Ferrari Workshop: it’s a 4 person job.
Scott: I’m going to do it with one hand and hold a camera with the other.
With flipflops!
don't forget the sunglasses
@@Ratarossa and a hot cup of Joe
Well, it doesn't count as his uncle is Bob
I understand the multitasking with the camera, but put a rubber mat down under the flywheel to avoid the starter ring gear impacting the hard concrete next time... or slip a thong/flipflop under it
My OCD is freaking out every time Scott puts a tool or flywheel on the bodywork 😱😂.
I thought the same when I saw him jostle the flywheel on the left rear quarter panel :p ;) Its his car though and he knows what bits he values or are due for a refresh anyway.
Very thorough job Scott that would give me confidence if I were to attempt it. IOWs- I would be terrified withpout first watching one of Scott's vids
Same when he was bleeding the lines and it started to rain. Minute later he said "it looks a bit milky" haha
Or the engine intake uncovered.
Me too
Just about the same I was thinking
The most amazing one man band on a driveway seen in 2021.
I don’t want any more stick about my white trainers I just watched some dude change a Ferrari clutch wearing flip flops
Ha ha ha I knew you would spot that
Dude or Dildo………..at least you have protection…….what if he’d dropped a spanner on his toe……….!
😂If Ratarossa was an Aussie :-
Man changes Ferrari clutch wearing thongs😮🤢
That are safety sliders, all good 👍🏻
Hahaha nice one Rob lol
Hey Scott, excellent job mate. I really appreciate how you got every single little seal possible while you're in there; If you take this car to Ferrari, they literally don't touch about half the amount of parts you replaced unless requested or unless there is obvious failure.
Cheers buddy, a very wise fella RUclipsr told me about half of them wink wink.
I find this comment absolutely epic considering Sam literally just released his video on it. I know when that video was done because I live close to him and can tell by the weather. But either way, awesome
Nice removal-job of the engine-bearing with the "stiffler". 👍
@@Ratarossa Scott, definately need to look into getting a few chickens and cows to boost your subs. Maybe Samcrac can let you some of both.
Facts, and this is the case with a lot of mechanics
Most mechanical workshops couldn't do what you just did in your driveway, often one handed. That's the truly impressive part. Seriously fantastic work mate, keep sharing.
Wow, thanks!
One of the most impressive things about this video, is the fact you completely removed the transmission just for the sake of your RUclips followers. You actually created additional work for yourself, just to make our experience better.
I've taken on some complicated jobs on cars and other machines on my own and wouldn't hesitate to do this one if I were 40 or 50 years younger. The sense of accomplishment when you complete a job like this is priceless! No left over bolts or nuts either. Lol
Most of us will never work on a Ferrari but I think we could all have a go now you’ve shown us how
Why would anyone thumbs down this video.?
This fella should have 1 million subs by now.
Great video thank you.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Samcrac is crying over watching scott change a clutch with its bits and bobs in 1 video while it took him more than a year and the car havent moved since
LOL i was about to post the same thing! Sam the clown
Yeah, but his “Mom” keeps tiring him out😮
@@PeteCourtier telling me you wouldn't? Loool
@@guesswho8628 well😂 Throw in Xev Bellringer and party time🥰
I don’t own a Ferrari, but I still find watching these films fascinating and relaxing
Maybe one day your friend will give you an amazing deal on their classic Ferrari and this could come in handy! Until then it’s good entertainment.
Same 😆
I watched the whole thing without skipping forward 🤙🏽
Why have you not got more subs this guy just changed a clutch on his ferrari on a drive way himself
He's King! 😊👍
That was cool reminded me of a Wheeler Dealer episode on steroids well done.
Great to see a car like that getting worked by a DIY'er. Fab job!
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to film it despite it making the job ten times longer! You didn’t even need to completely remove that gearbox out of the engine bay but you did for the sake of making this video. It’s good to know I’m not the only one who makes life harder for myself just for the sake of filming haha.
Enjoying the content. Keep up the enthusiasm 👍🏼
Servicing Ferrari in sandles. One of a kind you are man.
Awesome video! Nice to see you up and back at it. Thanks for all the little details, it makes all the difference. Also big appreciation for the special deals, us do it yourselfers’ find that any little bit of assistance makes all the difference…
Love your channel, you’ve open my eyes to the possibility of Ferrari, moments away!! All the best to you, GMB
I love that you are working with "Hugh Jackmans" on your drive way.
RataRosa one man band, no no conductor of his own Italian orchestra Cheers
These are my favourite kind of Ratarossa videos. Love the way you use your Ferraris like they're some old Citroen and not in a garage under sheets scared that one spec of dust touches the paint. Top man 👍
Thank you very much!
@@Ratarossa great content mate. You never see stuff like this and this in detail on these kind of cars. Cant wait for the BBI to get back together. Love that era of cars 👌
Love the way you lump the fly wheel around on the rear quarter 🤣 proper use of a proper car 🚗 👌 👏 👍
I got scared when dragging the crown fly on the fender .. :D
Only channel I have the bell notification on for
much appreciated
Thank you SO much for doing these videos. I can't tell you how much I've learned about my car and how useful these have been. We need to keep as many of these on the road as possible for the NEXT 20 years!
A great source of education for those with this system. Very well done.
We changed the cam belts on my 308gtb and were pleased with ourselves. You are a legend.
Scott this is brilliant - The level of detail is what we love, thank you
I missed the driveway videos so much! Thanks for going back to the roots! :-)
Really glad to see a video doing major Ferrari work back in your driveway, in flip flops. That’s the true Ratarossa form. 🤌😆
Great video with superb narration - I've literally done around 50 clutches a year for all of my working life ( but never on a Ferrari ) and have always worn overalls and proper work shoes. You're a brave man wearing flip flops, as even with the most careful working practices, I've dropped a few things on my feet and been glad of the gear I've had on.
Great to see people taking on projects like this.....life is all about the amount of effort you put into it...effort in and results out.
Scott, you do such a great job at explaining everything. I really enjoy your channel. Every video you make keeps our attention through the whole thing.you have a great personality too.
thanks buddy thats very kind to say
So much respect and admiration for this, changing a Ferrari clutch on a drive way outdoors in uk weather in flip flops🤣🙌🏻👌🏻
I enjoyed the video! It's good having you back working in your driveway! I enjoy those the most. You're not afraid to tackle any problem. Keep the videos coming.
That might be easy for you, but to me that was incredibly impressive! Well done on having the skill, knowledge and confidence to tackle such a job yourself... And you also saved yourself God knows how much by not taking it to a Ferrari mechanic! Top marks, mate :-)
Well done Scott 👍🏼
Making a fool out of the £200 per hr Ferrari "Technicians" that suck air
through their teeth when they hear 360 clutch 🤔🧐😬
And here's Scott the one man tech team changing it on the driveway
with one specialist spanner and his Puma flip-flops 😂😂😂😂👏🏼
flip-flops are the best, accident prevention! :DDD
The Puma flip-flops keep it real!!
You have some set of balls to tackle such a huge job, in your driveway, in a pair of flip-flops.
I don’t think even manscaped could tackle them balls….. they’re huge!
Fabulous video. Your knowledge and skill is an absolute credit to you and it was intriguing to watch.
Thank you for such detailed and entertaining content.
Ha ha ha Stevie .... I'm packing a couple of space hoopers down there !
Wow Scott! What an amazingly satisfying video. So cool to see that you are not afraid to take stuff apart yourself and the way you do it thoroughly! I don't own a ferrari, but this is great content!
You have the best "workbench" using the Ratarossa! Love your content Scott. Keep it coming!
Love the driveway grind for the repair. Great job!
Awesome work! Thanks for sharing. Love to see this job on an F430 someday!
This is inspiring. I don't have anything like a ferrari, but I do have an MR2 and no garage and the clutch is going to need changing soon. I know it can be done, but it's daunting, so good to see someone doing it with a much bigger and heavier transmission!
This was really fantastic. I think the main benefit of videos like this is that they give us confidence to tackle thinks that stop working/ need replacing/ repairing on our cars, whatever the type/ value/ condition of the cars. Doing your homework beforehand, diagnosing the problem, confirming the initial diagnosis, ordering the right parts, having the right tools, and following the instructions seem to be the way to do. Well done, that was really great !
thanks you buddy, kind words
Tks Scott, just snuck in my Superperformance order before the end of the month (to Aus, no less) to take advantage of the free shipping. I've bought from these guys before but the 308 has languished for some months and needs a bit of maintenance so I've loaded up for a couple of future to-do's as well. Had a part query on rear stabiliser bushes which was answered in a flash. Great people to deal with.
I love this so much. I always assumed these were much more complex than they are actually are.
Another awesome video Scott! If you can do the clutch on your very lovely Ferrari on the driveway, all driveway mechanics should feel encouraged! Also very much enjoying the BB videos, and envious of the facilities you have to carry the restoration.
Loved every minute of this video!! More please!!
Scott the only man alive to fix his Ferrari clutch on the drive in Flip Flops in the rain on his own bar some borrowed muscle.....top work fella
cheers Dan , i love to show it done in the plain garage environments without special tools so inspire anyone to have a go
I admire your courage to do all this by yourself!!!
Good to see a thorough nice clean job .
Been looking forward to seeing this done
Great to see a return to classic ratarossa content. You make it look so much easier than samcrac !
I was wondering if Sam set his clutch properly....
Probably not
i don't even a ferrari, but I gave ur video a thumbs up because anyone that can do a ferrari clutch in their driveway is on another level!
Ferraris are made for people like you. Fear is half the fight to servicing this car. Obviously a very complex job and you’ve done the required research. One aspect many don’t know is what a joy it is to work on a machine with such flawless fit. The precision actually makes every job easier.
Wonderful video once again, Scott! Least I’m not the only person that works on my cars in flip flops 🩴 👍🏻
Awesome video! I really missed those complex DIY jobs.
Kudos for doing this video and the clutch...So impressed, I'm not even going to mention your Flip flops..Stuart, and his little doggie were hilarious...🤨😳😳😄😄🇬🇧
Massively informative video, you brave taking on these jobs, good on you 🤙🏻
Such a great video. Takes a lot of confidence to do all that work.
Great work Scott, very helpful and you make it look easy. 🇦🇺
Love watching you work and attention to detail.
lol... one man band replacing sports car clutch in his drive way wearing slip slops. Goes to show anything is possible. Stealership must be having a hissie fit. I love this...
My man, you are incredibly brave for tackling that repair in your driveway.
You’re amazing Scott, brains and automobile surgeon plus the ability to really drive a Ferrari - great video and content 👍
Thanks Malcolm
The rear trans may be more accessible, but it’s your knowledge and experience that makes the scope of difficulty so manageable.
Ain’t no such thing as an easy ‘driveway’ clutch job on a Ferrari.
Terrific video once again. Cheers Scott 👍
Great informative video! I am in the middle of doing the same on my scud, and this video has been so helpful. Many thanks and keep up the fantastic work!
Mate.....you are the BOLLOCKS!👍🏻🥃. Outstanding job.... outstanding video.... your knowledge of the inner workings of the Ferrari transmission is epic...AND, the fact that that everything you do is "learn as you go", makes your videos even more enjoyable. Thanks for the incredible content! Please keep it coming!
the most bad ass driveway clutch job I have seen by far! and I have changed clutches in car parks out front of race tracks at 3 AM to make racing next day. love the work keep it up
THANKS that really means a lot, appreciate the comment
Wow wasn’t expecting that! It’s looks like a pleasure to work on😉👌👍
Nice one Scott, we missed a gritty episode!! 🙂❤️
You are a legend doing this job alone, without a lift, outside in english weather, on a Ferrari!!! Amazing work!
Wow, thanks!
I was wary enough doing the clutch on a fwd Rover but damnit, I'd be scared as hell of this.. Good work man. 👍
Watched and enjoyed every second of this video, Thank you very much ..
Fantastic job!! Patience is the key and no rush. Well done!
I love how Ratarossa takes the mysticism out of Ferrari maintenance. Aside from the F1 actuator and tests this doesn't look much harder to do than a Miata clutch.
I am in admiration of the work you do without a lift. I am spoilt .Well done.
As I've never owned a ferrari and never will own one that was a great video everything done to detail congratulations on your work
Good work Scott. Really enjoyed it.
Not only did Scott change a Ferrari clutch on his paved driveway in the English weather but he did most of it one handed. Take that so called "Ferrari Techs".!
Great work, inspiring!
BRILLIANT!
Well Done Mate!
👍🏽😎
Fabulous video Scott. Bravo!
Ganz toll dargestellt, so macht es Spass !! Danke
Scott, U R awesome! You totally ROCK 👊🏻
Genuinely enjoyed that. I'll never own a Ferrari....but now I know how to change a clutch on a 360....love it 😁
Such incredible detail and enthusiam , thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video. . Very good work
Nice job, great to watch
Incredible video! Just wow!
I’ve watched this video like 3 times now and feel like I now know how to do this. When I’m done, I feel like I need to pay you because it would have been a LOT harder to do this without your video!
Love the DIY content on your drive/in your garage.
love the use of the rear wings as a work bench ! that flywheel on it haa haa nfg class
I really miss tinkering on my old 'sh*tbox' cars when I first started out with cars. Great work Scott.
Really interessting Job. THX for the Video.
Great job, really informative and easy to understand! All I need now is the ferrari to have a go on 😎
Amazing that there could be quality 'upgrades' to a car which just by sheer cost should have the finest quality parts available anywhere.
Not sure you'll ever see this comment, but I had to say I enjoyed every minute of this video. Well done!
thanks buddy
Looking forward to change clutch on my 360. Thanks from Norway ❤️❤️
great watch thanks for the video 👍
Awesome work Rata.
Great Video! Amazing what you can yourself with some planning and determination 👍
