    Dear Dr.Mandel ... it has been nearly seven months since I met your Channel on RUclips that was a time when I found out no doctors could understand the problem I have. I had some visual problems and I I also had some ridiculous pains and nagging pain around my temporalis area and my jaws as well as my neck.I was somehow desperate until I came across your channel here on RUclips about neck problems and soon after I realized wow my doctors know nothing about neurology. And all they know is money. Once again I really want to appreciate you for all the effort you have made to help us be more aware of what is going on in our body.

    After living with acute pain for several days, I ended up in the emergency room, diagnosed with cervical brachial neuralgia. The only thing they did for me was to fill me up with intravenous painkillers and some antiinflammatory medicine.
    After watching this video and doing this exercise for only one day, even with very restricted moving ability, my pain is almost all gone. It.s unbelievable. Thank you so much!

      @@andrejbatarilo2703 Better late than never right? I have had this for about a year and a half until it started getting better. I did neck PT everyday and once I was healthy enough I started going to the gym again and slowly easing into it. I had many more symptoms however. I also was disabled from it for 6 months. Doing great now, practically back to normal. How are you now that its been a year?

    Three months ago, I had classic symptoms of pinched nerve C-5/6. I figured I'd just wait and it would work out, but then also worried a whiplash from 1980 that has never bothered me, is. Went to acupuncture and a chiro a couple of times, but no relief. Didn't get worse, but didn't go away. Sudden burn in arm and finger then it would dissipate. Annoying. Found these videos and began the stretches, followed recommendations about posture, etc. It took three weeks to see symptoms start to diminish; less frequency, less intense. It is a month now and I have had a few days with absolutely no tingling and burning. Thrilled to share these videos, there is a lot - a LOT of good and educational information here. THANKS!!!!

    Thank you, dr. Mandell. My question is: having pain in the left shoulder and arm...that " glass" on my left palm is kind of falling down, since I can't hold that hand/arm in the correct position due to pain. To try to force and cope with the pain or to do it as well as I can? Or to give up? Very grateful for everything you do, very professional , very clear and makes one feel strongly that you truly care.

  • @lori9774

    Hi! I was wondering if there is anything specific I can do for immediate relief from cervical radiculopathy via c6 and c7 nerve. The pain in my arms is so severe, I cannot hold this phone to type! If I bend my elbows- severe pain, if I straighten- severe pain, and if I just left them flop- severe pain. I had an acdf in c6 & c7, and then a horrid rearending less than a year in that broke my neck and loosed screws, about a year ago. The break appears to have healed well, and a recent MRI doesn't appear to show anything significant, aside from about 4 bulging nerves I believe. I have had 4 ablasions on my right side, but nothing, I mean nothing yields any form of relief. I am desperate. Please, I practice all the exercises I can find daily, yet nothing seems to help. Large quantities of pain killers help a little, but not enough. I can't even feed myself! I feel like a complete invalid, nevermind every moment of every day has killed my psyche as well. I know you most likely will not see this comment, but if anyone does, any suggestions, please help. I beg of you!

    Hello Dr. The exercise described In this video causes increased pain when performing them. Specifically the neck back motion that causes the burning and tingling to increase starting at the shoulder and moving down the arm to the hand. Any suggestions or thoughts for me as to why this could be? Thank you for your time.

    • @sergioviccinialonzo501
      @sergioviccinialonzo501 2 года назад

      maybe regress the movement to only doing the chin tuck motion, later on when that doesn't produce any symptoms, move forward to the entire movement with the shoulder blade pinching and all.

    Hei Dr Mandell. I've really been enjoying watching these videos. I've been ill for a year now. Started with a seizure last October which left me with bad vision, tinnitius and cervicogenic headaches. Hasn't gone away yet but I'll give these a go. What I'd like to know is (and I've seen two osteopaths who have told me this) my head posture is too far forward which may have contributed to my problems. It's one thing to do the exercises but when so much of our time is spent looking down at things in our hands how can we avoid neck injuries? All the best.

    Hi Dr Alan, it was great learning so much from your videos. I do experience tingling and numbess on my left hand where numbness is concentrated more on the thumb, index and middle fingers. This numbess is aggravated when i sleep sideways lying on my left. Do you think the cause is from the spinal nerve or could it be just on the wrist ( like a carpal tunnel syndrome). Anyway i can differentiate which is the source of the problem here.

    Hello Dr. Mandell, great videos, I've seen you have made great efforts to improve the quality of your videos, especially on the editing, the new intro and logo are looking great, but you should reduce the volume of the intro a bit and definitely change out-tro. having the logo at the end is great, but please get rid of the stamp animation which looks super datted.

    • @motivationaldoc

      Hi there, just curious are you a videography/video editor? I'm hearing it as you are because you're talking in that language. Just curious. Thanks for the criticism, I have no problems learning from those who are experienced in the field. Pertaining to the outro video had many who liked it although I'm just a rookie editor who learned everything on my own. I do have other outros, why are you against using outros?

    • @miguelmanzo165
      @miguelmanzo165 8 лет назад

      Hello Doctor, not at all, I may be a video enthusiast, but that is as far as it goes. Regarding the outro, I do not have anything against them, on the contrary, I think they are a great addition to every video when used correctly, I just consider the one used in this particular video to be a little out of theme (just to be clear, i´m talking exclusively about the stamp animation) , maybe something more subtle would fit better.
      I have noticed the improvements on the editing of your videos lately, which I think are great since you really have the content to back up a great channel.

      Your pushing to hard. It's a very subtle motion only moving the joints very little.
