When they open the door, they notice that the cabin, once nicely specced is also a mess. The leather peeled off the steering wheel, the paddle shifters seem completely destroyed (luckily, they only had some silly add-ons!), while the center console looks like someone poured acid on it.
I assume the front bumper will be repainted, so why not just use a DA sander and 320 sanding disc and get the PPF off that way. You should also unplug all the electrical connectors in the engine bay to check for corrosion. If it's a flood car and the connectors are in bad shape, the engine won't run right.
To me, watching you go through the interior and pointing out all the rot, oxidation, knowing people who have/had Ferrari's- they aren't very high quality nor durable. Never been impressed by this in regards to the vast majority of Ferraris
@@thinkfaster6451 We'd love to see the research. DM it to my IG (locking_diff). We found who the previous owner was and found pics of it on an old IG account. But if you have more details, share them.
Seem to recall seeing that car cruising in the ATL back in the day. Been a minute. Used to have wide white walls on 22's and a RR grille. The interior was posh though-all white shag carpet. The guy driving was a businessman. I know this because he had on a purple three piece suit with ruffled collar and cuffs. His fedora was white and had about a twelve inch brim and an ostrich plume feather that must have been a foot long. Quite a sight. He had three secretaries in the car with him. They were wearing what looked like handkerchiefs. It was warm out. It was late-very late and dark at that time on Chesire Bridge Rd., so I might have missed some details. I'm sure a quick buff and detail will render it suitable to Sotheby's for auction. Wonder what happened to the grille. Maybe Vogue has a replacement. I was there on a stakeout. Kidding. Good luck.
Hurry up and get it sorted. I need a new loaner next time I'm in town!!

Looking forward to this series!
What dreams are made of! Following with excitement..
Thank you!!
I hate when RUclipsrs say "cheapest" and don't tell us how much. The cost is the whole point of the video.
You'll like Part 3 which is being uploaded now. We go over all of the costs in the beginning.
@@lockingdiff I have fallen into your trap. I must now subscribe. I must see this part 3 video.
@@samuelseager6785 It's set to launch 12:30PM EST
Great video!!
seems absolutely impossible but you guys know what your doing good luck
Fingers crossed!
To remove PPF that bad, 3m makes a tool that attaches to a drill to remove pin striping. It should work on the PPF. Should be around $40 to $50
THANK YOU! I found it, and I'll give it a whirl.
Thank god it’s a convertible! Far better experience

Older Ferraris were certainly brittle inside and assembled...oddly.
Looks like flood damage due to amount of mold and condition of leather and carpet.
Looks like its been sitting in salt water.. deep salt water..
Nope
@@lockingdiff Yep,..do research. I know the car.LOL

@@lockingdiff Will do..
Is it flood damaged?
That’s a flood damage car, lots of telltale signs.
Someone used it as a submarine?
It is all cosmetic so why so much drama?
That's really a nice hooptie I like that have a great day hope you get it all straightened out I'll be really cool when it's done
Thank you!
