- A short compilation from the Trivandrum Rajdhani in Kerala. The monsoon timetable permits a brief early morning glimpse of God's own country between Kollam and Trivandrum.
The compilation opens with a brief parallel entry into Kayankulam as the Golden Rock WDP3A hauled Trivandrum Rajdhani cruises through Kayankulam and onwards towards Kollam. On the outskirts of Kollam, we are greeted by the Trivandrum Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express, led by an Erode WAP4.
The Kollam Trivandrum stretch is one of the most picturesque aboard Indian Railways. Abundant with sharp curves and lined with coconut palms on either side , the tracks provide a number of sightings of the backwaters, including a glimpse of the magnificent Paravur lake. On the adjacent track, the early morning departures from Trivandrum keep coming by led primarily by Erode and Royapuram WAP4s but there's also an Arakkonam WAM4 and a speedy Erode WDM3 with the Parasuram Express, thrown in for variety.

Best Rajdhani of Indian Railways is Tvc rajdhani. Unlike howrah rajdhani whuch is most priortiest train of IR, tvc raj route is the best

why it runs with diesel locomotive when the tracks are electrified?
This is because in kerala after shoranur Jn , it is not electrified .Since half of the state is only electrified and the train travels through konkan railways which is not electrified .So it prefers diesel loco,other wise it should change the loco at shoranur Jn , which is waste of time.
The loco gets change to wap 5 at vododara junction on way to delhi
Now electrified till mangalore central.... But still uses diesel loco
Even the tvc - gvr intercity up and down runs on WDM3A diesel loco
