Yes thx. Problem is, under stressful situations, i forget some features 🤪 like looking on the right side for ship info or assigning a captain. Normal, i would have pressed Pause, and chill a bit more. But under "record" i dont want to do that.😄Or loosing time by searching the right context menue - normal i play german, and my brain searchs for german keywords.......
It was very kind of the Xenon to properly label their ships with their faction logo and arabic numerals registration number. Do Kha'ak also do the same with their ships?
@@egoaut I mean, the Xenon took care to paint on the registration ID and their logo on the hull of their ship. For as much as they want to wipe out all of the organic life, they still care to comply with their traffic laws. And, like, if they paint on their logo on their ship, does this mean they came up with it too? Was there an especially creative Xenon who designed their logo, and one of the #deca's said, "yeah, this logo is so us! Let's adopt this as our emblem so we can distinguish ourselves amongst all other races, and have our own identity!"

All the sentient civilisations made vessels in the same dozen coded categories - M5 scout, TS transport, etc - and gave each one a registration in ABBCC-11 format, where A is the civilisation, BB is the class, and CC-11 is a unique alphanumeric ID. And the pirates, Xenon and Kha'ak adhered to this... worst of all, player-owned ships did not belong to any civilisation but instead to civilisation code Y I'd respect it more if pirate ships carried fake ID, and hostile ships were classified and tagged when detected by friendly forces. could have a "drive signature" mechanic to fingerprint individual ships, with handwavium to explain why a ship would stay recognisable after you swap its engines
@@dylananderson6223the PE is the easiest ship to obtain by far: they often appear in raiding parties, they're the military vessel most likely to be isolated, and they're also slow and tanky enough that they may survive the encounter with NPC patrols long enough to cause a bail, so you may even find some abandoned near a jump gate already without having to do the work yourself. After updating to 7.00 if you open an older save, the Xenon will essentially discontinue the P in favor of the PE, but it may take a while for the new models to reach the frontline. The SE are similarly easy to obtain, being often on their own but playing hard to catch and requiring you to intercept them.
Rip, Egosoft making the boarding resistance 1600 in the full release has made it ridiculously RNG to try and get a H; wasted a few hours last night keeping one pinned while boarding it over and over again, didnt get it and just ended up blowing it up in frustration.
I had the opposite, I had one fully disabled at hav choice out of the way of the tug of war battle that is constantly happening and all the friendly AI were too busy going to the gate so I was safe but when I realized that it had 1600 resistance strength I was helpless as I had only recruits.
@@egoaut Probb only works in beta and or mods. I tried as well. Best marines, max 16 at a time, tried all the diff settings, for shits and giggles crippled the ship and it don't work. 0 crew, but boarding resistance is 1600... Maybe if you had all 16 marines at 5 stars, but those I don't have yet. Too much effort for a lame ship, IMO. Target 2 big turrets 1st and you can take it out with 1 burst lasers chimera.
@@martinhorner642 Optional co-op with your friends or a skirmish mode could be fun. Having a spacesim game be full-on online like Eve Online or Elite Dangerous tends to bring out the worst of the humanity though.
I'm sort of glad this game turns a lot of people off, games shouldn't be made =just= to make money. At the same time, I'm very grateful we have enough players to support Egosoft and their comment to the X Universe.
Oh EVE,....i played around 3years with 2 accounts. Did spend some time in Providence and a C5 wormhole. The last 1.5 years i owned my own C3. Remember ingame defending/attacking POS and waking up middle of the week when others sleep, and go to work after that🤪. Most players will always play Care-Bear in "High" and mine the whole day for nothing🤮. And i always met a lot of mining bots. Loved the game, but now i have family and no time for it anymore....
Kha'ak are bad boys and insectoids. Dont forget its Beta...And i am playing "The crisis", max 30 mins. from one incursion to the next...i had pause while capturing the H

What i know, every ship gets a unique ID Number. At least on the map you can find it on the bottom when you select one.

Anyone have any clues, ive tried 20 times to cap a H with the best marines I have. Cant do it
