Tools and drinks, handcrafting certain food (for wellness) and handpicked Mods (like a Silencer) can help a lot. Narrowing it down to Ammo Crafting might fit your playstyle, but i dont think that it is an absolute MUST do until Coil Ammo. I normally do well without regular ammo crafting. ;) While the Carbines are in fact strong weapons and the M4 is AWESOME, for me Shotguns do a better job in many situations. ;)
@@dateech3847 Even if you do have rekt farmer is nice. Harvest his crops once you get your iron hoe and you have enough corn and potatoes to have a nice early start on your farm. And shotguns are a pretty great weapon imo. Especially for early to mid game till you can get those carbines and such.
Don't be offended. Put your videos up against the Monday crowd. Your video product is way better than most. I've watched Glock since day one. His vids are epic but not always back then. Just like everyone. Great job on your evolution. 👍👍👍
Thank you for this awesome guide! I have 2 questions: What is the food item, that gives you the buff from the Oh Shitz Drop candy? It wasn't in the list. Or is that not in DF anymore? 2. Is it possible to have plants grow and have the beehives, chicken coops and snare traps work in the Wasteland or is that biome deadly for everything? Oh, and if farms work, what happens to the scarecrow, as it is another entity?
After watching the Neebs crew play this mod I was keen to give it a try but it's just too much over my head on how to just install the thing, maybe in 2040 they might have some Steam workshop support. Alpha 26 by then?

I’m not sure if anyone mentioned it but the brass catcher mod actually has an advanced version that’s gives 100% chance for casing to be returned
Greetings from France :)
2:35 New tips : You can put mushrooms on the empty line ;)
It grows and it's safe for others plants
You can also dig out that line and put farm plots in it to use. The hoed soil only requires that other hoed soil not be right next to it, it doesn't care if there are farm plots next to it and they'll function perfectly fine.
Have to use farm plots, if you throw mushrooms on it you can't harvest them, they end up under the soil, if its not normal ground, but dirt on top of something.
Just got into darkness falls, so glad you just made an awesome starter guide
Just a tiny forgotten thing for Bow of sap - it also provides short stamina bonus.
Yes, and they can be made in your inventory from day 1, though it's a full minute per bowl crafting time. Try to get 15 made as soon as you can, as that's their max stack size. You'll never have an issue with hydration as long as there are trees nearby.
This video was simply awesome. I’ve played DF off and on for a while and there were definitely things I learned!!
Thanks!
Love your vids. You're my new favorite 7 days player. We literally wait on your new stuff... but you're killing me with these switches, lol. If your signal flow was:
generator/switch/ junction box/ items
You could use one switch to activate every section of say, the electric fences. If you use just one switch, you minimize so many wires and make changing fight positions a much smoother move. Just an idea, but left with much respect and anticipation for whatever is next!
I enjoyed when you killed Trader Wrekt, then when you showed us that you had to spawn him in to remind us that you liked him. That was a nice touch
Just started playing DF this week. I’m hooked on it. But man, if I knew all this to start. I’d be doing much better. Great content my dude
Love my titanium spear!
Great vid man! I have like 1500 hours in DF and there were a few in here that I did not know. The big one for me was the blood draw mechanics.
Wow I don't even have that many hours in 7dtd, but all 1500 in one easy mod? Not for me lmao
1 water + 1 blue berry = blue dye
1 water + 1 tomato = red dye
1 water + 1 coldenrod flower = yellow dye
blue dye + red dye + yellow dye = black dye
Thumbs up as very useful and accurate but Khaine added many more black dye recipes than the 4.1 vers had. In his last vid yesterday even Khaine briefly forgot that so no criticism :P
That's in the Chemistry Station, if you only have the campfire you will need 3 of each ingredient.
@@purpuradraco3747 suuuuuper thankful for all the new recipes... never knew what to do with all the brown dye i was finding, now i can just mix it with blue! :D
Also, grass + water = GREEN dye. Green + Red (tomato) = BLACK dye. 1 Black dye (at a chem station) = The Precious Ink.
For dye go to a savage country and take all of the clothes home and strip them of their dye, did this for one store and have enough ink for 5 players to each have 2 class books
GNS riding an air supply drop is the best part. Great job on the editing and the content is good too.
Wow, I wish I would've watched this sooner cuz I'm on day 20 watching this. Oh well, learning now. Sold/scrapped every steel ammo and rad piece I've found so I'll have to start opening/keeping those.
Superb overview/tutorial on DF. It took me MONTHS to uncover various things you covered in this one vid. Anyone new to DF should take notes, don't play Permadeath until you get the hang of it.
Personally, I enjoy DF more than Vanilla. Thanks Tem for this tutorial.
I'm still trying to figure everything out in the vanilla version. That being said I appreciate you making this list. I'm listening to it now because I want to be ready when I finally decide to download darkness falls. Nice video, thank you!
Definitely way too many major changes for me to switch into Darkness Falls. I could literally create a list of all the things I saw which are unacceptable and in some cases just silly.
@@NTJedi game is 10x better with darkness falls no question
I desperately needed this, so this is highly appreciated. Keep up the great series!
And maybe help dunces like me with more tips if you think up any more. 😉
Excellent starting guide!! The only tip i can give is Embrace your self and join the order of steel!
Not sure if this is still a thing, but football players used to have aura effect boosting speed of nearby hordemates, always take them out first to slow down your pursuers. Kinda like how nurse has healing aura
Fron the Discord FAQ:
What are the zombies buffs?
Some zombies provide buffs to other zombies:
Nurses/Doctors - Regenerate health to nearby zombies.
Footballers - Increase nearby zombie speed.
Cheerleaders - Increase nearby zombie jump height/distance.
Edgar/Fat guy - Increase nearby zombie damage.
This is the kinda content I wanna see more of mate!
Great job as always. A really nice and well packed guide!
the blood bag tip reminds me of when they were first put into the game. used to harvest ourselves for a stable food supply. we were delicious.
This video is amazing and educational. It's the best video out there for Darkness Falls. No doubt you're going to get a ton of views.
I am always playing catch up in watching you guys, ergo my belated like and comment.
I so appreciate the work you put into this Tips and Tricks! In my nerdom, I slow-mo’d through the foods and created a spreadsheet so I could script a filter for ‘Wellness’, ‘Health’, etc. based on the ingredients I have att.
TY again!
👍
My pleasure! This vid might not get many views but at least it's helpful for those who watch it 😛
trader Caitlin in the wasteland can have class mastery books for sale. with a cigar and both trade skills maxed out (barter and charismatic), one mastery book will cost less than 50k dukes. she also has all kinds of ressources for sale, and big stacks of them too, in case you are at a bottleneck
You've come a long way from dying of food poisoning on the first day Tem, can't wait got more vids and even a possible second DF series
This is hilarious and really good stuff! Keep it up Sir Tem! Always love coming back for that feel good content!
Really good video, best I have seen for this mod. Thanks for posting! :)
just a protip: Yoru 'ideal' farming lane setup isn't the ideal, but close to.
You can get a laser workbence from Jen later in the game but it is expensive.
This has legit interested me and some friends to play. Great vid dude. 👊
You should!
i'm surprised stun batons weren't mentioned, alone they're an ok weapon, but with a repulsor mod you can knock down and ragdoll even titans and behemoths (unsure about the red one though), making it an absolutely great weapon if you're running from a group of zombies or using a melee base, the sledge turret mod "power blow" *snickers* is also amazing at this, but only when used by the player, on its own it shows no additional ragdoll/kickback (whereas when used by the player if you aim up you can launch zombies a football fields distance rather comically)
Darkness falls is literally an entirely different game. Thank you for the guide!
Love Your Videos Man ❤
I appreciate that!
MORE lol we need all the info you can help with, great video I'm think9ing of taking the journey into darkness falls, it looks really fun the way you do it. i think i have hit a wall in vanilla,
Loved this video. So helpful. Thanks a million
Tip from me.. Feral Sense is a pain in the ass. lol
Thanks Tem ill be sure to apply the tips over to my playthrough :)
baked potato best food early game, and also if you don't have any water supply, u can cook yucca drink just yucca and empty jar
Even if you can't find water early on you can fill jars or bowls from fire hydrants and/or craft a rain catcher.
Also I personally would chosse between Buggy OR Marauder as they both need Master Mechanic.
also you will need a stack of repair kits to keep the buggy functional
@@dateech3847 the old semi is the way to go . . . its fast enough, has tons of storage and it doesn't waste away as fast as the others
@@Shirden I learned quickly to resist the urge to run over zombies. Once you actively avoid hitting things, it lasts surprisingly long.
What about the MD500 helicopter? A true VTOL machine you can actually land on top of POI's (with some proactice). Bloody expensive but you have to spend your cash on something
Working oven.. doesn't seem to generate heat like a campfire and often requires less resources, less time, or both.
Knowledge dense! lol Thank you for this
You can dig a 5 by 5 area two blocks down.
This will help me a lot for my first playthrough
ok that was cool!!! 😎
make more guide please... thats so needed
Thank you, great compilation.
This mod pack is so extensive, its almost a stand alone game at this point!
really really really helpful video. Thank you.
Plan on a new version of Darkness falls tips?
Quite a few usefull tidbits :) thank you
Awesome info, Thanks!
@11:22 One can also make Generic schematics from skill notes.
They actually only require paper, ink, blue dye, and quill
@@GunsNerdsandSteel Yes, you are right, they do require paper, not Skill Notes ... I must be going senile ... or blind ... or both ... ;)
thank you very much, this is really helpful!
my brain hurts from how this guide was formatted.
Amazing video!
Put the chicken coops inside when you get a base going, the zombies will attack and destroy them if they're left outside.
very good video for beginners thank you for your effort
Dude thank you, I need this haha
if you're on a higher difficulty (nomad i think is where it starts), zombies and demons take significantly less damage from anything except headshots
Make a murky water pit in your base. Dig a hole and drop a rain catcher in the center. No need to carry around empty jars looking for water.
9:50 this odd birds sound at 12pm are in vanilla too...
Lots of great info
"Be sure to check sell prices" - Ah yes, Tem learned his lesson after dropping those 7 bellows on the ground lmao
What would I use to connect two devices such as Solar panels together into the battery backup and generator?
12:04 Could have sworn you tried stacking them in your DF series and they didn't stack up to 30 min but just refreshed the buff to 15.
12:54 Didn't you also try this and it wouldn't allow you to equip it on the weapons you used that used steel casing ammo?
I was wondering, can you use titanium darts in turrets? Also, one thing I've noticed and seems to isn't mentioned anywhere - demonic regen is disabled only for the 90s.
You cannot use titanium darts
- On default loot settings, even with max difficulty, there is so much loot that you can completely IGNORE food, drinks, meds, tools and mods crafting.
You will be swimming in everything to the point where you'll scrap or simply ignore majority of items you find. Loot abundance is one of the major weak points of DF, especially when combined with cheat POIs brought by CompoPack.
- Farmer is one of the worst starting classes unless you like digging in the dirt or like shotguns
- Your crafting priority should be ammo, more ammo and then more ammo. When you think you have enough, double it. And then double it again.
- AP ammo is the king
- M4A1 is THE weapon for midgame, followed by coilcarbine and lasercarbine for the endgame
- Screamers are issue only in 2 situations - mining and when using big forges.
one thing that i hoped was in the vid but wasnt was tips on progression i seem to be locked out of progressing to razor and cant figure it out /cry.
Have you done enough scout missions? Does your map have razor?
@@GunsNerdsandSteel map doesn't have razor and im at 33 rep rn
helpfull, yes, better to watch the series to learn first hand, yes!!
Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Is the max character level different in DF?
Bought the game,oh man, so much to learn
Thank you for this awesome guide!
I have 2 questions: What is the food item, that gives you the buff from the Oh Shitz Drop candy? It wasn't in the list. Or is that not in DF anymore?
2. Is it possible to have plants grow and have the beehives, chicken coops and snare traps work in the Wasteland or is that biome deadly for everything? Oh, and if farms work, what happens to the scarecrow, as it is another entity?
Where's the open all function . . . EPIC oversight IMHO!!!
What is the song used in the intro of the video? I've heard it in videos Welyn has made, but i've NEVER found the name, it's such a bop!
.....like pumpkin man welyn?
@@atomicrc_8303 The very same!
After watching the Neebs crew play this mod I was keen to give it a try but it's just too much over my head on how to just install the thing, maybe in 2040 they might have some Steam workshop support. Alpha 26 by then?
