- I made a square platter out of a piece of zebrano.
I turned the outside of the platter and treated it with sealer, then mounted it on the lathe with a glue block and then hollowed out the platter.
Likewise, I finished the platter with woodwax
The dimensions are 25 centimeters square and is 4 centimeters high
Elegant ! Equal shares for the form and the wood Hans. Thanks for sharing. Take care. -Mike

Very nice work you do. Could you please tell me where you got that awesome tee shirt?
Hello Patrick, thank you for watching my video and your reply. I got this T-shirt and a number of others that I usually wear from the Etsy webshop
Hans that's an amazing grain and very nice project. What was the liquid you used on the hot glue to free things up?
Thank you Brett, I use denatured alcohol (and patience😃 ) to dissolve hot melt glue.
But before attaching anything to the glue block, I drill a hole through it, through which I can pour the denatured alcohol later.
Thanks for the very cool pro tips
