I am married to one, and it used to bother me how invested my husband is in his patients out of his office hours. I mean he gives his cell phone number to some patients!!!! I used to hate it because it is my personal time with him. But , I came to the conclusion that this world needs more physicians like them! Specially since I started to have to health issues myself and have suffered the neglect from the modern medical field. Is blessing that I have someone that all he does is taking care his patients beyond almost any circumstances.

Hey. I’m reaching out to you because my mother has been admitted into the hospital with pain in her neck (she couldn’t move it side to side) then it went into her lower back and the neck pain resolved, then it went into her chest just on the right side, then it went into her traps across her upper back. Her pain was so bad she almost couldn’t stand up by herself. She’s 77 and plays pickle ball 3 times per week. The doctors have run every test that they have and have ruled out cancer, meningitis, kidney stones, kidney disease. It sounds like your symptoms are similar to hers.

I have pinched nerve in C5 and this video was 100% accurate to describe my problems with it. My observations from last 3 years with this problem is that best thing you can do is to strengthen your neck muscles and focus on posture. My new daily routine is little bit of self-massage at the back of the neck. Then rotating head to all possible direction, so stretching. And lastly but the most important is to strengthen those neck muscles. I try to rotate my head in different directions and press against that rotation with my hands. Best thing for your health is to activate and strengthen your muscles around the body.

The neurosurgeon said the reason she couldn't walk was a herniated disk and she needed surgery urgently.
Turned out my Mom had another condition, the surgery weakened her and she died.

I’m also suffering the same herniated disc problem and after looking at MRI all doctors strongly pressed me to go for surgery but I’ve taken opinions from physiotherapists as well. They said don’t panic I then trusted them , did physiotherapy regularly , maintained correct posture and get rid of this pain in my left hand radiating from the c7, c8. After referrals from my neurologist, I had MRIs that confirmed cervical radiculopathy at C5-C6 (a pinched nerve). With everything that was happening a co-worker suggested I see an orthopedic doctor, who prescribed 500mg of Naproxen. That made a huge difference, significantly reducing the chest pain. I consulted with every specialist I could get a referral for-some were helpful, others not so much. I also found some support groups on social media, where I have been learning how others manage their pain, which has been wonderful in preparing myself for the challenges of aging. I started writing at the beginning but by the time you got to thoracic outlet syndrome I thought to myself I wish I had you back in 2004/05. I got injured on my job throwing freight (lifting a display) my neck & lower back 5'6, 120lbs 47yrs, excellent shape. Coming up on 19 yrs. Still suffering. It's my Left side C4, C5 & C6. I was born with extra set of cervical ribs. So that's where TOS came in. Said "No" to rib removal surgery. Epidural, steroid injections, steroid pills, massages, over door cervical traction unit I have. Muscle relaxers, percocet, zolpidem - been on it way too long, does something to your brain, not sure how to get off of it.
I actually wore out my left disc on my jaw from grinding in my sleep bc I was in pain, while sleeping. I am in pain all the time, nothing really helps.
The neurologist wanted to go in make more space on the disc where the nerve is compressed. But that didn't happen. I drop things alot with my left hand, sometimes I can't feel the fingers & thumb. There's nothing left to do. I hoped for so long for resolution, it didn't happen.
    Thanks, Doc

Too much bent head readiing of books and phone internet.
    liked the bald tire reference.
    89 years is 89.
Apple cider vinegar, boswellia setrapeptase and will cut out sugar for the holidays.
. Bad auto accidents and bad falls decades ago started my problems, but smart phones are the worst ... Posture issues.
No money for many of us is also an issue, so these videos are truly helpful.

My ortho is a young, incredible surgeon and just knew what I was experiencing so I did get the diagnosis. I don’t want meds, etc. I took muscle relaxers early on but all of that is a bandaid. No one could give me a solution. No one could even give me a general idea on how to treat my healing process. It continues to manifest in the weirdest ways. I found my pec minor-it’s..a rock 😀. I was getting trigger finger- you solved it. And the education on how to anticipate where pain or compression are originating has completely helped me, along with full body gua sha , I am finally feeling like I can heal.

Until my mom was diagnosed later by a different doctor. He told me if I do these certain stretches, I won't need surgery and won't need to see him every other day. It's been 5 years and my back still hurts sometimes but I haven't been immobile from my back going out since then. My mental and body wellness is way better as well. Hey Doc, so you were saying "Come back in 5 years and see all the comments from the youth". Well doc, here I am. 34 years old with disc degeneration, constant pain in my head and neck.
Im sitting with better posture now, but theres no going back. I just hope the pain gets better. Thank god I caught this before any nerve damage....just pain at the moment.

@@gabitsu-ftw3871 I am getting better! I changed my life habits: standing desk, no more looking down (ie: I raised my monitor) and started doing exercises to counterbalance my bad posture.
Its not perfect, but my constant headaches have completely stopped.
I dont want to oversell things, but a short year later my back and neck are greatly improved but it did cost me changing my lifestyle substantially.

    Excellent video!
I pinched my phrenic nerve after a severe coughing attack and suffered 100% diaphragm paralysis. The cervical spine needs protection. I knew an ambulance would be too late so I prayed as I sophocated mid-air and the Spirit instantly told me to hang upside down and relax my muscles. I did it, but it took a lot to relax while I was panicking without air. Forward-head posture can protect this vulnerability. I continued with ice, niacin and gentle inversion therapy, which only requires a 5-6% downward slant for decompression therapy. I used DMSO to heal the swelling the fastest.

So much in this video explains all of my random pains that I had for years. Such an eye opener. Thank you so much. Just received a preliminary diagnosis of cervical radiculopathy and going to PT in a few weeks.

Im one of these people you talk of finding this 5 yrs later. Thankyou for your information. Im sure covid lockdowns and the sociological impacts of that has had a huge impact. For sure ith me, as I have spent a lot of time on my own, with the computer screen as company. My life style has changed immensely (for the worse..) during and since lockdown, (harsh in new zealand where i was ), and i now am diagnosed with oseo deterioration of my c5/c6...suspicious narrowing of the disc between, and bone spurs. I will certainly subscribe and learn more about how to take care of my ailments, and thankyou sincerely for giving m hope and guidance to do so.
