This is great for my pirate playthrough. I have yet to buy any ships in that game and i have a decent fleet 😄 Pirating every blueprint i can too. Pretty fun. Cheers!
Since "Prometheus" is a name of a person, a greek god to be precise, the plural would be "Prometheus class ships". Or you try the latin rule, swapping the "-us" for "-i", i´m not sure whether that apllies to names too, but it would be at least according to latin grammar rules.
Hem ... I only solo kill all K and I with manual control of Odyssey with T1 mods. If there are too many small ships, the Odysseus drops 2-10 Mk2 lasers. And I have 1x Hydra to manually pilot to clean S/M ships. And 1x Argon Behemoth destroyer to take down stations in AFK mode. It's so nice to see how different players have very different strategies. For me, Xenon I were always the weakest. Their turn radius is so low that by the time they do a 90° turn they the Odyssey sniped it. Xenon K turn much faster and are harder to snipe safely. For I, just engage from the side and it's a free kill. You can even teleport to an other ship once the Odyssey is in position.
I’ll be posting a Video soon about a loadout I’ve been using in the Odysseus and my time with a few K’s. But I like talking about other ways to play and other strategies to try.

Just found my osprey in company regard, but it was even further south west than in the vid! Maybe something was patched or there's more randomness now? It's my first ever playthrough. You weren't kidding when you said it's a flying brick haha! I used to play a ton of X2 back in the day, and the Osprey was my go-to boat back then. Good god, she got ugly :(
She is! I believe there was a remeasuring of sectors with 7.0. Also fixed stations like warf’s and shipyard are no longer fixed. So…. There can be some randomness involved now.
@T-Skillet indeed. I found mine waaaay further south west. Looking at the map, it was right on the yellow border of the system and much muuuuuch higher. It was very strange.

K's are easy to take out the engines, then you easily out range them!

That’s good to know! I’m not sure if there is a radius they can be in. They used to have set coordinates.
