However, they couldn't figure out what was wrong and I only got temporary relief. after 2 days of watching your videos, my pain has greatly decreased and my strength has returned to my arm. On my second day of doing them, and I haven't needed to take an anti inflammatory or ibuprofen today because the pain has decreased. Wow, wow, wow!!!! With ice packs pressed against the base of my skull, I performed Exercise 1, three times for two days. The tingling, numbness, pressure, and congestion in my ears and at the left rear side of my head, and base of my skull are gone!!! After almost three years of primary care doctor, chiropractor, neurologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist appointments, two rounds of MRIs, hundreds of anti-inflammatory pills, and parting with thousands of dollars looking for help, I have finally found the fix for my “occipital neuralgia” diagnosis! Thank you so much for posting this video. I’ve done many chin tucks and a lot of neck traction during that time, but never lying down and simultaneously, as you demonstrated. This position allowed me to simultaneously apply ice packs, which I think was also very helpful. Wow, praise the Lord!!! 😂

About 25 years ago I had a pinched nerve in my neck so bad that I was losing grip strength in my left hand. While the exercises prescribed by my PT were helpful, the best thing he did for me was to question me about my sleeping position. We figured out that I was often laying on my side but slightly rolled over to the front. This forced my head back, hyperextending my neck and pinching the nerve. He taught me to train myself to sleep on my back with 2 or 3 pillows to keep my chin tucked in. I haven't had any neck/shoulder/nerve issues since.

Unbelievable I’ve been in worsening pain for 18 months!! I was beginning to think there was a more sinister underlying issue , I didn’t have much tingling or pain in my arm as such more a discomfort, the main issues were really sensitive side and top of head and especially base of skull and neck I’ve tried everything to no avail, after the first few exercises especially tilting the head to one side and looking down on the first day I felt immediate relief! Amazing I’ve continued to do so over the past few days and feel like a different person, I think seeing from the model what is happening certainly helped I can now target the area more and more, I’ve had the best nights sleep than I’ve had for months , many many thanks indeed , also this would have cost me a few sessions with a physio at £40 a time I can do these stretches anytime for free so your time is much appreciated

These vertebrae has been a problem for many, many years, sometimes I have to take up to eight pain tablets a day just to be able to function, and sometimes this pain stays for days. And, while it took me the time to write this message, after completing a test run of the exercises, I already experience relief! Thank you for this information and demonstration! I have been suffering from constant tension in my sholderblades, shoulders and neck for 1.5years now. It's like these nots, especially somewhere under my shoulder blade, and it always makes me want to crack my neck or back for a little relief. It began after I fell really hard directly on my right shoulder, incidentally hitting the right bottom back side of my head against concrete. I experienced torturous pain for 3 months, and over the following time the pain became less consistent, but still present during most night, or whenever I would sit for longer periods of time at my desk, or after working out my upper back. I went to hospitals and physiotherapists, but not once did anyone say anything about my neck. "Your shoulder is fine, nothing is broken, no tears, you are good" HOW ?? I AM IN PAIN.
I cant believe it took me s long to see your videos and realize it was my neck all along. I made an appointment with a chiropractor in a couple of days, to avoid self-diagnosing and finally hear the truth from a professional. I just did the 2nd exercise from the video for the first time, and i don't know if it's because I'm still on a painkiller (which, btw, painkillers don't help that much with that pain, it makes it just a little more tolerable) but i don't feel the tension right now. I can cry, I am very grateful for people like you who share this on the internet and give us a chance to feel human again. Thank you.

just discovered your videos. they are very helpful. there's a lot of other videos out there which help to some degree but not like these. finding a good doctor/practitioner where I live is difficult so I try to do a lot myself.
I liked the first exercise best as well as the 4th one.
I sometimes experience nerve pain going from the collar bone to my left chest and also left arm. sometimes also on the right. that used to be from the back (my scapula) to the left chest but I managed to get that sorted. my heart's also already been checked (even did a catheter), heart function's fine, no blockages. so I assume it's a nerve issue.
would it be possible to do a video on that?
anyway, thank you for putting out these videos. much appreciated!

Pain that goes from the collar bone to the chest usually comes from a restricted clavicle. The most common cause of that is a restricted Sternoclavicular joint. I have two videos on that (because it causes AC joint pain too) so try those exercises if you can.

@@BodyFixExercises Also, a thing that might be worth a consider, is that smart watches are becoming so common these days, even my 88 year old father bought one this year. Some of them include software (like google fit) that actually allow you to schedule complete exercise packages and the watch will remind schedule it and guide you through with sound and video.

I have been having this shoulder blade pain since last year and in the past few weeks it evolved into a sharper pain. I've tried all sorts of stretching or gun massages but the pain just kept lingering. Then i tried your exercises today (which are similar to the stretches i usually do, so was naturally skeptical) and surprisingly, it relieved the sharp pain immediately, esp with exercises 1 and 3. There's still pain for sure, but that instant sharp pain when i do a cow position was gone, now its more of a soreness. I will continue this exercises daily and really hope it will finally eliminate this year long pain i have been having. Thank you for the straightforward and useful advices!

I have had neck pain for nearly 3 weeks, but because I’m allergic to NSAIDs and codeine, I have only been able to use paracetamol for pain relief. Unfortunately, paracetamol has not been effective in alleviating my pain. I have sought help from a physiotherapist and my GP, but the exercises they recommended actually made my pain worse. After trying numerous exercises from various sources, I found your video that has provided some relief. The pain has subsided, although I am unsure if this relief is temporary. I plan to continue with these exercises to see if they continue to help. I am grateful for the correct guidance and demonstration of the exercises in this video. It is frustrating that many videos I have looked at before finding yours, has provided inaccurate advice. Thank you 😊

I take aspirin, Tylenol and Ibuprofen but they don’t help much. I also spray Icy Hot on the area and it actually helps to reduce the discomfort some.
