Hella sexy, minus the bash guards. My Shimano detailer and 1x8 set works perfectly awesome and has an indestructible feel, its among the best I had generally. I can't always justify upgrades but they make it harder and harder not to spring primarily for athletics not functionality. I don't need to be the flasher neither but dang that's nice.
@@CycleXplorer I’ve done about 600miles so far, the chain is still well under its wear limit and running smoothly. The only noticeable signs of wear are the coating has worn off on a few of the cassette cogs but overall it’s lasting well even with lots of wet rides.
Did you have to replace the bottom bracket? I'm also converting from GX AXS to X0 Eagle transmission and I'm wondering if you absolutely need the SRAM DUB Wide bottom bracket or if the spacers will do the job.
I was coming from a Shimano crankset so I needed a new BB but if you already have a DUB BB you can just use spacers, here is the compatibility chart.www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hierarchy/compatibility-map/mtb/dub-mtb-bottom-bracket-compatibility-chart.pdf
Ohhh they have copied shimanos XT/XTR/SLX with this one having the bent cage! Now that is interesting because that was a massive difference in sram to shimano for the 1X system! Sram used a narrow wide jockey wheel to keep the chain on shimano used a more refined design but i see why they done this! because the Axs on shimanos cassettes was alot better than there own! But now with the childish grudge they went and done the iPhone move on us so we are now locked into their products with the T type! Buy the previous version they are going near half price just now I just bought one for my 1x12 XT set up!
i can't wait for the whole bike to come together!
SRAM Groupsets are really amazing.
Yes but not their calipers
This production values of your videos !!!
Leat components do some brilliant axs shifters for these, I like the pads that clip round the bars they blend in it's so clean

Any experience of how it's wearing? Do the chains etc last a good amount of time?

Your mention of previous gen is the axs drivetrain not the axs transmission? I was thinking you were comparing some new xo to an older xo transmission
Yes the axs X01 drivetrain, my apologies if it wasn’t clear.
Chainring bolts are T20
You're correct, my mistake. Thanks you for letting me know.
@@jedmtbNo problem, love your detailed videos!
