That drifting in the Odysseus was a joy to watch!
That thing is a beast to drift! I haven't went straight for it on the start before so that was a fun challenge.
One tip regarding capturing Odysseus: You don't have to fly the ship back, just transfer the pilot and send him toward safe space alone, soon as he go far away from you or you leave the xenon space toward safe system and then command the Odysseus to go somewhere, it will be safe going thru xenon fleet while game only calculates simple things than graphic etc. It works for me like 100% every time

I very much enjoy your long form play throughs, I believe they are without a doubt the best on RUclips. That said, this challenge was a nice change of pace.

thanks alot im waiting for new playtrough with new patch :) need somebody with balls of steel to make imperium only with medium ships max. every playtrough which i watch is good till point where you own everythink no matter what games throw at you. with max M ship it will be challenge for everyone dont you think? you can be smuggler imperium ( excuse for not using capital ships ) sorry for my english. I really just want say thank you for your videos. I was trying to play myself but its too complex for me when i dont have enough time to learn everythink a enjoy game.. then i realize i dont need to play just watch and have fun. @@SakaGames but it can force people make totaly new strategies. now everybody know which ship against xenon etc.. but what if you cant buy right ship :) anyway thanks for videos i really like that roleplay x4
Odysseus did not appear or spawn in my game. I went there and it is empty space all over that area. Do you have to scan ?
No, but perhaps another faction grabbed it if it's not Xenon territory for you anymore. Also, it's tough to get the position perfect. I missed it myself several times before this run.
@@SakaGames no it was in Xenon sector.
They are sometimes several km"s away from the spot you see in this video. Have your co-pilot take over, use the "sector explorer" order and make sure to use the "visit abandoned ships" only suborder. There's no doubt he/she will spot that ship for you within a minute when you are near that location. Hope this helps.

why didn't you just hire some crew from the wharf and promote someone to captain from your crew?
i'm confused.
A pilot wasn’t really needed, it was more of a convenience that I wasn’t really worried about. If I saw one standing around that was only 3k or so I would’ve got them.

Why would a pilot make this easier?
Welcome! With a pilot you could tell them to dock up with you once you take command of the big ship. That way you don't have to fly both.
