    Professional guitarist for over 20 years here. I've developed numbness and tingling in both arms to the fingers. Bothered me for over a year. Nearly stopped my career. Saw many doctors for 9 months. They never mentioned these stretches at all. Just nerve conduction tests and steroid injections in wrists and elbow. No improvements. Thousands of dollars. I stumbled upon this video 2 weeks ago and I am nearly symptom free already. This has saved my life. Thank you very much for your help. Why didn't anyone from my medical facilities talk about this? I will have serious questions for them in 2 weeks at the follow-up appointment. Are they hiding these simple stretches to keep us from resolving our conditions? I wonder now. Never doubted them before.

      I’m so sorry that those practitioners never mentioned rehab to you. Unfortunately, most medical doctors are not familiar with nerve mobilizations and the fact that physical therapists are trained in these techniques. So glad to hear the exercises in this video helped you!

    I hand milked cows for 10+ years. Developed a terrible tingling pain. Recently it was almost debilitating. I assumed I had carpal tunnel. Did the exercises over the years. They helped a little. Turns out my pain was from the radial nerve. The flossing exercise improved my symptoms immediately. A couple of weeks later, I’m basically pain free for the first time since about 2008. Thank you doesn’t begin to convey how grateful I am for your video. ❤️

    I’ve been struggling this past month all day every day from neck, shoulder and arm pain. Got a CT scan and I have damage in my C5, C6, and C7. I’ve been doing a ton of PT at home myself but haven’t been able to pinpoint where the pain was coming from until trying these. Hurt a lot at first but I eased in and after a some sets of 10-12 I can move my neck much more freely than I have been able to. Hopefully with continued training I can get the numbness in my arm and shoulder to go away. My family has said I need surgery because these type of back injuries run our family and that has been the only solution for them. Fingers crossed not for me. Thanks Doc.

    holy moly, im a meat cutter and I've been suffering from an ache on my right arm for a while now, I thought it was my grip but many of what I saw online didn't help but with this, I just did a couple stretches from here and its day and night difference. it was my radial nerve causes my discomfort and just after doing this once, my arms looser and not painful. ill keep it up, that was awesome.

    I can’t thank you enough for you putting together this lifechanging video! I’ve been suffering for many months, each night getting progressively worse with numbness in all fingers and pins/needles, really affecting my sleep. I’m suffering -- or now I can say I was suffering - from all three nerves being pinched (I was waking up each morning with my hand cramped and curled, with three fingers acting like they were locked…recently, it wasn’t going away during the day and staying cramped and wanting to curl…really scary!). After just one day of doing the flossing it was better! I slept that night for the first time in I can’t remember without terrible pins and needles all night long! I’m writing this on day 3…I just can’t believe my days of suffering are truly over! I’m truly grateful I discovered your video…if you help no one else, know that you helped change my life for the better...thank you!!!🌻

    This is just what I needed. It's amazing what you can find on the Internet. Yesterday I went for my first bike ride in about 25 years and after about a half an hour, I found that my thumb side of my hand was tingling and had a little pain in my elbow. This video shows me that it was my medial nerve. I don't know why it's bothering me at this point in my life at the age of 64 but I'm glad I found this.

    • @RehabScience
      @RehabScience  7 месяцев назад

      I’m glad the video was useful. The position of the wrists when holding the handlebars on a bike can reduce blood flow to the median nerve, which may explain why you developed these symptoms during this activity.

    I can't believe what I am watching. So here is my story: In September 2020, I fell and dislocated my elbow. After the initial night of the accident, I could no longer feel or move my arm and hand. I had an x-ray, and the ER doctor said I had a hair fracture on my elbow, but they did not put a cast. When I saw the orthopedic, he said he was worried and that I needed PT. After doing PT for 4 months, my arm and hand remained numb. So, after requesting an MRI because the pain was under my arm by my shoulder, the MRI came back normal. But I could not lift my arm above my waist. Anyway, the Orthopedic could not help me. He didn't understand why I could not move my arm. He made me feel like I was lying. It took me about 2 years to begin moving and feeling my arm; it still hurts and feels a tingling sensation in my fingers. Sometimes, I'll tighten the sensation in my hand. After so long, you are the first person who describes what I feel and gives an exercise to relieve the pain. Thank you!

    I've been experiencing arm weakening and pain for the past two months and was told it was most likely a muscle strain or I upset a nerve. My anxiety and stress has made everything worse and made me assume I have something life threatening which has been keeping me stressed and miserable. Thank you for putting out videos to help with easy exercises and great explanations. You have helped calm my anxiety and I hope this helps with the nerves :)

Ive been suffering with the numbness, burning/sharp pain, tingling in fingers for about 2-3 weeks now. The worst part about all this is that I’m currently also recovering from a glenoid rim fracture in the right shoulder after a dislocation back in May 2023 which just isn’t healing well with physio. Anyway as you can imagine both arms not fully functioning with 4 children may I add, is very difficult and upsetting.
