To get radar visible, before switch to local data mode, make sure the radar apear first when online, then turn off local data seting on dji privacy, close the apk and re open, now your radar is back, dont switch to map, or the radar not apear again, if accidently switch the maps, redo again to the first step

Just had my Pro2 mod installed and tested. All I had to do was watching two videos and read some really short texts on their site (recommended). I rate the procedure foolproof. Idiot me had just installed the latest firmware on my Mini2, now I can't mod it crying out loud.

Yeah M1p is still a beast, even by today's standards. The m2p can be fully unlocked with he mod even on the latest firmware. But please! Check the birdmap before updating any firmware. Never update unless absolutely necessary.

Welcome aboard! Unfortunately there is not timescale as there is no clear way to decode and find exploits for the current mini 3 firmware. At least your Air 2 can be fully unlocked. You can take a look at my Dronehacks 1.26 video if you'd like to see how.

Yes it does. Local data mode just prevents data from the internet. So basically, your map might not be able to download but the drone and all its features will still work as per normal.

I replied to your comment. The mods are on the drone and not on the controller. This means that you can go buy the RC Pro since it will not be affected. It will not affect the mods on the drone.

I am looking at getting a Mavic pro2 , my last drone was a Phantom 2 vision + which had a switch on the controller to enable fcc mode pity dji did not just keep this with all the newer drones that they brought out .Great videos .
Dji will not block you. Also you can prevent updates being forced on you or being sent to dji. I have made a video about it. Check it out. Then buy the license and watch my walkthrough video. It has all the steps with the latest version of dronehacks.

Why have you not flown for a month? The local data mode will work yes. BUT with the dji fpv drone you don't need the app. I'm releasing a video in the next week about the new Dronehacks 1.26 unlocking the DJI FPV drone and being able to rollback firmware. So stay tuned.

Great to hear that you're happy with the mod. The latest update prevents anyone from downgrading to the recommended firmware. (but there is a little birdy that told me that that might change very very soon) wink wink. The zoom function should work. What app version are you on?
@Infinity Drones So I just figured it out while checking the version of the app. I'm using a backup phone specifically for my drone, so I think the layout looks a bit different than what I've seen in videos. I can zoom up to 4x in 1080, being the furthest. P.S.-I have version 1.9.4 with no updates available.
If you're modding anything your technically voiding warranty. This however does not modify the firmware at all. I've not heard of anyone having issues with DJI care - but I do not know for sure.

I always do it, but the level at which you want to block it is upto you. But if you have dronehacks then you need to stop firmware updates. That's the big reason to stop updates completely.

Yes for the initial lauch of the products and yes there might be some improvements added in a few of the updates. BUT if your drone is more than a year old chances are that you wont see anything new for it - DJI would just focus on making their new products better. Easy thing to do is to just opent the release notes. When you see nothing new except bux fixes or flight improvements... then you know. They just locking the community out even more.
Later I went back and found the local data turned off. We should be able to block the app from connecting but in ios its not on the list of apps that I can block. They send info to the app and ground you until you update. Any drone connected to a phone is a problem.

Hi there, yes you can. Since DJI pulled their latest release you could upgarde all the way and still do the mod. But I would recommend that you use dronehacks to upgrade your firmware since then you can pick the latest Pre Sept firmware, just to be safe. Hey buddy, I have the old DJI Fly App version 1.5.9(600). Today I sadly lost my hacked FPV in the water. I got a new one on order. If I buy the new License as I did before, and update it before I do anything with the drone, and then activate it with my Fly App afterwards, will the Fly App try to update the App and then mess up my Firmware and update it to the new 0.15? So effectively will it cause 2 new updates one for App and another for the drone as soon as I activate? Thanks mate.
Best thing to do is to activate the drone and as soon as it activates you disconnect the internet (wifi). Do this first, before buying another license. Also check the Dronehacks birdmap to see what versions of firmware are downgradable (you might not have to worry at all)

No it does not. RTH works as normal. No need for a hacked dji app, you can use the official one. If the app or firmware updates then there is a possibility that the hack/mod will be lost (hence me making this video). I'm not saying you will loose it, but there is a chance that DJI will try an block this ofcourse.
@@coachmanos you can try again and it should world. But there is a chance that it will not work anymore (as per my video, you'll see the warnings saying you should not update...). If you're lucky the mod will still work. Please run the mod and let me know if it was successful. You'll know if it was because the mod would either fail while installing or it will be successful.

If you follow this video you'll block all DJI communication and you'll not be able to use your map. BUT this is an EXTREME scenario for those that do not want to be tracked by DJI (I really recommend that you watch it all the way so that you can get all the information and aslo see how it works). If you just do the mod as per my video: ruclips.net/video/XJTFIbes8sA/видео.html You don't need to make any changes. Just do not not update your firmware or DJI Fly app. I recommend that you put your device in Airplane mode before you fly so that DJI cannot call home. I've been using this for a long time and EVERYTHING works like normal if you do not want to disable privacy settings etc. Remember, the only way the mod will stop working is if you update the firmware or app. If you don't then it will continue to function as per normal, exactly the way you are use to.

@@Bombaybadboy007 There are no such thing as stupid questions. What I mean by that is that when your DJI Fly app has internet connectivity it can send data back to DJI (headquarters). If the app cannot do an update (happens everytime you open the app), then it cannot check for new firmware updates or send data back to DJI. Meaning your mod is safe and DJI cannot force you to update your app or firmware. That is why Local Mode is the best solution as it blocks everything. But most people want to have access to the map etc. So for them the best solution is to put the device into Airplane mode so that there is no internet connection. Hope that helps. Let me know if that all makes more sense?

I read all over the net that the latest firmware update version 1.4 causes problems with mini signal and it caps the altitude at 15meter! Has anybody you know of that had a mini 2have this problem and what version are they running. Because after ou install update 1.4 it prevents you from reverting back to previous versions.... NEED HELP! I have a Mavic Mini 2 with acft firmware version 01.05.0000 according to Birdmap it says "Only Android app available for this firmware". I have an iPhone are there any other solutions or am i just SOL?
I'm sorry man, the dronehacks companion app is only for Android. Apple is the issue here... only solution here would be to get a cheap android phone that you can use to just enable what you need enabled and then switch back and fly with your iphone

You're flying the fpv drone so it's normal. I recommend to never update anything if at all possible. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The fly safe database essentially is the no fly zone database... So definitely do no update that.

@@Thesilentwolf7610 With the Dronehacks mod the drone will not "see" any zones, it will just fly :). The Fly app will still show the zones for safey's sake, but it will not block the drone from flying normally in any zone. Go fly it like you stole it. Remember, DO NOT update your firmware. Yeah! I've also dived into the FPV Rabbithole and I'm in love. Lots to learn. But for the DJI owners out there, this might be the only way they can keep control of their drones without DJI completely taking over.

Hi there. The newer drones don't use a switch. All you need is the mod on the drone, the drone will tell the controller everything.

That's why you can turn your phone into airplane mode. Or use the other options I showed in the video like local data mode etc.

Hey buddy, I have the old DJI Fly App version 1.5.9(600). Today I sadly lost my hacked FPV in the water. I got a new one on order. If I buy the new License as I did before, and update it before I do anything with the drone, and then activate it with my Fly App afterwards, will the Fly App try to update the App and then mess up my Firmware and update it to the new 0.15? So effectively will it cause 2 new updates one for App and another for the drone as soon as I activate? Thanks mate.
Best thing to do is to activate the drone and as soon as it activates you disconnect the internet (wifi). Do this first, before buying another license. Also check the Dronehacks birdmap to see what versions of firmware are downgradable (you might not have to worry at all)

No it does not. RTH works as normal. No need for a hacked dji app, you can use the official one. If the app or firmware updates then there is a possibility that the hack/mod will be lost (hence me making this video). I'm not saying you will loose it, but there is a chance that DJI will try an block this ofcourse.

@@coachmanos you can try again and it should world. But there is a chance that it will not work anymore (as per my video, you'll see the warnings saying you should not update...). If you're lucky the mod will still work. Please run the mod and let me know if it was successful. You'll know if it was because the mod would either fail while installing or it will be successful.

If you follow this video you'll block all DJI communication and you'll not be able to use your map. BUT this is an EXTREME scenario for those that do not want to be tracked by DJI (I really recommend that you watch it all the way so that you can get all the information and aslo see how it works).

You don't need to make any changes. Just do not not update your firmware or DJI Fly app. I recommend that you put your device in Airplane mode before you fly so that DJI cannot call home.
I've been using this for a long time and EVERYTHING works like normal if you do not want to disable privacy settings etc. Remember, the only way the mod will stop working is if you update the firmware or app. If you don't then it will continue to function as per normal, exactly the way you are use to.

@@Bombaybadboy007 There are no such thing as stupid questions. What I mean by that is that when your DJI Fly app has internet connectivity it can send data back to DJI (headquarters). If the app cannot do an update (happens everytime you open the app), then it cannot check for new firmware updates or send data back to DJI. Meaning your mod is safe and DJI cannot force you to update your app or firmware. That is why Local Mode is the best solution as it blocks everything. But most people want to have access to the map etc. So for them the best solution is to put the device into Airplane mode so that there is no internet connection.

I read all over the net that the latest firmware update version 1.4 causes problems with mini signal and it caps the altitude at 15meter!
Has anybody you know of that had a mini 2have this problem and what version are they running. Because after ou install update 1.4 it prevents you from reverting back to previous versions....

If you take out the drone from the box as its brand new what firmware version will be on it?
There is no way of knowing what firmware will be on the drone when you unbox it. All you can do is hope.

I'm sorry man, the dronehacks companion app is only for Android. Apple is the issue here... only solution here would be to get a cheap android phone that you can use to just enable what you need enabled and then switch back and fly with your iphone

At present the Mini 2 SE is not yet supported. But pleade keep an eye on the Birdmap that shows all of the supported drones and mods.

You're flying the fpv drone so it's normal. I recommend to never update anything if at all possible. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The fly safe database essentially is the no fly zone database... So definitely do no update that.

Hi, when unlocking the drone hacks NFZ does the map color still be, yellow/orange and blue ?
The map and all dji app functions will remain the same :) The drone will just ignore any limitations.

@@Thesilentwolf7610 With the Dronehacks mod the drone will not "see" any zones, it will just fly :). The Fly app will still show the zones for safey's sake, but it will not block the drone from flying normally in any zone. Go fly it like you stole it. Remember, DO NOT update your firmware. I have videos on how to prevent that.
