Where do you get arm pain? ‘The 3 Essential Exercises EVERYONE Should Do’ …EXCLUSIVE video: stefan-becker.mykajabi.com/3-essentials My COACHING PROGRAM: stefan-becker.mykajabi.com/expressions-of-interest Over 12 weeks, I help people with poor posture, and upper body issues-like neck, shoulder, & upper back pain-improve their health using science-based mobilising, stretching, & strengthening exercises.
shoulder feels like ive got torn rotator cuff.. tennis elbow comes on.. get cramps in my left hand and pins and needles in my fingers.. collar bone area really hurts.. my X-rays show trouble at c5
From the armpit through the elbow but not always into the fingers. My wrists however are always tight and pop when I'm stretching them. Does that suggest more than just an ulnar nerve problem in your opinion?
Had an issue with my left ulna nerve for several years, numbness in the bottom edge of forearm and hand, numbness in pinky and strangely just half of the ring finger on the pinky side. The other side of the finger is fine. Will give the exercise a go. Many thanks for the video, keep up the good work.
I hope this man knows what he’s doing for people who struggle with this. This just started happening to me and I couldn’t imagine dealing with this for more than two weeks. You people are really strong thank you creator
Thank you so much! I had carpal tunnel surgery in 2014 (on both hands) and I've experienced issues with the nerves in my left hand for years. These exercises have helped.
So did the surgery help with the numbness? I've been thinking about surgery, was told i should over a decade ago . But haven't had many more issues till last few weeks. 1st exercise made fingers tingle after 5. .
@@nobody3692 - The surgery helped with the numbness, yes. The issue was that I waited 22 years to get the surgery and as a result my left hand sustained some nerve damage. The right hand was sore for a while but is now perfectly ok. My issues with my left hand are because of the nerve damage, but the surgery definitely gave me back most of the sensation in the left hand as well.
You're reading my mind again, Doc. I'm beyond tired of the ulnar nerve pain in my right arm. I followed along with you as you did all 3. Definitely felt tightness and possibly a bit of release. I'll add these to my daily stretch routine. Any relief at this point would be an improvement. I'll be checking out your program, too. Might be just what im needing. Thank you again for another helpful video.
Cheers Shane! Two major causes of Ulnar nerve pain are (i)leaning on your elbow (on a desk or something right near where the nerve passes over the funny bone), or (ii)bending your elbow excessively (particularly in bed). When you bend your elbow a lot (and lie on it that way) it stretches the nerve over the funny bone, irritating it. So watch out for those two things!
@BodyFixExercises guilty as charged. As a side sleeper, I try to keep my arms extended in front of me throughout the night. And the leaning on my elbows, I do my best to avoid that for the reasons you mentioned. Any pressure causes zingers. I find myself snapping my arm often hoping itll subside. There's nothing like nerve pain.
Good morning Sir. Thanks for this video. I've been suffering from tingling sensation from past one month. Accidentally caught this video and it has helped me a lot. Thank you.
Thank you. For me it must be the Ulnar nerve. 20 years and hundreds of doctors, with so much going on, this takes a back seat while it interrupts my sleep, drawing, writing, playing with kids. This will be a very helpful technique. Thank you. I think I have many pinched nerves with my subluxing tendons. This far in to chronic pain and illness and I’m finally doing all I can to fight back that doesn’t involve begging a doctor to care more, push harder, keep searching for answers. I’m the one who has to live with it, and with resources I am capable of managing more symptoms than I’ve ever realized. Brought my level 10 migraines down from a 10 to a 5 about half of the time from stretching. Problem being I hurt myself too easily then have to pull back and be super careful and build my way up again. Still, positive results, it’s empowering. I’m hypermobile and I think hypermobile EDS but that’ll take a second opinion to know, my rheumatologist doesn’t want to diagnose me with that. Said he doesn’t want me to live up to a diagnosis by taking it on, some are more damaging than helpful and I’m thinking, dude-I’ve been searching for YEARS for answers. It’s SO FRUSTRATING. He said you treat hypermobility the same. Now I’ve just had a (gross-out-warning in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and:) rectal prolapse-I’m 37. Anyway this is going in my routine, along with my new side planks for flank pain. Especially helpful because while those help the flank pain, they aren’t good for my arm numbness. I can do these after. Appreciate the help, thank you! God is good!
!!! I didn't know that this could be "released!" 2020 was particularly memorable not just for the world health problems, but because of a pinched ulnar nerve while having to isolate. Saving this video for next time that nerve decides to cause trouble.
Just did this. Oh my never knew you could feel those nerves when stretching like this. I have a lot of pain down my armes. Right more so then left. Thank you! Will add these stretching techniques to my daily routine.
Tweaked my shoulder a few weeks back picking up my toddler. Found a video that did a test for each nerve. Seemed it might be ulnar so I searched for a specific exercise and found your video. Went away within the first 10 reps! Thanks!!
Thank you!! I have cronic nerve owies in my right arm & the loss of feeling in my rightr hand from knitting. I'm right handed and that's the hand I 'throw' the yarn with. My hands don't just seriously hurt some mornings but I can really feal where the nerves go through my elbow and down from my cranium in my neck "Good morning!!" And,it impacts my quality of sleep. I'm figuring this is a pinched nerve in my neck to some degree, but nothing I've been able to do has relieved the pain to a reasonable degree. These exercises look as though they might just work and I am excited to try them out for a few weeks. Will let you know how that goes.

Thanks for sharing the video. Have suffered for the last two months with forearm pain. The joint between my right bicep has caused me so much pain, spreading the pain to the entire arm….
I can’t thank you enough for this information. 🙏 The pain was so bad it was waking me up at night. I’ve been doing these exercises and it has almost completely gone away now. Thank you for all you do.
I'm having the same problem right now. For the past 2 weeks I've been unable to sleep through the night. Mostly get 2-3 hours of sleep before the numbness, tingling and burning wake me up. How long after doing these exercises did you get relief?
Got pain in my arm a few weeks ago and I thought it was just my infraspinatus had gotten tight but after massaging it didn’t subside. I recently learned of nerve stretching and flossing and found your video and this helped a lot from just following along
thank you so much. I kept waking up last night with both my hands going numb. I'm a cross stitcher and I also sleep with my arms bent. Then this morning while I was cross stitching my right hand kept going number. After a few of the exercises and one from another video it has relieved that issue! Wonderful video! Thank you so much for posting! I have been having the tingling pins and needles feelings in my hands and arms for the past two weeks. It's my own fault, because I've been on my cellphone a lot more than I should be lately playing games and such.
I’m at Type 1 diabetic. Part of my pointer finger went numb after I put my Dexcom on the inside of my bicept and hit a nerve that shot down my arm (ouch). It wasn’t getting better after about a month and I take care of myself blood sugar, diet, and exercise wise. I was like they are going to have to cut my finger off. I heard about that being a problem if you don’t take care of yourself. I started looking at videos to help with this. Your video has helped relieve this within the first 5 minutes. Thank you very much!
Holy Heck!!!! THESE EXERCISES REALLY WORK!!! Thank you so much. I thought I injured my rotator cuff at first then after watching some videos and googling my pain and numbness in my arm I discovered it was a pinched nerve. I searched and came across your video , and have done your exercises for two nights and my pain is almost all gone ( first night I’ve had no pain while sleeping) . Ive had the pain and numbness consistently for 1 1/2 months. It was awful. I’m so thankful for your video. I also bought a posture corrector to wear at work because I think this was the cause of it. Thank you so much. I can’t go to the doctor so I would’ve just lived in pain.
Thank you so much! Ive been feeling pain from my elbow to my thumb for years, and exams dont show anything wrong with nerves or tendons. I'm hopeful your content may help me dealing with these pains
Thank you for sharing this. Im already feeling some relief after doing this for the median nerve, however it seems that one or another of these nerves is constantly getting stuck. I do have cervical neck compression along with bone spurs I’ve been told I have radiculopathy. I do feel like I’ve injured my shoulder and scapular shoulder blade on left arm. P.S. (edit) I had an mri & I’ve just recently went to PT for nearly 3 months , then two injections c-6 c-7
Just stick to the exercises that feel comfortable. Sometimes the nerves are so stuck that they can't be released with this technique and trying to do can irritate them, but if you stick to the comfortable exercises it can really help.
I'm with you. About 2 years ago my right shoulder started to hurt. More so in the front facing side of shoulder. Never recall hurting it. As time went by and a CT scan. It wasn't my shoulder at all but my neck. I would have bet money it was my shoulder. Now that time has passed the nerves that he explains in video is exactly what is giving me trouble. Lots of PT (pool) therapy is the only thing that helps. Good luck and wishing you a pain free day.

I tried this since I have Carpel Tunnel and after 7-8 times I stopped to feel how it was. Yeah not doing that again. It aggravated it enough to cause slight discomfort. Well it was worth a try! Have to get the surgery after all...
Yes, this is important! Sliding nerve along its path down the arm can release it and give amazing relief. But if it's just too compressed to release, you can stretch the nerve and irritate it. That's why I keep repeating "IF it's comfortable..." Don't do it if it feels uncomfortable folks.
I've had to come back to this video again. This time, it's my ulnar nerve, already your exercise has relieved the pain. Old age is playing havoc on my right shoulder 😏
Thank you. I just did all three excersizes and made an immediate help. I will take it easy and won't over do it , but thankfully there is hope for my pain
We left hand left side two finger pain up to sholder ,and Left leg left side pain up to head and head left side one eye one nose and left side of jaw pain from 12 year.
I believe to have the Ulnar Nerve one because it’s affecting both of my ring and pinky fingers on both arms. My left hand has more difficulty trying to do a full grip (numbness feeling) while the right hand isn’t as bad. I don’t know how to accurately describe the pain…It feels like bruising without the actual visuals of a bruising
Can these exercises work for those with HAVS, I over did it with a power sander this weekend and pain/tingling is still there in both hands a little in arms, not as constant of a tingle as the days go on, really hoping I didnt do permanent damage!
On 09/30/2023, I received a "Tetnus shot" that was given in my left arm. Ever since that shot, my upper left arm is tingly/numb, all the way down to the tip of my left thumb. It has gotten better, yet it is still there. Some of my strength has returned, but not all of it. Should I seek legal recourse for this situation ????
I recently had heart surgery and have definitely got the median nerve trapped. I can't straighten the arm like in your video. Should I continue doing what I can without over stretching or wait till I see the surgeon in a few weeks time for my check up. Getting to see a Dr is difficult. Thanks
Thanks alot for this video. I had hurt my arm in gym about one month ago at the cabel machine. This video help me alot. May i also use the "hang dead" to heal more of my arm?
Yes, and this is a point to note. These exercises are designed to free a nerve from adhesions along it's path down the arm, but sometimes the points where the nerve are compressed are just too hard and firm to release with exercises. So if the exercises cause any irritation, stop and see your doctor
Could you say "don't do these if you feel the pins and needles or numbness" BEFORE you demonstrate the stretch? lol I did the stretches as you did them, and felt a lot of needles, but you didn't give that instruction until after demonstrating the stretch. I enjoyed the clear and concise nature of the video. Very helpful!
Whats the reason for this pain i have from 1 year from shoulder blade whenever i work more or go in Ac it pains severely whats the reason am fed up i have lot of works to do, i cant take this
The first hurt when i did that, why would that happen, i have strained feelings with this and already existing tension not only the arm, but, my whole right side waist ro hip effecting lower back this feeling some tension there and now the other side please share some tips going swimming ???
hello. thank you for the excellent video, excellent channel. i'd like to ask a question if i may: my left arm hurts in the morning when i awake, and hurts very badly if i lie on my left side - do these symptoms indicate a particular kind of nerve problem? (doctor assures it's not heart related) thank you. (sorry for asking here, but i'm not on facebook)
Hi. I couldn't really tell just from that info. It could be several things. Including disc bulge, spinal facet joint referral, thoracic outlet syndrome, Pronator Teres Syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome
I just spent 2 days in ER doing MRIs CT Scans a bunch of stuff because my left arm and leg had a falling asleep feeling but the pinky sides of arm and foot went numb and also for awhile left side of my lips. They said not a stroke and sent me home. My lips feel better but still have this weird numb left side of hand and pinky and on left side numb feeling. I think its a nerve but can a nerve be pinched in your arm and hand and leg and foot?
when I did a skullcrusher exercise with dumbbells and i have popping in medial tricep near elbow , then I can't even do push ups, it came out in my medial triceps, now I have a little problem with the ulnar nerve, it hurts me a lot, how can I cure this with what exercises do you suggest? do I have to stretch or is there no other solution except surgery PLEASE REPLY BROTHER❤
I can se My shoulder raise up when i stretch My arm out, and when i move the shoulder down i feel thightness down My biceps and it starts to tingle in the entire arm

Thank you!❤
I recently had heart surgery and have definitely got the median nerve trapped. I can't straighten the arm like in your video. Should I continue doing what I can without over stretching or wait till I see the surgeon in a few weeks time for my check up. Getting to see a Dr is difficult. Thanks
This was helpful 😄
THANKS so much! #1 Works for me but it keeps coming back, I guess it takes awhile

please make video for tennis elbow 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks alot for this video. I had hurt my arm in gym about one month ago at the cabel machine. This video help me alot. May i also use the "hang dead" to heal more of my arm?
do you have any exercises to release the t1 t2 nerve and the pain between the shoulder blades from that nerve
Can cubital tunnel syndrome be completely cured without surgery, with exercises, pain medication, elbow brace...? Thank you
These are hard irriate it more but i am awaiting TOS surgery
Yes, and this is a point to note. These exercises are designed to free a nerve from adhesions along it's path down the arm, but sometimes the points where the nerve are compressed are just too hard and firm to release with exercises. So if the exercises cause any irritation, stop and see your doctor
Any chance you could do a video on tennis elbow?
Yes, I've been meaning to do one. I'll try to get onto it.
Sir plz make the video about the tennis elbow i really need it 🙏

Hello sir i hv so much legs pain and back pain with itchy skin 😢is this cancer related 😢
Help! I feel my chest is pressing. Pain in the palm, arm and back.
If you have rotator cuff issues such as bicep tendinitis do you advise not to strecth
Just don't do it if it hurts
Because of the pain not able to stretch my hand how to get rid of it
When the nerves are too compressed that the stretches are painful, how do you suggest freeing that compression?
Watch my Thoracic Outlet Syndrome video. That's your best bet
What about arm pain that starts with pinched nerves in hip area?
Could you say "don't do these if you feel the pins and needles or numbness" BEFORE you demonstrate the stretch? lol I did the stretches as you did them, and felt a lot of needles, but you didn't give that instruction until after demonstrating the stretch. I enjoyed the clear and concise nature of the video. Very helpful!
🤷🏼♂️
Whats the reason for this pain i have from 1 year from shoulder blade whenever i work more or go in Ac it pains severely whats the reason am fed up i have lot of works to do, i cant take this

I appreciate you sir, I sleep in my left side lot. ib
hello. thank you for the excellent video, excellent channel. i'd like to ask a question if i may: my left arm hurts in the morning when i awake, and hurts very badly if i lie on my left side - do these symptoms indicate a particular kind of nerve problem? (doctor assures it's not heart related) thank you. (sorry for asking here, but i'm not on facebook)
Hi. I couldn't really tell just from that info. It could be several things. Including disc bulge, spinal facet joint referral, thoracic outlet syndrome, Pronator Teres Syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome
@@BodyFixExercises thank you for your kind reply. i guess i'm off to the physiotherapist's office!
is it normal when i feel the pain when doing radial nerve exercise?
A muscle stretch sensation in the back of the forearm is normal
Are these exercises good for post stroke pain?
Rehab after a stroke is not an area I have a lot of experience with, so you have to talk to your doctor about that, sorry
@@BodyFixExercises ...Thank you.
I think its a nerve but can a nerve be pinched in your arm and hand and leg and foot?
great !
Hey, what does it mean if all three excersises bring me relief but bot fully unpinch the nerves
Thank you
A pleasure!
