- On Mother's Day weekend, we took Jack's mom to the Steeple to Steeple Tour, an annual event in Olde Towne Portsmouth, Virginia - a city next door to Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. We will share with you just a few minutes of this all day tour featuring art, architecture and stories from 8 historic houses of worship.
This tour visited the following 7 churches and 1 synagogue in the city of Portsmouth, Virginia. You can Google any of these by name for more information. Some beautiful churches and former Synagogue, Alice and Jack. Never knew that's where the Vulcan sign came from! Lovely architecture and some great history. Loved hearing about the "underground railroad" and just hearing the pipe organ! Thanks so much for the tour.

Great churches tour.
Many churches were rebuilt several times from its originals. The organs are amazing. Great to see so many different denominations, if only they could all unite and become one. After all there is only one God!

Very intersting video! This looks like a wonderful way to spend Mother's Day. The architecture, features, and historic roles these churches played are so fascinating. I also appreciate how you can feature churches from various denominations while maintaining focus on what you all have in common, rather than whatever differences may exist. Very tactful and respectful.
The included lunch was also a nice bonus to such a special Mother's Day experience.
