- Hi there!
It’s just a random amateur project of mine.
This video was recorded on February, 27.
Due to the circumstances in the world there may be some difficulties (for me) with practicing foreign languages with people from other countries, so I’ve decided to finally record my first ever video. I know it’s not so good - I look so tired here and make mistakes, but I’m glad that I finally did it. So feel free to subscribe and leave comments (or correct my mistakes, if you want, it’ll help!) Thank you!
P.S. I’m Magda, a 1st year student of translation studies in Russia. Nice to meet you!
I've been looking for a channel like this for over a year. It's great to find a fellow translation student, unfortunately, there aren't many of us here on RUclips.

¡Aprendí un poco de español en la escuela!
el español es un idioma muy bonito
gracias por el comentario, suerte con tus estudios! 🌸🌸
Your accent is so unusual (not a bad thing!) for a forgein speaker of English! Ocassionally sounds Australian/New Zealand, but mostly British English
Well, yes, as I’m not a native speaker, my accent is just a mix of everything 😂
We study all day🤗
Hey I’m currently in third year of English and French studies and I’m starting to enjoy translation.
Even though it was really hard the first time we were introduced to it
So I’m thinking of doing a masters in translation
Would you recommend?
Thank you❤ and great video !
Hi,
Thank you for the feedback!
I’m not sure I can recommend it just because I have no experience in a master degree:)
But if you enjoy it, I think this would be a great idea!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Any recommendations of universities for studying Translation and Interpreting in London? Please, I liked your video!.
Oh, I wish I had enough experience to recommend you something in London, but, unfortunately, I do not:(
I guess you can try finding someone who’s first language is English, maybe they know this better!
Hi! I’d like to ask you if studying English interpretation and translation, can I work in another language? There’s only an English program near where I live but I want to work in Spanish and Japanese (my native languages) because here is not that common to find Spanish and Japanese speakers. I need to find a job quickly 😢
Hi, I'm not sure that I understood the gist correctly, but basically, you can work with any language pair. Japanese and Spanish sound very good! It may be a benefit
I'm so glad I found this channel I'm a second year Spanish student who has an orientation decision to make
I have two options either translation or tourism amd I don't know which one to choose yet can someone help me ?
You can do both, and after that you can choose which one is better for you. Turismo es muy bueno por el contacto humano y la traducción, bueno no sé porque nunca he trabajado con eso pero me encantaría.
Привет а можете сказать с каким приложением вы пользовались когда писали конспекты?
Hi! It's Goodnotes 5
Can you suggest online courses offered by esteemed University?
I am 17 years old and I dream to study a new language..I want to learn Spanish because that is a language I am currently studying right now in my last year of high school 😅 but yea what would you encourage for a girl like me who is trying to learn the language and finds out that there is almost little to no collages that teach certain languages?
Hi! I think that sometimes studying languages at Uni may be overestimated. It really depends on what your perspectives and goals are. If you are doing it just for fun and new experience, I think I would recommend keeping going with Spanish on your own (unless you pursue an academic aim in this field).
Where are you studying? Which university?
Hi what do you think about the chances of working after graduation
Hi! Tbh, I have no idea:)
It’s been interesting to me so far. I think I could work as a translator
Can you work as a digital nomad with this study?
As a translator? Yes of course
What is the average salary of a translator monthly?
Hi! It depends on lots of things - your target language, your mother tongue, your country, what kind of job you have, how many words per hour you can translate and so on! There’s a channel called “freelanceverse” where Adrian explains such things, so you can check it if you’re interested :) maybe one day I make such a video where I’ll tell about it
Вы русская ?
Русский мой основной язык, да)
@@booktrition мой шок в шоке. Вы только на первом курсе, но ваш английский ❤️🔥
Hi, guys. What do you say if we make WhatsApp grup for translation studies students?
Hi:)
If I get better at my time management and make more videos, I think I’ll create a separate chat:)
Do you have an account on Facebook or whatsup on which we can communicate with you?
Hi! You can dm me on Instagram :) @magdalearns
