I love this video. Very nice. You have shown the beauty of Kerala. One small suggestion, please keep the subtitles on the screen for some more time, so that one can read it.
Best of Indian Railways -- I have travelled from Udupi to Mangalore to Bekal fort by car, I was driving, so I could not enjoy much of the view, after watching this video I came to know about my huge loss, this is way beyond beautiful. many thanks to you. I hope your video is a lesson to people, who spend thousands of rupees to visit Singapore, Thailand etc. and see tall buildings made out of cement concrete.
Views of Arabian Sea through small streams and Rivers are just Marvellous. I've travelled at least 10 times on this route but I've failed to notice them!
Wow, awesome, one of the best rail travel video I have seen. Beautiful houses castled between the trees with farms in front of them, endless palm plantations, the red soil, scenic water bodies appearing one after another, rivers meeting their ends only to be transformed and be part of an ocean/sea, even some stations having lot of greenery around it and last but not the least Enter the Monsoons. I, a travel and nature lover, ashamed of not visiting this rail line/path or even Kerala. Hope one day, I shall to travel and visit those paths blessed with nature.
At 8:38 you can see Ezhimala, beyond the hills you have the Naval Academy, which you can see again from almost southern direction while crossing the valapattanam River @9:45
Bombay film artists and cricketers Please glorify our fantastic Konkan rail route. This is paradise. Countryman, please visit hundreds of beautiful spots and try to avoid foreign expensive tour.

brilliant video enabling n making us see how lovely n beautiful our country is.....God bless u...I'm now more inspired to visit down south definitely..
Come to Kerala... And take ride in train from trivandrum to Kasaragod on day time... Its almost 700 Km... You can see the beauty of Gods own country India...
@Shouvik Banerjee no food ban in kerala...People can eat what ever they want....Beef, chicken, pork, fish etc.... Lots of migrants from Bengal are working in kerala...
Excellent coverage. But you missed the historical Bakel fort and the adjacent beach between Kasaragod and Kanjangadu stations. You could have covered the scenic beauty of Ezhimala soon after Payyannur. The banks of the river Bharathappuzha alias Nila also offer a feast to your eyes between Kuttippuram and Shornur junction. Anyway, nice attempt!!
While the shoot exposing outside view from a running training is an experience, the happenings inside the bogies as well from parking stations would add to the color and avoid boring of external views
Very nicely captured. Like somebody else also commented, it will be good to show stations in full--the shops, the waiting people, the banners, announcements etc. Looks like you stayed outside the compartment's AC for most of the journey :-) Was it recorded in Jan 2017? How many hours did it take to go from MLR to TCR?
When you launch a video like this first let the viewers know the distance between the two destinations . Then the starting time and the names of the important junctions or places the train passes through, frequently mentioning the time of arrival and departure. These are all the fundamentals the video maker should be aware of.
It is a wonderful video. While watching this video I felt that actually as though my self is traveling in that train and enjoying the scenic Beauty of Wonderful Kerala through with my own eyes. I am very thankful to the maker of this video. It inspires and prompts to travel on this railway line early.
None of the skipping stations between the travel is indicated. It would have been better if the same indicated since a travel is expected to know the places
Beautiful, great mother nature smiles with all its beauty. More more people should travel by train so as to strenthen our rail systems. Railway should open Appam food outlets. passengers should enjoy hot appam with Kurma. greatest taste in this planet.
@divineslaughter About 30% of Kerala's population is nurses and doctors. Who will they treat in Kerala without the sick. And In Kerala, where 60% of the total land area is mountainous, industries will be brought in.

Railway should open Appam food outlets. passengers should enjoy hot appam with Kurma. greatest taste in this planet.
kamal Bardia Appam with kurma? It is vegetable stew. Maybe kurma parota is a good alternative.
Good one. But you seemed to be in a hurry. Could not enjoy the beauty of Kerala fully. Keep it slow next time please
